Now showing up, then vanishing, to show up again seconds later, Maranam and the two panthers kept advancing through the Forest of the Barefaced while the Master of the Underworld felt as if burning inside because everything seemed not to go its normal way or as he wanted it to go, and that failure was felt as if it was a sharp knife that was hacking him inside, making him badly bleed.
Also while their image was blinking in that forest as if it was a light about to fade, the same happened to the forest, and at the moment Maranam and the panthers vanished for a few moments from that place, they have been seen advancing onto the swamp's surface later as if it was hard soil, and this was possible because the master and the servants of the Underworld had a special feature, different from the Titans - they were rarely influenced by earthly events and phenomenons which could subdue them, and one of those features was that they could make the swamps and the dark places be submissive in front of them.
They stopped, however, at the moment the swamp has been set on fire by Mayar's power when she threw her fireball over the water's surface and ignited it, and, at that moment, all over that swamp, hungry flames were dancing, filling the horizon with black breathing of smoke.
Then… they heard the pan flute: it was a shriek at first, something that entered deep into their bones while hearing it, making them shudder inside and want it to stop. But… in the end… that screech didn't stop but made the two black panthers take a human body and two young women have been seen by the world.
And they were extremely beautiful, having dark olive skin and black eyes that seemed lit embers, long hair that was falling in beautiful, black waves up to the heels and undulating on their backs while they were walking like true felines behind Maranam.
But… unlike the Master of the Underworld, who seemed calm and whose eyes were slowly moving on the orbits while looking around as if he was a mouse sniffing the horizon while looking for the cunning enemy, the Evil Virgins were covering their ears with their palms, pressing them as hard as they could just not to allow that shriek drill their brains out. Yet, their torture was cruel because that shriek was unbearable and this made them scream eventually as if they were demonic birds, screaming in the night while telling others that that night will be one with a lot of victims and bloodshed.
„Quiet!" Maranam suddenly yelled, really bothered by their screams and laments, and his yell also made the forest vanish, and they finally remained on that soil made from the swamp's water, surrounded by flames from all over.
Yet, his companions didn't keep silent - they only lowered their voices and the screams have been heard as muffed sounds while they were with their eyes closed, with the palms covering their ears, bending sometimes to the ground when they felt that they couldn't stand anymore and bare that shriek that was entering deep into their brains as if it was a drill.
„I said quiet!" Maranam shouted again, looking round and glancing with hatred at them, something that made the blood freeze in their veins, and, so suddenly, they took back their panther's bodies.
But they continued with their eyes closed and gnashing their teeth because that pan flute sound was heard louder and louder because... right after Maranam had shouted, the pan flute, which was heard at first as if being so far away from them, started to be heard closer and closer with each second passed as if it was a lighthouse that was rotating on its metallic leg, sending its light till far in the distance and bathing everything into a cold light.
Yet, even if Kurūcim and Koṭumai kept silent eventually, Maranam continued to hear someone screaming, and that lament, which was heard like a cry that was coming out of the chest of a person that was tortured, made him so suddenly shudder and close his eyes. And, at that precise moment, he heard swords striking each other. And those weren't only a few swords, but many swords... hundreds... or maybe thousands. Then he heard the screams of those that were madly fighting, but he couldn't see images. Why? He also didn't know why.
And… he heard those shrieks that were deeply entering his brain again, and this made Maranam shudder like any other normal person… with all his body… as if he was only a simple human, whom the night caught up with while being in a strange place where he had no idea about the dangers that could lurk on him.
Even so, he didn't give up and yelled again: „I said quiet!" And he once again gnashed his teeth without opening his eyes. Yet, he turned his head toward the two panthers that looked thunderstruck at him, not understanding why did he scold them that time.
But the confusion that was seen in the panthers'eyes made the surroundings also keep silent somehow. Yet, something deep inside the panthers started to move as if it was a worm, and that's why they looked at each other, wondering about what that feeling could be - fear? Cowardness? The desire for supremacy? Or maybe... dread?
Eventually, when they finally could control themselves, Kurūcim mumbled while staring at her master's back, who eventually turned his back on them again: „but… it wasn't us who screamed, master!"
Her answer enraged Maranam, however, who suddenly turned toward them again, furiously looking at them while they were standing in front of him as two women and not as panthers, still looking thunderstruck at him and not understanding why he was so mad with them. And, while they were looking at Maranam, he could see their beauty reflected on their swords'blades, whose top was touching the upper part of their breasts that were seen blossoming through the thin material of their dresses while being supported by a corset made from hard leather.
