The life of a Soviet bio-weapons designer Dr. Vladislav Kerenski [Slava] ends with a bang as he destroys Aralsk 7, a Soviet secret virology research town which is evacuated in 1992 and abandoned due to the collapse of USSR.
Vladislav spends an indeterminate amount of time in the Astral Ocean, where he absorbs the memories of dead dryad Leemy and her creator, Agromancer Kopusha.
Escaping from an Astral Phantom called Mother, he is reborn in a small mountain village called Skyisle and discovers that the System underpins the development of all life in a fantasy-world Novazem where magic rules supreme.
Using the scientific method and his knowledge of history, administration, fractal mathematics, virology and biochemistry he attempts to understand and utilize everything around him including the nature of magic and the System itself.
He creates a magic spell called the Infoscope to observe Skyisle and its people before he is even born.

As a blastocyst, Dr. Kerenski develops and experiments with magic, creating spells like Infoscope and NeuroVista, which enhance his understanding of his surroundings and memories respectively.
He learns about his parents, Alana and Georgi, their occupations, and their village, Skyisle. He also discovers the existence of a twin sister in the womb with him.
Dr. Kerenski hears his parents discussing danger from blood elks and a dragon. His mother, Cassandra, later confronts these threats, assisted by her husband and the villagers.
Within the Church of Equality, Giovashi Incandictia Skyisle summons the power of goddess Ishira to repel a dragon attack. Dr. Kerenski grows suspicious of Ishira and Giovashi's manipulations.

Tamara Agatha Skyisle (midwife) twins! Dante and Delta become friends and hide their true levels from the Equality Overseer. Dante uses his Soul-Song skill to modify his stats. Delta reveals she contains the memories of three individuals [Slava, Leemy & Kopusha] and fears that they are part of an experiment by the gods of Novazem.
The 9th Skyisle Overseer, 17 year old Kliss Eliza Cessna, armed with [Armacus 88] discovers inconsistencies in Dante and Delta's birth records. She confronts the midwife Tamara Agatha Skyisle, who admits to hiding an aberration in childbirth. Kliss fines Tamara instead of executing her.
Dante and Delta discuss a giant hole in the Astral sucking experience and magic, and contemplate fleeing Skyisle. They plan to spy on a skyship during math class at the church. Dante aspires to revive the village using his theory of Technomagica.
Kliss knocks out Dante and Delta's parents, Cassandra and Georgi, accusing them of hiding an aberration. Cassandra reveals she had a prophetic dream about her daughter bringing ruin, which was prevented by a ritual performed by the priestess Giovashi Incandictia. Kliss also reveals a prophecy involving Delta and Skyisle's doom.
Kliss places tracking collars on Dr. Kerenski's parents, Georgi and Cassandra, to monitor their actions. Kliss also warns Dante's parents to reconsider their loyalties to Ishira, a rival Goddess. Kliss, feeling lonely in her position as Overseer, finds Dante and Delta camping near the old ruin. She struggles against her Vow compelling her to kill the siblings, and instead grows jealous of their companionship. The siblings decide to reveal more about themselves and offer aid to Kliss, forming a newfound team dynamic.
Dante and Delta consider ways to deal with Kliss' Vow without causing harm to her. They discuss various attributes of the System and the nature of souls, while Dante explores the magical properties of the Mystic-Willow-Oak tree. Dante and Delta plead with Dante to extend the lifespan of a Novazem bee [Ogonek], leading to a discussion about the bees' collective consciousness and telepathic network. They agree to meet Kliss at the Fox and Fiddle pub to discuss saving Skyisle.
Dante and Kliss encounter Arch-Priestess Giovashi Incandictia at the pub, who uses her magic to interrogate them about their intentions regarding Skyisle. Kliss is compelled to make a new vow [Frenny] to protect the Alan family.
Dante's soul is removed from his body by Giovashi, leading to his experiences in the Astral Ocean where he gains new memories from Klint Klondike Tricameron / his grandfather Keps an Arcanicx who is killed by Giovashi 1000 years ago.

Dante escapes from the Astral Ocean into the physical world. Dr. Kerenski finds himself in a desert where a smallpox outbreak has occurred. Dante is consoled by Delta.
Dante returns to his 12-year-old body with Delta's help, who reveals her Astral Hunter identity. Kliss now has conflicting Vows that make her both a protector and a threat.
Dante and Delta get into an argument over Delta's soul-eating habit, but Dante recognizes their similar experiences and contemplates the need for a clean and renewable source of power.

