Wizardry, or Elemental Magic (not to be confused with Magic of the Elements), is the colloquial term used for one of the eight spheres of magic made available to some users of a Silvergate.
It uses a specific vital stat, Mana, labeled as such on the Interface. As with all magic, the stat is not visible until you obtain a Skill that uses it.
Wizards are widely considered the most boring, bland, and uninteresting brand of Northworld magicians. Simple, blunt skills, with no frills and little calculation beyond not going “out of mana”.
Wizard Skills are typically associated with stats like Dexterity, Reflexes, and Intuition but run the gamut of all stats. They are quite varied in effect. There is only one known tier 1 Skill in each stat, save for Dexterity, which has two, but none of the tier 1 Skills are considered “good”.
The typical Wizard spell does damage, debuffs, and various effects. All Skills using Mana affect enemies, never the Wizard nor friendly entities. That makes them well suited for area effects, as damage or debuffs are 100% guaranteed not to affect allies fighting there. Unlike Aetherist explosions.
Unfortunately, area effects are relatively rare among Wizard skills, and almost all of them have been acquired through Skill Stones or the Setup rather than the lottery.
The vital formula for Mana is basic:
Vital cap = 500 + Level×4 + Intuition×3 + Dexterity×3 + Reflexes×3

Rate = (Presence / 10) per second
Any Skill or piece of gear that affects Presence will increase that rate and the number of times the Wizard will call out “OOM” in the middle of a fight. There is still a specific Meditation skill that can be used to improve that very significantly:
Meditation of Mana
Tier 4 Fortitude
Action
Mana leaves an imprint. By focusing on it, you can do better.
Mana energy recharge at an accelerated rate while you are meditating. You gain a bonus to your Mana skills for a short time. Meditation is interrupted if you move or take an action.
Maximum meditation period: (skill) sec
Cooldown: (600×0.99skill) sec
Mana recovery: (skill/3) per sec
Bonus skill: +(1.01skill) to all Mana skills for (60+skill) sec
This is the highest regeneration effect of all vital-specific Meditations. Wizards tend to be separated into two categories: Meditating Wizards and Terrible Wizards.
Other, more generic Meditations also greatly increase your regeneration rates for Mana, but all Meditation skills are incredibly rare (see “Fanduk”).
Typical Wizard skills:
Black Bolt (tier 5 Dexterity): does damage and cumulative random debuff
Disrupt Action (tier 4 Reflexes): interrupts the next magical skill
Impress (tier 3 Presence): reduces the rate of Skill use on an enemy (affects only Lesser Elite or greater)
Area Slow (tier 2 Strength): reduces all movement by a %.
Pushback (tier 1 Resilience): moves the enemy backward, based on its orientation.