And the two women were really beautiful even if they were evil, having a beauty that was outlined by the reddish light of the flames of hatred that were dancing on the swamp's surface. But… how couldn't they be beautiful when they have been created by Maranam namely to deceive the humans'glances and also be pleasant to the eyes of their master, to whom they were submissive for centuries or maybe millennia already?!
Yet, not only the flames that were dancing around them made them seem charming, but also their vestment was making them be really beautiful, and that beauty was given by their dresses that were tailored from a brown material similar to leather, up to half of the hips. Also, their silhouette was squeezed by that black leather corset that was making them seem as if having a wasp waist, and this was because of those many thin belts seen all over that corset, whose round buckles had different etchings on them, etchings that weren't visible if not looking from close at them. Yet, those etchings were representing the story of past battles, of times long ago forgotten, which were still there, influencing the present. Also, all over the dresses, thin strings were seen, especially on the sleeves of the dresses that weren't longer than half of the shoulders, about four fingers put together, and, right where the sleeves ended, an armlet was seen.
The jewelry seen on the right arm was the color of the emerald, something that gave a specific charm to the two women as if they were princesses or beings of noble birth, and all this because of those braiding which were seen on the material and which had different forms, reminding about royalty and greatness.
Also, they had, on their feet, sandals also made from belts or strings that were wrapped around their feet to make their move easier. Yet, even if those sandals were simple, they were handled tastefully and were completing the dresses thus, accentuating their beauty.
Yet, even if the two seemed to wear similar dresses, something was still different about them - the color of the dress and of the armlet because while Koṭumai's vestment was bright brown with an aquamarine bracelet on the right arm, Kurūcim's dress was tailored from a dark brown cloth, sometimes black almost, and her bracelet was dark emerald. Even so, they had something else different, those armlets - right in the middle of them, horizontally, a curved line could be seen: red on Koṭumai's bracelet and black on Kurūcim's because even if they served evil generally, yet, they were still influenced by Fate and especially by Life. Otherwise… they wouldn't have breathed or existed, and nobody ever would have thought about bringing them into this world.
Eventually, when he could finally see that something was weird there, Maranam asked: „not you? Then who?"
Kurūcim, still staring into Maranam's eyes, suddenly started to walk toward him, at all bothered by his eyes that seemed lit embers at that moment, murmuring: „maybe is Life?" And the young Virgin suddenly stretched her right hand in front and formed, above her palm, a small Palantir, which had the same color as her bracelet, an armlet that actually vanished somewhere when that Palantir has been formed by her. And… that sphere had not only the color of the bracelet but also the line from the middle, black, that seemed to split that Palantir into two as if it was the equator of Planet Earth. Yet, the Palantir created by Kurūcim was somehow blind because only dark blue clouds could be seen on it, sometimes purple when the flames were growing above that water. „I'm sure that this damn soil, which we walk onto now, is just an invention, like this planet where Fate brought us when it should have taken us to our beloved realms Īṭaṉ Ellaiyaṟṟa (Infinite Eden).
„You're wrong," Koṭumai suddenly murmured in a strangled voice, something that made Maranam and her sister stare at her in amazement.
But when they looked at her, they saw her forming a sphere similar to the one Kurūcim had formed above her palm. Yet, this one hadn't a dark emerald color but a red one as if it stole the color of the flames that kept dancing around them. And that blue curved line from the middle betrayed the fact that what she created wasn't a fireball like the one created by Mayar, but a Palantir. Also, when she took her glance from the Palantir and looked at Maranam and Kurūcim, they shuddered because they saw that her eyes had the color of fire, the color of death, and more when they heard her saying: „we are also cursed to die eventually," and a kind of controlled hatred has been felt in her voice.
However, even if her voice sounded natural, it didn't deceive Maranam, who cooked his nose eventually and squeezed his fists, making even the surroundings scream how he wanted to scream at that moment. Then, gnashing his teeth, he snarled: „Life!"
After his snarl stopped echoing around, all over around them, they saw wolves'eyes blinking in the night. But those wolves were on guard there and not hunting. Even so, those wolves kept staring at Maranam and at the panthers, not losing sight of them.
Namely this lurk made Maranam yell again: „don't be a coward! I know you're here, just as you'd been in that forest, not long ago when you tried to deceive me, telling me that the Path of Life and the Path of Death will be one eventually."
