In fact, once the skills are recognized by the system, all you have to do is mentally think of the name of the skill to activate it. Because it's the system that takes care of activating the skill.
After a certain level of comprehension we can do it without the System and from this moment it will mean that we begin to understand the skill better.
There are two ways in which a skill can stop working:
The first condition is that the person using the skill decides to stop it on their own, in which case they may suffer a backlash depending on the skill's difficulty. The second condition is that the person activating the skill no longer has the strength to make it work, and it will stop on its own.
For the skill to improve, you need to develop your own knowledge and launch it a good number of times.

Time seems to slow down as he hears only the sound of the wind in this cave. He also smells the earth, which he appreciates for its sweet yet powerful scent.
The "Magic Sense" skill enabled him to acquire senses specific to living beings, such as hearing, taste, smell, touch and sight, in exchange for energy. As senses consume a lot of energy, Rock was only able to test this skill in a short space of time.
While using the [Magic Absorption] skill, he felt his body fill up with a bit of energy. The previous fatigue associated with using energy to test his skills began to diminish.
