In reply to his heartache, Xiao Mei simply gazed at him with a terrifying calm, "Because I don't want some overly emotional brother following me around, someone who will embarrass me without fail," her voice was incredibly scathing and a smirk slowly spread across her face.
Seeing this, a slight ringing started in Fang Xiong's ears and his vision started going black around the edges. Slowly, the shredding pain in his chest slowly spread to his stomach where he started to feel nauseous because of what his sister was saying to him.
His breathing became shallow as he felt if he took in too much air he'd throw up or pass out.
"Sister, why...? Why are you doing this...?" the pain in his arms didn't matter at the minute, the feeling of nausea making him feel like he wasn't present in his body. He clenched his fists and flexed his arms as he held them at his side, trying to keep the blackness of his vision from taking over and him falling unconscious. His voice was strained and, surprisingly, full of emotion.
For a second, a glimmer passed through Xiao Mei's eyes but it was but a glimmer and was soon replaced with the seemingly permanent coldness in her eyes, "Because like I said, I don't need to have the pressure of looking after you, Fang Xiong. You're weak and I can't afford to shelter you."
A shuddered quaked its way through Fang Xiong's body and his eyes were wide open. All he could hear right now was the blood rushing through his veins and his heart beating strongly, progressively getting faster and faster.
He thought about all the times he trained to stand next to his sister's side.
He thought about all the times he spoke to her, laughed with her, ate her cooking and simply spent time with her.
He thought about all the times he reminded himself that he needed to be strong enough to protect her pride, and as he looked at her scarred face, he couldn't help but feel a build-up of anger and hatred. Those scars were proof that he was weak and wasn't here to protect her.
All of these thoughts were happening in his head at an incredibly rapid speed and to the outside, they only thought he was stunned from what his sister had said to him, plus the scars on her face.
The feelings that were building up in his chest seemed to affect his Ki even more than before, the yellow Ki becoming even more berserk and rushing around his Ki Veins even quicker and in denser amounts than before.
"Why won't you let me help you, Xiao Mei...?" Fang Xiong choked out as his already bloodshot and wide eyes seemed to get even more bloodshot, "I just want to help you...can't you see that...?"
Xiao Mei scoffed at his emotion-filled voice, "I'm going to give you 5 seconds to renounce your ties to me, Fang Xiong. I don't need useless people being tied to me after all."
Fang Xiong's shallow breathing was getting ragged and heavy now, his body flexing and his joints cracking and popping, "Why...!?" Fang Xiong started walking toward his sister once again.
"Answer me!" he roared as he sped up his walking, "WHY?!" his voice echoed strongly throughout the food hall and most of the people, no matter their strength, found themselves recoiling from the utter rage they heard in the shout.
Xiao Mei didn't seem affected by the shout, she just rolled her eyes and walked to meet his walking charge, "Because you can't help me. You're weak, Fang Xiong, how many times do I have to say it?"
Hearing her call him weak seemed to dig into his heart and force more feelings of anger to build up in his chest which started to drive his Ki even more berserk.
The rage slowly changed the blackness in his vision to a red screen and his Ki started flooding into his body even more fully, seemingly breaking some kind of limit. Once this limit was broken, Fang Xiong shot off from where he was and charged at Xiao Mei.
The ground cracked deeply with every step he made, the vibrations told everyone in the surrounding that he was using every bit of his strength in every step.
"RARGGGGHHHHH!" Fang Xiong couldn't find any other way to release the pent up feelings in his chest, other than to let out a primal roar. Everyone looked at him and started to look for signs that he was a half-Kin.

Xiao Mei just continued calmly walking toward Fang Xiong. She clearly didn't want to waste any more energy than was necessary.
It didn't take long for the rampaging Fang Xiong to reach her and he drew back his arm to punch her. Xiao Mei seemed to be having none of that and simply stepped into his range and sent a quick punch into Fang Xiong's diaphragm, winding him.
"Urgh!" Fang Xiong stepped back a little, before wheezing for air. But this attack only seemed to fuel his anger even further and he stepped forward again and started to punch her again.
This process repeated itself, with Fang Xiong not really being able to hit her and Xiao Mei constantly hitting him in different kinds of incapacitating ways.