„Really did I try to deceive you?!" Life's voice has been heard floating around him. Yet, they couldn't see her anywhere. Only the wolves'eyes got a material form and they have been seen by Maranam and by the panthers in all their splendor.
But there weren't only black wolves there but also white ones, similar to those seen by Sephir underwater when she and Samaya fell from the boat, controlled by the deceiving glance of Laṟṟa. And… those wolves seemed to be there because of someone who had summoned them there and who they were waiting for, but not to hunt, but to make Maranam and the panthers stop, for there was a talk to be finished, a conversation which Maranam had interrupted in the forest when he went on the back of his horse Vakkurti.
„You won't give up, do you?" Maranam gnashed his teeth again and turned around to look at each wolf's face that was staring at them. „What this time? A new prophecy?"
„No. I just felt that… I missed you," Life said.
Her answer made Maranam guffaw. „Did you miss me? Don't make me laugh, Vāḻkkai! Do you think I'm that stupid to believe such stupid things?"
„Why? Does it seem ridiculous to you that two spouses long for each other?" Life asked with a feigned surprise in her voice.
„Absolutely!" Maranam hissed through his teeth. „Let's not forget that it wasn't us who chose to share the same Fate. It was Viti (fate) the one who forced us to accept and share everything."
„Yet, it hasn't been everything in vain. Let's not forget those souls that brought us together for eternity: Ōnāy (sunset) and Mātam (moon). Our children. Those who have you killed while dreaming about immortality, Maranam," and who roared this time has been Life, and her scream has been heard all over, even by that purple sky that was cracked by fire arrows called thunderlights, something that made the flames around them dance, even more savagely than before, and this also helped Life to take back her previous body, even if it has been for a short time only.
Thus, it has been seen that Life was tall, with blue eyes and blond, long hair, that was falling in soft waves on her body. Also, she wore a garment that reminded the world of the Japanese kimono, tailored from materials of different colors. Thus, Vāḻkkai reminded Maranam that she was really beautiful, even if she was 40 already, the same age Maranam had, for Viti brought them to life the same day and gave them the reins of the world that existed once - Īṭaṉ Ellaiyaṟṟa, the Planet considered the Eden or the Planet where everything started and ended.
But while Vāḻkkai had been satisfied only to be mother and wife, Maranam thought differently - he had dreamt about supremacy, from the shadow, surrounded by darkness, and this happened because Viti didn't give them both the same features and characters or the same feelings and this was because only Viti was capable to have both Darkness and Light in her body, and when she gave birth to Vāḻkkai and Maranam, her soul split up too and Good and Evil have been also brought into Cosmos and all over.
Yet, Life's roar didn't bother Maranam or impressed him, for… he was used to her manner of doing things. But what he didn't take into account was that when someone hurts a mother's children, she turns to be a tigress because even kindness has a trace of darkness and that darkness awoke in Vāḻkkai's soul at that moment, allowing her to show up in front of Maranam while having her previous body, which Maranam had taken from her when he took her heart out of her chest, turning her later into a Tree, Yggdrasil's twin because Yggdrasil wasn't anybody else at that moment than Viti, and she took that wooden shape when she decided to give birth to her children. Thus, even Fate forgot about herself and accepted another role, Yggdrasil's role, being only the tree of Life and Death in the end.

Slowly shaking his head while his pinky was shaking his left ear as if trying to chase some buzzy away, Maranam ironically said: „and we are listening to the same old story again. Only… nothing new, nothing impressive this time. But… I won't say that I didn't miss you, dear wife. Thus, I won't ever forget about my eternal hatred for you and about my eternal desire to kill you once and for all," and Maranam finished his speech in a yell, and he pounced on her, trying to grab her by the throat.
However, halfway, he felt that he has been the one squeezed by the throat in the end, and when he looked at the one who was pressing his throat, he saw Parca, looking with hatred into his eyes. Actually, who was squeezing Maranam's throat, was Patavi in fact, the one created by Vāḻkkai, the good half of Parca. Thus, seeing her, Maranam murmured barely heard: „you…!"
