My stomach starts to rumble, my brother as well. The dragons look at us and sighs. “You didn’t feed the children, ****?” the shadow stops his chair and looks at the dragons, “um I forgot. Yeah I know for sure they didn’t eat last night and this morning.” “Look at them ****, they are skin and bones! Why are they missing meals!? You want us to train skeletons!?” “White one-stop yelling this is ***, we are talking about of course he forgot something as simple as this. **** take these human and get them something to eat and come back after you are done.” The shadow snaps his fingers and we appear in a huge cafeteria where there are different smells all over the place. “Wow this place smells amazing.” My brother starts running looking at all of the different foods. “What should we get? There are so many choices how can anyone choose?” Hercules starts rubbing his chin, “well we live forever, and got used to most of the food here so there isn’t anything I would really recommend.”
“How long have you guys been alive?” “I have stopped counting after a million years. I know both Emily and goldfish are older than me.” “Yes, man I have no idea how old I am but I do hold the record for the longest time for not going crazy, by a nongod. It was around 2 million years.” Wow, they are an old wait. “What do you mean? People here go crazy?” “Yes dear, all of the time. Going crazy is one of the absolutes of being an immortal. You go choose your food and eat you are nothing but skin and bones.” She pushes me to a line. They were serving hamburgers and fries. It smells delicious. My brother was already sitting down eating his food. He picks up some kind of chicken and was eating it with a yellow sauce.
I got the special from the menu it was a burger with fries and it was delicious. Wow, I never tasted anything better in my life. Our teachers each pick a meal and sat down beside us. The shadow is still flying around in his chair. Unlike my brother and me, everyone else was eating their meals peacefully while my brother and I were destroying our food. My brother gobble down his food after I wish finished with my meal; I ran and got what he got. It was simply amazing. No, wonder people couldn’t choose everything here was so tasty. “Wow, does all of the food here taste this great?” I ask Emily while I was stuffing my face. “Yes, my dear the shadow has collected some of the greatest chiefs the multiverse has ever seen. The problem is that after a while it gets boring no matter what you do or eat. I have eaten all of the food here at least a million times.” “The same with me but also I have tried some really crazy stuff. I have eaten all of my body parts.” My brother looks like he was going to throw up. “You own body?” he asks. “Yes, we get bored and most of us have to do some crazy things to keep you sane. That and it eventually you want to do something crazy now and again.”I look at them horrified and ask “You guys talk about going crazy how long does it usually last?” “It depends on the person, but most people stop being crazy after a few hundred years.”

The shadow hovers above us. “They do crazy things all of the freaking time. They rebel against me! The dumbest thing you can do.” I look at everyone. They all turn their heads even the quiet one goldfish. “Hey why didn’t you guys want to rebel when I ask?” Hercules starts searching his head “well we just had a rebellion only like 100 years ago. Anisa and the shadow work together to make fun of us in our latest rebellion.
Anias is never here and one day he shows up saying he is tired of the shadow and had a way to kill him. He shows showed the smartest people on this ship a blueprint and they look at it and thought this was a weapon that can kill the shadow and free us from this prison. Turns out it was only a game. We did everything in our power to beat the shadow just for him to survive the attack and for that spider to row on the ground laughing. It was awful. Or punishment the shadow gave us a winning. Ugh, I hate being treated like a child.”
All of the people start rubbing their butts. It was a sad sight. “Little girl wanting to rebel is a good feeling but for us, it hasn’t been long since our last failed rebellion.” “Wendelin, we have god-like beings here as well. They can do things that you wouldn’t think is possible. Yet, all of together makes no difference between us and the shadow. We are nothing but ants benefit his feet. You guys are lucky, you not only have his protection but also none of you are going to be subject to this torture.”
I look at the shadow who was still flying around, “how can you do this to these people!? Why are you such a monster!?” The shadow got out of his seat. “HAHAHA once again I am a god and the rest are nothing but ants. Didn’t I already do this speech already?” He looks at my brother with an evil smile and he starts nodding his head. “Yes, so what don’t you get?”
“these people have done nothing wrong and yet you force them to work for your amusement. Stop this. What would it take for you to let this person go?” “THE END OF THE MULTIVERSE! Living forever is so freaking boring. They have lived for a few billion years for the oldest. I have lived a trillion times that. Comparing me to them they are so young it would be like comparing a universe that wouldn’t start for a billion years to a universe that has restarted 100 times. They have no right to complain to me about age. Most people want to live forever heck everyone who died here wish to live longer and had regrets. I satisfy their wishes.” He snaps his fingers and disappears.
“Wow, you really made him mad. You are lucky you are his kin. I think he would have made one of eight for ten days straight while he made everyone else watch.” “Leave her alone her, she is still very young and from the look of it really religious.” “She has a different fire than the rest of us. We came here with regrets or wanting to prove something. She is very determined in a different way. She isn’t like us. She might become someone very big without our help but I doubt she would die with any regrets even if she died before she achieves her own goal.”
