Eira woke up to see quite a dirty ceiling. There was something heavy on top of her.  She took it off her with much difficulty and struggled quite a bit to sit up. Cold! She pulled back the blankets on herself which she took off. There was nobody there in what looked like a diner. There was a small campfire. It looked like it was about to go out in a few minutes. The front door looked like it was blocked off from the outside. It was quite messy around her. There were a lot of empty food cans. She scanned the room to see if anybody was there, possibly the one who brought her here. "Hello-", she wasn't able to speak. There was a small set of stairs. She decided to go up the stairs hoping to see someone. She tried to stand up. That's when the pain hit her. It hurt too much but she managed to stand up. She immediately felt her knees going out and crashed onto the cold floor. How long have I been sleeping?, she wondered. She sat up, picked up two blankets and covered herself. She stood up again to fall down again. She barely managed to crawl on the cold floor to a wall and stood up leaning on the wall. Slowly, she made it to the kitchen door and went in. She helped herself to some cold food and made her way to the stairs. She slowly went up the stairs. She opened the door to the roof and took a small step outside.

She was greeted by quite a strong blast of cold wind and snow. It was a blizzard. She found herself ankle deep in snow. She noticed she had no boots on. She stood there, leaning on the door, not moving an inch just staring at her feet. 

Why does it feel so good to have my feet in the snow? Am I numb due to the cold? No that's not it. She felt herself losing balance and let go of the blankets to lean on the door. The blankets fell down with a soft thud on the stairs behind her. It- It's not cold? But it felt cold just a few moments ago. What on earth is going on? I'm sure it's not a dream. But why do I feel like this? I can think about this later, right now I need to figure out where I am. 

Eira hesistantly got on the ground and crawled to the nearest and got up with the help of the railing. Everything was covered in a blanket of snow. She saw a parking lot right down below. Many cars were still parked. She looked around a little bit till she finally realized. She was at Beeny's Diner. The very diner she was at with her sister before she woke up. What the hell happened on that day? Where did all the people go? I should get down first.