Patavi instead seemed not to hear him or at least it seemed that she wasn't eager to listen to him. That's why she was pressing with all her strength on Maranam's throat as if trying to finish his life there and maybe to end her sufferance too. Yet, she has been forced to release him when she has been attacked by Kurūcim and Koṭumai. Thus, to defend herself, Parca split into two - Patavi and Irkā, whose mind was controlled by Vāḻkkai at that moment, just not to allow Parca's malice to play a prank on her on that imaginary battlefield.
But what Vāḻkkai didn't take into account was the fact that before entering the battle against Parca, the two panthers threw their Palantirs up, which had floated in the air by then, threatening to swallow each other.
Yet… even if that view wasn't something Life liked, it was something Death wanted. That's why he cunningly smiled and, snapping his fingers, the Palantirs exploded and unified in seconds only, and their extraordinary force swallowed and dragged them into a world that existed once, but which vanished a long time ago - centuries or maybe millennia ago - Eden.
***
Darkness. And again Light. Water, and later the ground has been seen at the horizon. And… when the Sun and the Moon finally appeared in the same sky at the same time, their unified light bathed the Middle Lands of the Antic Planet Īṭaṉ Ellaiyaṟṟa or Eden in a warm shinning.
Yet, those soils were barren, formed from hardened ice at the bottom and sinking sand on the top, something tricky, something scary, because only this way that place known as Maṇṭalam or the Land of Life and Death could look like.
„It can't be!" The Moon suddenly murmured, frightened, and winced. „It's impossible what we are seeing now, brother!"
„No, it isn't impossible!' The Sun answered confidently, but a certain preoccupation has also been felt in his voice. „This Land will swallow us all eventually, and this world will vanish too," he added, seeing Maranam and Vāḻkkai standing right in the middle of that Land, and, between them, created by their unified power, a huge black sphere could also be seen.
That sphere had been black only at the beginning, being controlled by Maranam's tricky power, a huge power born from his hatred and from his infinite desire to bathe everything in shadows and in the pitch of the night. Yet, Vāḻkkai's pure soul was something that always fought against death. That's why, very soon, that sphere has been colored half yellow, a golden yellow, and half black while the center of that sphere was formed from two lines - a blue one and a yellow one, with two sharp tops, similar to the top of an arrow. But those tops, after they finished surrounding the sphere with their thin bodies, stopped one on top of the other and headed in opposite directions, a hint that Life and Death won't ever agree on something.
„This is what you planned, isn't it?" Vāḻkkai suddenly asked her husband, feeling pain in her soul and a kind of controlled hatred at the same time.
Maranam instead cunningly smiled, finally taking his palm off the sphere, which he considered finished. „Of course! And… as I promised - this world will belong to me!"
„But… why?! Ōnāy and Mātam were also your children! Why did you have to subdue them when you could have them by your side?!" Life shouted again. „How can a father…?”
„I never wanted children!" Maranam cut her off. „Who decided this had been you and Viti, and you did this thinking that you'll control my will thus and will make me submissive, that I'll always listen to you. That's why you gave birth to two children with opposite powers - the Sun and the Moon. But… what you never thought about was that what you planned as being my defeat will be my crowning in fact because I have the necessary power to control this world now!" And Maranam slapped that sphere, making it powerfully resound as if he hit the cloth of a hug drum.
Thus, the sound made by that slap made even the horizon resound, accompanied by the noise of the mad fire that was burning everything in its way because, after that slap, Eden started to burn, controlled by Maranam's fire while everywhere in that ancient world, black and white wolves were fighting with Maranam's monsters, those who he created in the deep underground, far away from Vāḻkkai's sight, who believed more in Light and Kindness, but who had been blinded by Darkness eventually.
And… her faith brought her to her knees eventually when the big black wolf, or at least what was left of Ōnāy, after his father took his power, completely burnt on the white marble balcony of his palace because he decided to die in that world together with his people. Thus, while he was dying, he looked into Vāḻkkai's eyes, who was crying his death. But, eventually, she left that world along with Parca when she touched Yggdrasil's trunk, that leafless tree that was half burnt by that fire. And, behind them, that world vanished too like millions of fireflies.

Maranam, the one reflected on the Palantir's wall, the one created by Kurūcim and Koṭumai, who were floating at that moment one above the Palantir and the second one under it, vanished like burning ash, and this gave the real Maranam the chance to turn back to the real world while a painful sigh has been heard exiting his chest. But that sigh wasn't because he regretted what he did in that far away past, but because a lance, that pierced his body and his heart, killed him eventually, taking his body and his face, and sentencing him to live forever in the underworld, faceless while feeling unbearable pain in his chest as if there was something that was still burning inside him.
