Ronan sat down heavily, his body aching from the unexpected encounter with the mysterious boy. He thought to himself, “I must be out of shape if some kid could give me such issues.” He chuckled softly, a mixture of exhaustion and amusement in his voice. The boy’s strange abilities had caught him off guard, leaving him feeling vulnerable and unprepared.
Minerva and Indigena rushed to his side, concern etched on their faces. “Are you alright?” Minerva asked, her voice laced with worry.
Ronan nodded, trying to catch his breath. “I’m fine, winded,” he replied. “That boy... he was baffling. There’s something unnatural about him.” Indigena snorted at the obvious statement and responded, “way to state the obvious what’s next clouds are white.” Ronan frowned at the woman; he cared little about her opinion after all, only he lifted arms to move the obvious threat to the group.
Indigena rolled her eyes at Ronan’s annoyance, but didn’t push the matter further. She understood that he was still shaken from the encounter, and her sarcastic remark wasn’t helping at the moment.
Minerva, apparently the peacemaker, intervened. “Alright, enough bickering,” she said. Stay focused, let's leave now.. That boy may have been peculiar, but we can’t let our guard down.” Her voice had a weary tinge in it, shoulders drooping, and with a sigh, she moved forward.

Ronan took a deep breath, pushing aside his irritation. He knew Minerva was right. They needed to ensure that their emotions didn't affect their judgment, especially in a place where they had been ambushed..

Orange grass surrounded the village. The strangest thing Ronan has ever seen in his life.. Indigena frowned, she thought morosely to herself. Her hand recoiled with a hiss from the grass she touched.. The grass had base Shard energy on it. The purpose was obvious to Indigena
Someone wanted to turn the grass orange. Doing this with BSE or Base Shard Energy would kill any chance of it reproducing and therefore kill anything that grows in the same spot after it disintegrates.
She felt like she should explain what she found out. Looking over at Ronan she snatched his hand away from touching one of the brown plants.
“Ronan Don’t touch that! It’s Poisonous!” Ronan looked at her like she had a second head. “ What do you mean it’s poisonous, it's just grass?”
“Okay so i'm pretty sure you don’t know about Base Shard Energy right right i’ll take your look for yes. So there's two types of Shard energy.
The first and most common is Base Shard Energy or BSE for short. It’s the most simple yet versatile use of Energy Ronan furrowed his brow, trying to grasp the concept. "So, Base Shard Energy... What does it do exactly?"
"It's the most basic form of Shard Energy manipulation," Indigena clarified. "It can be used for various purposes, from healing to combat and other stuff like runes. But when it's used to taint organic material like this grass, it becomes harmful, even lethal.
Moving into the village, they walked into the town square where a huge tree lay. It was enriched with ropes on its branches. Three lady’s sat down on the stone that surrounded the tree. Getting closer Ronan heard them speaking but not to each other. They were Speaking to the tree?
What no one expected was when the tree formed a mouth and it started moving.
