Inside the wooden dome atop the massive tree, the fierce battle between our heroes and the giant blue bird raged on. Each of them harnessed their unique magical abilities to face the formidable creature that emanated a bright blue aura.
Enrique, wielding the power of Asura's Armament Dominion, leaped at the bird's side, ready to engage. However, the bird swiftly summoned a giant wall of ice to protect itself. Undeterred, Enrique delivered a powerful blow, creating a massive crater in the ice with web-like cracks extending from the impact. Pulling his fist back, he shattered the ice barrier to pieces. Yet, the bird retaliated, rushing into Enrique and dragging him through the ice-covered floor.
Kai, utilizing his Mana cloak and shadow magic, appeared on the bird's back. With expert precision, he summoned dozens of shadow hands, grabbing its wings and pulling it upward. The tendril-like shadows yanked the creature down, creating a crater in the wooden floor of the dome that filled the air with dust. Extending his hand to help Enrique, Kai asked, "Hey, Enrique, you good?" Enrique, accepting Kai's help, replied with a grin, "Thanks, I'm good."
The giant bird roared, dispersing the dust in a massive shockwave that caused cracks to form all over the domes' icy floor and walls. Although Kai, Enrique, and Jean managed to stay on their feet, Ushin, lacking a Mana cloak, struggled to withstand the powerful shockwave. She had to channel more of her mana to guard herself from the impact.
With the bird now enveloped in a bright blue aura, Jean and Enrique sprang into action. Jean charged his Fire magic into his right fist, while Enrique infused his Heat magic into his fist. Simultaneously, they shouted, "Blazing Fist! Searing Fist!" as they unleashed a powerful blast of fire and a heat-powered shockwave at the giant bird, hitting it with tremendous force.
As the smoke cleared, they discovered that their attack had hit the mark, but the Giant Blue bird managed to form an ice barrier to block their assault in time, shocking them momentarily. Nevertheless, they quickly regained their focus and fell back to regroup.
Suddenly, the bird released a massive wave of ice spikes, hurtling towards them. In a daring move, Enrique rushed at the wave, channeling his energy into his "Scorching Pound Strike." With all four of his arms, he slammed the ground, sending an erupting shockwave that melted the ice spikes. However, due to the bird's powerful ice, Enrique's arms suffered damage.
Concerned for Enrique, Ushin asked if he was okay. He responded with a small grin and slight difficulty breathing, "Yea, I'm fine. My arms might be a bit broken, but I can still fight." His determination remained unwavering.
"Well, it's a good thing your arms still work because I've got a plan!" Ushin exclaimed, capturing everyone's attention as they all focused on her. Ushin, inspired to take charge, revealed her plan to her teammates. "The plan is simple: Enrique and I will rush at the giant bird at full speed, aiming to knock it out of the dome. Kai, you'll use your shadow magic to stop its movement with your shadow hands. And Jean, you've still got a lot of mana left, right? You'll handle the firepower for now!"
With determination, Jean replied, "Yeah, I've got plenty of mana left. So i can take care of the firepower!" Accepting his role, he readied himself for the forthcoming battle.
"Alright, everyone, let's fry this damn turkey!" Ushin shouted, igniting the enthusiasm of the group. As the adrenaline surged, their auras intensified, signaling the beginning of their well-coordinated plan.
With everyone's spirits high and their auras intensifying, they began the plan. Enrique, with Ushin on his back, covered himself in a Heat aura. Ushin used her lightning magic to temporarily boost his speed and power, propelling them straight toward the bird with incredible force.

Approaching the bird, Kai used his shadow magic to launch a barrage of shadow slashes from his daggers, distracting the giant creature. Taking advantage of the momentary distraction, Enrique, with Ushin still on his back, crashed into the bird. The impact was so powerful that it smashed through the strong wooden wall of the dome and the thick ice, sending all three of them tumbling out.
Kai, with his shadow cloak boosting his agility, leaped toward the bird, firing nearly two dozen shadow hands that grabbed its wings. He exerted all his strength, pulling the bird down and smashing it into the tree, creating cracks in the massive trunk. Despite slightly damaging one of its wings, the bird quickly recovered, leaping off the tree and flying in front of the dome.
Enrique, using his strength, kicked the air with immense force, launching himself and Ushin into the air. With two of his arms, he struck the bird, breaking one of its wings. But before he could follow up, the bird's counterattack sent him flying. Ushin, seizing the opportunity, leaped off Enrique's back.
Amidst the chaos, Ushin's thoughts wandered back to a heartwarming moment with Zero
"Ushin, I know you're still awake," Zero whispered softly, ensuring not to disturb Enrique, who was peacefully sleeping in the adjacent room of the old man's cabin. Ushin lay on their shared bed, her head resting on his lap, pretending to be asleep.
Curious about her father's perceptive actions, she asked, "How'd you even know I wasn't asleep?" Zero responded with a gentle smile, "It's simple. I could hear you talking to yourself about how you wished you could be a better fighter." He affectionately rubbed the top of her head as she sighed, acknowledging that he had caught her thoughts.
"Yeah, I did say that," she admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed. "But how could you even help? We don't have time to train right now, and you said we have a mission tomorrow so we can buy some things, right?"
Zero reassured her with his caring demeanor, "Well, I can give you this to help!" He conjured a shimmering orb made of mana and gently placed it into her chest, surprising her. Ushin managed not to scream, careful not to wake up Enrique, who was only a room away. "What was that?" she whispered, glancing out of the window.
"That was a piece of mana I gave you. When you need power, just summon it," Zero explained. Grateful for his thoughtfulness and love, Ushin hugged him tightly. Zero embraced her back, cherishing the bond they had formed in such a short time.
"Thanks, Dad," Ushin said sincerely, feeling the warmth of their growing father-daughter connection. Zero smiled and replied tenderly, "You're welcome, my dear. Remember, I'll always try to help you." With those comforting words, she returned to the present, Ushin aimed her hands at the bird, summoning a large amount of dark red mana.
She unleashed a powerful beam of lightning magic that slammed into the giant blue bird, pushing it into the wooden dome of the massive tree. Suddenly, they heard a slashing sound, and the massive tree began to slowly fall. Despite her body being pushed to its limits, Enrique swiftly caught Ushin.
Observing that Ushin was safe, Jean saw that the giant blue bird was stunned. Channeling a massive amount of mana, his aura expanded, eclipsing the dome. With a mighty roar, Jean unleashed "Flaming Surge: Ignition Burst," a colossal torrent of flames that vaporized the entire wooden dome and the top half of the falling tree.
As the flames faded and Jean began to descend, Kai caught him with one of his shadow hands. They gathered by the side of the tree, taking a moment to rest and recover. Jean used his flame-healing spell to mend his arms, while Enrique conserved his energy by deactivating Asura's Armament Dominion.
Curious about Zero's whereabouts, Jean asked Enrique about their friend. Enrique's grin widened as he pointed upwards. Looking up, they beheld a massive crimson storm with red lightning and crimson flames flowing out of it in sparks.
Ushin confirmed that it was Zero who had created this colossal storm. They were awed by its size, but Having expended much of their strength in taking down the giant blue bird, they now had to rest to regain their lost stamina and mana.
"What type of monster is that guy?" Jean marveled at the sight of the storm. Ushin proudly replied, "That's my dad!" They decided to watch and await Zero's reappearance, trusting in his abilities and knowing that whatever he faced within the storm, was clearly strong but wondered how long was that battle going to last.
