Noelle's response was calm, showing no sign of surprise.

Oliver fell silent, his eyes fixed on her.

Noelle finally couldn't hold back and threw the file in her hand at him. "If you have something to say, just say it. Keep staring at me like that, and I swear I'll fire you."

"Mr. Freeman didn't do anything back then. He didn't even try to suppress or clarify those negative

rumors.

"Everyone thought he was guilty but turns out, it was part of his plan all along. After all, Amity Group has been around for decades, and there are certainly quite a few old-timers with questionable connections. "With this move, Mr. Freeman had managed to carry out a major overhaul within the company. "Now, Amity Group is basically filled with those loyal to him. I heard that the others had a feeling something like this was going to happen, so they tried all sorts of ways to get on Mr. Freeman's good side.

"The most straightforward method was sending women his way, which is why Mr. Freeman suddenly started dating Lana. So, now that everything's settled, he just dumped Lana.

Noelle didn't know where Oliver had heard all this information. But as she listened to his analysis, she realized it all made sense. However, Hendrix had never told her any of this.

"Still, Mr. Freeman is really ruthless, huh? He doesn't even have any qualms about using his own mother's incident to his advantage," Oliver couldn't help but remark "How could someone who's that heartless not succeed?"

Noelle said nothing.

"Do you think after this overhaul, his net worth could-

"Leave," Noelle cut him off.

Oliver, who had been speaking with great enthusiasm, even forgot to address Noelle with respect. So, when he was suddenly cut off by Noelle, he felt his words get stuck in his throat.