Dante and Delta, after battling astral ants, discuss the life cycle of the ant queen. Returning to their tower base, Dante employs a skill he developed called [Lucid Dreamer], which allows him to recreate and explore his vivid memories.
Delta infiltrates his dreams and they share experiences of Dante's past: a campfire in the Ural mountains, sailing under Kamchatka's volcanoes, observing farmers at work, and joining a May 1st parade in 1950's Moscow.
Dante successfully pulls Kliss into his dream using his [Vow-Breaker] skill and [NeuroVisa] dreamscape, a cafe in Moscow, to provide a brief reprieve from her Vow-bound state.
Dante and Delta interrogate Kliss, who initially expresses anger and mistrust towards them.
Kliss reveals she despises the Empire of Equality for their control over her life through Friendship Vow and admits her desire to be free and return to her parents in Cessna.
Dante takes Kliss and Delta on a tour of Moscow in his dreams, where they explore iconic landmarks and try local foods.
Dante creates a device, the [Vow-Breaker], which jams the connection between the Vow and the user's brain and tests it on Kliss, disrupting the control of the Vow of Friendship.
Kliss alerts Dante to the arrival of the Imperial Inquisitor Jubz, and Dante gives her a necklace and sends her off to meet him.

Kliss learns from Jubz that her hometown, Cessna, was attacked by a dragon and her family perished. She plans to go home to Cessna.
Dante speaks to Leemy, a Dryad, who has been rejuvenated with soul shards. Leemy tells Dante about her past, her abilities, and her survival after the destruction of Tricameron.
Dante plans to assist Leemy in renewing her strength to decontaminate the radiation in their area so that Skyisle can bloom once again.
Dante meets Ignatius, the new Overseer.
Dante tricks Ignatius and agrees to manage Skyisle for Ignatius in exchange for a small salary.
Dante initiates an Unbreakable Vow that lets him temporarily become the Administrator of Skyisle, a role given by Ignatius Oavion Cessna. He devours the Vow from within, replacing it with his own soul shards. Dante then discusses his plans with his parents and Delta, which involve revitalizing Skyisle, improving wards, and finding another Elder Alan in the major Imperial cities.

Spring and the first storm
The spring of 8062 comes to Skyisle valley.
Dante and Delta planning to explore a lake for gold and artifacts and develop a printing system using fire bees.
Cassandra receives a letter from a supposed ancestor, introducing an fake elder [Archmage Delta] an armored woman made from ants and bees, a ruse made by Dante and Delta.
Dante and Delta build a hovercraft and grab the dragonheart engine from crashed Basq glider in the Silent Glade.
Dragon Aradia returns to Skyisle, attacking a skyship. Dante uses Skybreaker, a modified dragonheart to suck magic out of the area to bring Aradria down.
Dante and Delta find dying Kliss on the crashed skyship. Dante merges Kliss with a Aradria's soul, giving her new abilities and turning her into a chimera.

Kliss adjusts to her new abilities and life as a chimera as Delta takes care of her.
Dante dreams of a surreal Moscow with spires topped by rotating, red stars that provide false happiness and peace to the populace. There, Warship Roraima hovers over New Moscow, and the god-like entity Wizard Revolution broadcasts updates and propaganda. Dante enters the Ministry of Magic, interacts with Wizard Revolution's etching, and meets Archmage Zariya Grimmaldri to discuss the success of a happiness program.
Kliss confronts her dragon instincts and learns to manage them with the help of Slava and Delta.
Kliss is renamed as Elisabeth Johannes Kepler from Oz.
Dante introduces Assembly Theory to explain the nature of the Astral Ocean and is working on creating a supermassive Rewind hexagram beneath Skyisle using Leemy's roots.

Dante gains villagers' trust as Bishop Delta by growing a giant Vitality tree in the center of town.

Kliss destroys Giovashi's obelisk in the catacombs beneath the Fox and Fiddle pub, enhancing her powers with the gold from it. She remembers more of Aradria's life.
Dante brings Leemy into NeuroVista dream to talk to her and convinces her to be claimed by Kliss as a kobold. Kliss also claims Delta's soul as kobold.