„It can't be!" He murmured feverishly, touching his chest and falling to his knees while supporting his body with the other palm. But… even if he thought that his hand will sink into that water, he has been so surprised to feel something cold on his palm. And… unwillingly, he squeezed his fist and his long nails scratched the swamp's surface, leaving deep traces on it.
But… something caught his glance, forcing him to bend more to see what was hidden under that very thin ice, formed from swamp water, water that shouldn't have ever turned to ice actually. And… when his glance could finally see through that pitch surface, Maranam saw a story hidden there - the gates of a cell opened by someone, and the bars, that surrounded that evil soul once, vanishing, burnt to the ground by hungry flames. Then, that someone, with a shining diamond on his forehead, climbed on Vakkurti's back and left that lifeless glade in the gallop of the horse, leaving deep traces on the dried soil. Yet… Maranam couldn't see himself there, and this made his heart pounce in his chest, more when he heard Eris's devilish laughter floating all over that world made from swamp water, on top of which he was kneeling at that moment.
And… namely Eris's laughter made him feverishly look for her in that swamp. But no matter where he didn't look, Maranam couldn't see anything, for it seemed to him that that world only showed him that Mannar will be released and Eris will triumph, nothing more.
„No… no… no!!!” Maranam yelled, outraged when, lifting his glance and focusing it on the sphere again, he saw himself burning, just as he had died in that world called Eden. But that time he was headless, somewhere in the lap of a green and beautiful forest, and who decapitated him has been Mannar.
But… it was something weird with that image because Maranam saw the same thing Samaya and Mayar often saw in their dreams. Yet, in their dreams, they were the victims and not Maranam. That's why he felt confused, for who sent those dreams to them had been him. At that moment instead, seeing that image reflected everywhere because it wasn't seen only on the sphere's walls but everywhere on the swamp's surface, Maranam felt that he was losing, that Life was about to defeat him, and that feeling wasn't definitely the feeling he wished he had felt because he always thought that he was invincible and immortal. But... it seemed that he had been wrong.
That's why he shouted again: „Vāḻkkai! Where are you? Show up!" But Life wasn't there and this seemed weird to him, for Maranam still felt her there. „I know you're still here! Somewhere near me!" Maranam screamed, outraged, finally standing up even if he kept staggering to his feet for a short while. Then, crazy, he looked around: „I don't think that you gave up so easily and you thought that only by using these tricky images you'll defeat me!" But again nothing was felt or seen around. Only the noise of the flames and the music of a pan flute were heard all over, and that sound was heard louder and louder, making Maranam often close his eyes and shake his head.
He winced instead when he heard a devilish cackle. And… when he looked at the sphere again, he saw Eris's face reflected on those walls, and also on the swamp's surface. „You!" He finally snarled. „I should have imagined that it was your game in the end!"
„Why?” Eris whispered hissing words, something that made Maranam feel irritated. „I thought that I'm just a useless power for you, someone closed in a faraway cosmic cell. Or maybe… I'd been wrong?"
„No. Not at all! It's exactly what I think!" Maranam whistled through his teeth, staring into her eyes of fire.
„Yet… I feel you're scared!"
„Me? Scared because of you?" And Maranam laughed. „Keep dreaming, Eris! Or what, do you really think that the Master of the Underworld, the one meant to lead this world, will be scared by someone like… you?"
„Master? You?" Eris asked in disbelief. „The one who should keep dreaming is you, Maranam, for this world belongs to me, just as the world's throne is also mine. That's why… wait for me because, very soon, we'll see each other. And then… you'll see who Eris really is!" She shouted.
Yet, her words only sketched a devilish smile on Maranam's lips, who stood up eventually and, playing with a small hunting knife, which he took from his girdle and whose blade he was so insistently looking at, he could see Mayar's and Samaya's faces reflected on each of the knife's blades. That's why he grinned: „you're welcome to come here! Whenever you want! If you can, of course! But… be sure of one thing, Eris!"
„Of what?” She said, suddenly turning to be very curious. And, as if approaching her face from the lens of a camera, her face became bigger than before.
„That you won't ever be reborn from a human being that'll live on this planet, and I'll take care of this by cutting the head of the one you consider to be your body on earth now!" And, as if having a huge sword in his hands and not only a small knife, Maranam suddenly moved his hands through the air as if „decapitating" someone.
