After explaining the circumstances to my sister, she had agreed to help, though I am pretty sure she had an ulterior motive for doing so. But anyway, I was easily able to covince mom, with my sister backing me up. The story we had made was that Trichia is Yuko's cousin and her family had died in an accident. She lost her memories due to the shock and Yuko wanted her to live in a familial environment so he begged me, his only friend, to help her. Well, this is just the summary. What we actually told mom was filled with a lot more sentimental stuff like "The poor child has no where else to go" and "she was abandoned by all her other relatives" and so on. It seemed to be TOO effective since mom had been wiping her eyes with a tissue continuously during our story. By the way, Trichia was sleeping while all this happened. She suddenly declared she was sleepy, a little before 8 pm. So I had led her to my room upstairs and tucked her in bed. And just for clarification, I had slept in the guest room. Anyways, I thought that she might be out of power so I called Yuko to ask him what to do.
"Don't worry, she has a self charging system." said Yuko.
"Self charging?" I asked back like a parrot.
"haah.. Do you really want me to explain?" Yuko asked with a sigh.
"ah, that's alright." I replied with a wry smile.
"By the way, I'll send Maria to your house with Trichia's clothes early in the morning. There'll be a school uniform in there so get her changed and bring her along when you come."

"What!? She's gonna enter our school?" I asked another question.
"No. She's gonna repair the building."
"Repair?" I asked yet another question.
"Of coarse she's gonna attend school! Don't you even understand sarcasm?"
"Wha? How was I supposed to know you were being sarcastic? You speak in such a monotone voice!"
"haah.. Whatever. Just make sure to not be late."
*kachak*
And just like he said, Maria came to deliver Trichia's clothes in the morning.
*knock knock*
I woke up to the sound of someone knocking.
"yaaaawn..."
I got up and opened the door but no one was there.
(weird. I'm pretty sure I heard someone knocking)
I closed the door and turned around and..
*knock knock*
(is it coming from the window?)
*knock knock*
"I'm coming!"
I moved over to the window and opened the curtain. Maria was standing there. I opened the window and she just handed me a large bag and left, without saying a word.
(Why didn't she just come from the front door? Was it to not disturb my family?)
I realised it was quite dark outside. I looked towards the clock and it was only 2:30 in the morning.
("she'll come by early in the morning", eh? Haaah... I don't even have enough energy to react to it.)
And with a thud, I collapsed on the bed and pulled over the soft blanket on top.
