feelings

I was gathering energy to attack Elder Jessie when suddenly; the world spins. I lose my balance for a second and catch myself from falling. When I look up, the room is entirely different. Elder Jessie and Elder Kyle have disappeared. I look around and see nothing but pure darkness when I hear a voice. "Wow, that was close. Alexander, you and the shadow are so alike and so different at the same time.” A spider that was the same size of me came out of the darkness. It slowly crawls in my direction. As it got closer, I recognized the design of the spider. He is Anaisa but why did he change his voice? The spider takes a giant leap. It cling to the ceiling. Well, I think it is the ceiling. I cannot see what its feet is touching. The spider points to me and motion me to come closer. I instead folds my arms and smirk. I can feel the spider rolling its eyes. Anaisa looks at me dead in the eyes and says, “Alexander, can you please not die before the game even truly have begun? You aren’t strong enough to fight that man. You would kill yourself trying to kill that man.” I rolled my eyes; there was no way that would happen.

I mean I was angry yes but angry enough to kill Elder Jessie no. I know my limits. Right after I thought this the spider says, ”Yes, you would have fought him to the death. This is obvious. I doubt you could find a person in the multi-verse that would disagree with that. Also, you need not lie to me. I know your thoughts. Don’t tell me, you will die for your revenge. You care more about your adopted parents' name than you care about revenge. You act a lot like the shadow, but sometimes you don’t. If your adopted parents told you to drop this revenge because it is bad for your health, you would. The shadow doesn’t listen to anyone. Even those closest to him, he ignores us. You are the perfect son, well a son that might self destruct but a perfect one. The shadow doesn’t understand you. You are too nice to win this war. You will see the good in people, and this will cause you to question your own beliefs.” Yeah, no. My revenge keeps me there isn’t anyone that will stop me. I walk away from the spider.

I do not understand why the spider sent me to this place but I want nothing to do with him. That stupid spider doesn’t know me. Yes, I was angry at Elder Jessie but not because of my parents. I was angry because he called me soft. Man, I really need to think about this negotiation. Why would my parents want to negotiate with those monsters? Why should we see them as humans? They are animals that don’t think based on logic but emotion. The lost a strong military force trying to kill me. They didn’t possibly understand that if they fail, I will hate them for the rest of my life. That being said, I understand they aren’t all monsters but why should I care? There are people out there wanting to help them, but why should I? They attack me first and not only that but they will do anything to take me out. My parents are too nice, I need them need to see the errors of their ways. As I was walking alone, the spider appeared before me.

I wanted nothing to do with it. I turn around and was getting ready to fly away. Something hits my back. I turn around and see web on my back. Oh, no. It pulled me from behind. The spider holds up the web, forcing me to face it. I was piss but hanging in the air by the web there was nothing I could do. The spider looked at me with all eight eyes. It hung there just staring at me. I didn’t like the way it was looking at me. I threw a punch at its face. The spider just swung me backwards, making the punch not connect. It sighs and says, “Little one you are a good person and will one day make a wonderful leader. Can you please stop being stubborn and stop with this revenge nonsense? The fairy users did something wrong and most of them paid with their lives. You shouldn’t condemn the rest of them just because the actions of a few.” This made me furious! It was the reason for them coming after me. It caused my birth parents' death. I yelled, “Why are you taking their side? Why did you trap me in here? What do you want you monster?” The spider sighs and slowly let me down to the ground.

It says, “Alexander, I have something I must show you. I wish you would be reasonable but it doesn’t look like that will happen today. I really hope one day you would understand the actions of your enemy.” The room changes around me. The shadow is talking to 4 people. There was a man and women that I didn’t know with two other people with hoods. The spider pushes me in the back, forcing me to step forward. I walk in front of the two Elders, they were wearing Elders clothing. I see Elder Jessie and Elder Kyle. There was the monster I met the one time. I have forgotten his name. I turn around and ask the spider, “What is all of this? What are you showing me?” The spider walks up to one table and his leg goes through it. The spider says, “This is a recording the shadow wants me to show you. It was a peace negotiation With both sides, strongest people decided the fate of your world. The shadow wanted to see if his progeny was smart enough to take this deal instead of letting both side fight it out with the world being destroy as a result if you guys don’t get along well more if one side doesn’t win. After this meeting we decide that we made the right decision in putting the humans lives in three of your hands. Just watch, the world might be turn upside down.”

The spider moved into the shadows and once it disappeared the people talked to each other. I learned that the other two people were a couple with exceptional children. I think I have seen them somewhere before I just can’t remember. That was until their fairies came into view. They were the ones who beat me at the prison site before the great firewall came up. The fairies users were more open about their feelings. They wanted a war, but Elder Jessie was lying. I do not understand why he is trying to play the good guy, but he wants the war more than anyone. He wants to show me off to the world and keep his slaves in check. As I watch the events, I understand why they don’t trust the two people the Shadow has chosen. IF the shadow wanted real peace talk why wouldn’t he use people that actual care about peace? Why did he just put forward the strongest people both sides have?

This was nothing but a game to these people. Even if I didn’t want peace, these guys made sure it wouldn’t happen. They make demands that the other's side would never accept. This was a poor showing to both sides. As I these guys debate and manipulate each other. I can see why the shadow would pick these four for this assignment. They would destroy any peace agreement if someone else has succeeded. This was horrible, but I continue to the end. Nether side could claim they wanted peace, or they tried to fight for it either. Even Elder Kyle showed his true colors here. The man I respect most acted like a child just to keep this pointless battle going. They want the fairy users under their thumb and can’t wait to use to me. So, I can put them back into their place.

Therefore, I really didn’t want to fight for Elder Jessie. I knew he only wanted me as a tool, but I have a reason for wanting revenge. Even if I know revenge is bad but I cannot have them run around killing anyone that they might proceed as a threat. I cannot become like Elder Jessie or Elder Kyle. They were desperate because of slavery; I understand this. I know Erica would beat me over the head if I ever forgotten it. But I cannot let go on how they killed my parents and almost killed me. How should I handle them? They are humans like us even though they have different abilities. What should I do with them? The show ended with both sides confirming there will be a war. Once the meeting ended, I was back at the Elders station at the school. I look at Elder Jessie with all the anger out of my eyes for now. I need to think about how to handle this situation.