But his movement only split the sphere into two, which turned into two small Palantirs again, to later turn back to the two women's arms in the form of bracelets while they continued unconscious on the ground, not that far from Maranam's legs. And when the bracelets have been seen on the two women's arms again, they turned into panthers but kept lying on the ground at Death's feet - of Maranam.
***
Watching behind Maranam and his panthers, who were rushing to leave that place: he - on the back of Vakkurti and the panthers on their own feet, Mayar cunningly smiled while a small fireball kept floating above her palm while fading off.
„Well, I could finally see the famous Maranam! The scary one! The one who can make the horizon shudder only by hearing his name."
„And you're right!" Mayar heard Life's voice to her left.
Yet, this didn't scare Mayar. She didn't even grimace as if hearing Vāḻkkai's voice talking to her was a daily routine. But, after a few seconds, she turned her head and looked to her left the moment the fireball from her palm was the size of a grain only, which suddenly „melt" and entered her palm. Nevertheless… she has been so amazed to see that Vāḻkkai wasn't any more that beautiful lady she saw not that long ago and that she had a transparent body at that moment.
„Who are you?” Mayar asked Life, amazed.
„Vāḻkkai!” Life said, smiling, and she finally looked at the girl. „The one who saw the end of Eden and the birth of another heaven."
„But… why?”
„Because there was too much hatred there already, where we lived then. There was too much death and no place for Life!" Vāḻkkai added and her voice turned to be sad while a painful sigh has been heard coming out of her chest.
Mayar smiled instead as if she didn't believe what Life said, and this amazed Vāḻkkai a lot. „I thought that's something more in this story," the young girl murmured, and her words amazed Life even more. „You probably wonder why," and Vāḻkkai, the transparent one, slowly nodded yes, „because this world is also lost, just as your Eden is. But we are too blind to see it now."
„No, it isn't lost yet!" Life said confidently, but still in a low voice. „There's nothing lost here yet, just as there's nothing ended yet. And… I wish I had thought differently then, before being too late for us too and before turning our Eden to ashes."
„Yet, you can't turn it back!" Mayar confidently said.
„Do you think so? I mean… are you sure that what I want is to revive the previous Eden?"
„If not… what then?”
„What I want is exactly what you want - Titans, humans, Spirits, and Magic beings - freedom and a new chance to live."
„But… to have it we must defeat Maranam first," Mayar said.
„That’s right.”
„But… there's still the question: how to do that?"
„Just as you also saw - the image Eris showed to Maranam."
„Decapitation!”
„Right! That's why, Mayar, it's time to fulfill your role in this war, and the destiny you must fulfill is to be Eris's body on this earth. Help Mannar escape from that cell."
„Yet… if I do that, it means to sentence earth and to put it at Eris's feet."
„Not if you do this in a smart way!”
„Like?”
„You're the only one who can find this out, Mayar!" Vāḻkkai said, touching the girl's chest, and, as if having a medallion hanging at her neck, Mayar saw the key, the one she saw in the fountain, which was the second element meant to open the Gates of Aeon!"
„It can't be!" Mayar murmured when she had the vision of Tarther, the small one, which lead the People of Noear to death, and, behind him, like a huge tattoo on his feathers, Mayar saw the key, beautifully shinning while it was bathed by the sun rays, which suddenly showed up between Maranam's black clouds. „Does the minikin have the key?!"
But when she looked to her left, she couldn't see Vāḻkkai anymore, and this amazed her so much. That's why she looked to the left and to the right, trying to see Vāḻkkai one more time, but she only saw the two Parca, frozen, as if waiting for something. And, seeing them, Mayar murmured: „Deceiving the Fate!" And her murmur unified the two Parca again. Yet, when Parca passed by Mayar, she didn't even glance at her as if she wasn't aware of what just happened there.
Mayar, however, didn't follow Parca right away: she waited for a few moments more, looking behind the Titanide of Fate, who was walking onto that water as if it was hard soil, just as Maranam had done, and without even looking back.
„Fate is blind! Just like this world is!" Mayar thought, still touching her chest and „caressing" it this way as if she had that imaginary-key hanging at her neck. Yet, she followed Parca when the Titanide stopped and looked back, scolding the girl by glance for not following her. This, however, only sketched an ironic smile on Mayar's face, who followed her eventually, „showing" her submission this way, even if she wasn't submitted by Parca's spell anymore.
