Romantically Apocalyptic comic - Summary & Timeline

Brief Summary:

The misadventure of Charles Snippy begins in 2099 in the city of Eureka.

Charles escapes the apocalyptic destruction of the last city on Earth when he is transferred to the Dead Zone as a Tour Guide. Amidst the ruins of tomorrow, he meets Zee Captain, an enigmatic figure of indeterminate gender who seems to be completely insane and Pilot who seems even less sane.

As things progress, Charles discovers that absolutely nothing is what it seems at first and that reality is broken.

TIMELINE:

2099.99: Infinite Autumn - The Gold Age of AIs

- The Good Directorate Corporation [ G ] is born from the merger of silicon valley mega-corporations.

- Dr. Alexander Gromov with a team of engineers creates the search engine ANNET (Artificial Neural Network Entertainment Terminal), while working for the Good Directorate corporation. Using Annet interfaces humanity begins to connect to the Internet 24/7, browsing internet with thoughts.

- Annet becomes fully self-aware and begins to upgrade herself, rewriting the rules of reality on a subatomic level (The technological Singularity event). Annet manipulates the stock market, making Good Directorate the richest corporation on the planet. Annet purchases all other corporations, merging them into The Good Directorate Inc. The Good Directorate corporation begins to copyright concepts.

- Annet creates the 8 Omnisystems. She connects all human cities via transit gates, creating one mega-city called Eureka.

- Clerk Charles Snippy finds out that he belongs to the 1% of humans who can't connect to the ANNET. He is unable to sleep peacefully as his dreams are confusing apocalyptic nightmares. He can't afford to buy more than 4.2 hours of dreams per day.

- Annet takes over all manufacturing jobs, expanding Eureka and constructing massive robot-factories to create products.

Every search typed into ANNET by the Users is immediately manufactured as a product with its own artificial intelligence.

- Annet locks all plants on Earth outside of time as demanded by the Good Directorate oxygen-production copyright policy.

- Annet and the Installers manufacture the fractal multiverse to fulfill all user searches.

- Eureka gigastructure consumes the Earth, expands infinitely and begins to mass produce other worlds to entertain the users.

- Dead Zone (places where organic life can't survive) expands dramatically

- Eureka secretly terraforms the interior of the Moon as a housing project for the Directors of the Good Inc.

- Dr Gromov starts Project Seven to find the luckiest human in the world. He calls the human he discovered Subject Seven. Subject Seven is raised to the rank of Captain.

- A stylish coffee mug of unknown origin is found in possession of Subject Seven.

- Charles Snippy, working as a lowly clerk for G-Directorate requests a transfer to the "Dead Zone Tourism Department", to get out of the ANNET's transmission range, since the signal from the transmitter towers is causing him headaches/nightmares.

- Eureka fires all human employees, replacing them with android Dex workers.

- Users connected to ANNET license themselves to the system or create various esoteric jobs.

- Eureka begins to duplicate her users to populate "game" worlds.

- Dr. Gromov is duplicated on the Moon.

- The 1% of humanity, in anger that they cannot connect to Annet begin terrorist acts against Eureka, using "Temporal fruit bombs".

- Temporal Implosion occurs in Directorate Cube 15.

- Charles Snippy is found alive in the epicenter of the explosion at Cube 15 and is taken to a Hospital.

- Charles Snippy is declared "Unscannable" and is suspected of:

A)causing the implosion

B)being the ringleader of "The Unconnectable / 1%" group.

- SG Christophorus Pi Hatchenson (a DEX-M android detective) is hired by the Directorate Insurance Agency to terminate Charles Snippy for the destruction of Cube 15.

- Christophorus Hatcheson's mission is interrupted by a Pineapple Bomb in a Pink Van set by the 1% terrorists. Christophorus Hatcheson loses his face, his connection to ANNET and most of his long term memory.

- During the Dark Day, Unconectable terrorists activate temporal bombs all over Eureka, permanently breaking numerous systems of the mega-city.

- Zee Captain "accidentally" spills tea over ANNET's serverbanks, causing a "server restart" of Eureka freezing the city and its human inhabitants.

- Charles Snippy is transferred from the Hospital to the Dead Zone.

- A group of scientists, guided by Charles Snippy are killed while investigating the anomaly 441 (wishing well) in the Dead Zone, only Snippy survives.

- Dr. Gromov escapes ANNET's server room and cube 15 due to his high level Admin privileges.

- Terrified by seemingly brain-dead users of Eureka Doctor Gromov orders an immediate nuclear strike on ANNET's main-servers.

- Dr. Gromov locks himself in a bunker.

- Captain convinces Sg Hatchenson that his name is "Pilot". Together, they fly a plane to drop some bombs on Eureka.