But no matter how much she hit him, he would go down. She was sure she'd broken plenty of his bones, torn plenty of muscles and ligaments and he had bruises and cuts all over his body but he just kept fighting.
No, in fact, he was actually getting faster, stronger and more precise in his attacks as they fought. His aura also got thicker and thicker with bloodthirst and rage as time went on.
In Fang Xiong's perspective, he'd completely let go and let the instincts he'd been holding back for all his life free. He was in complete control but the form also took a bit of control and guided him to whatever was making him angry. He could stop fighting his sister if he wanted but that's the thing; he didn't want to.
He kept pushing himself harder, to prove her wrong, to show her he wasn't weak. But he couldn't even land a hit on her and she was completely toying with him and all of this only added to his anger which flared his Ki and allowed him to push further past his limits.
But as the fight went on it was inevitable that some teachers would arrive. Weirdly enough they were the redhead and big bald man who tested him earlier today.
They arrived after some complaints about fighting in the food hall and arrived to see a shining star of a student, Xiao Mei, fighting one of the new students. After asking a few students around them they discovered that this was a family dispute.
The redhead stopped the bald one from intervening as she spotted instantly who Fang Xiong was and she wanted to see what he could do. The bald one asked her why she wanted to do that and she explained why, shocking the bald man with a tale of the punching machine incident.
By now, Fang Xiong was pushing Xiao Mei to her limits without Qi helping her and she looked quite annoyed with this.
"This is getting pathetic...Time to end this, Fang Xiong."
After she said this, Xiao Mei flared her Qi and seemed to disappear from where she was once again. Fang Xiong's instincts and senses were incredibly keen at the moment and he heard someone whisper something about a Martial Skill being activated.
But he didn't have time to think about what a Martial Skill was or did he even want to; he felt wind movement behind him.
He turned around only to see nothing and then feel a hand near his tail, "Xiao Mei, don't---!"
His vision went black for a minute while the nerves throughout his entire body flared in the most intense pain he'd ever experienced.
Slowly, his vision returned to him and he found himself lying on the floor with a foot placed firmly between his shoulder blades, "Renounce our ties, Fang Xiong. Do it now."
Realizing what happened, disbelief flooded Fang Xiong's mind. She'd touched his tail, no, she'd tried to crush his tail! As he thought about this in a mental rage he couldn't help but remember a memory of when Xiao Mei first accidentally touched his tail when he was 5 and she was 8.
He'd frozen up and went into a seizure of some kind before falling to the floor. When he woke up he found Xiao Mei crying and sobbing heavily, muttering about how she was sorry and how she didn't mean to hurt him.
After he got up he felt pretty humiliated but seeing her sincere apology, he let it go, and she also vowed to never do that to him again, so he trusted her.
Back in the present, he felt like something in his heart had shattered. It was hope. Hope that his sister was putting on an act, hope that she'd remember their promise and that she'd never humiliate him like she did back then.
But now it was gone, crushed into nothing.
Now all Fang Xiong felt was pain, sorrow, and rage. His chest felt incredibly hollow and the feeling of nausea was back.
"...My sister, the sister I knew and loved, died today. How could I have ties with her anymore...?" Fang Xiong's voice was hollow and seemed slightly lost as he pushed on the ground with his hands, completely unsettle by being made to lie down.
Xiao Mei shook, very briefly, but another glimmer went through her eyes. These glimmers seemed to be intense emotions getting through the cracks. Whatever these emotions were, no one knew but one could guess from her actions that they could possibly be hateful ones.
She slowly took her foot off of Fang Xiong's back and leaned down to pick him up by his neck, "Teacher, please take this 1st year to the infirmary, if you wouldn't mind," she then tossed him at the redhead teacher who was watching from the sides.
The redhead caught the thrown boy and looked between him and Xiao Mei in pity and sadness before she nodded and walked away to the infirmary.
Fang Xiong lost consciousness from this point onward. The hollow feeling in his chest had sapped all the feelings building up in his chest and taken away his inexhaustible and berserk Ki which was the only thing keeping him conscious.
The redhead felt some of the residue berserk Ki and was even more intrigued by this new student. She thought about it for a while before deciding that she and her husband would give him a little help when he woke up.
