Chapter 8: First Complete Transformation

Chapter 8: First Complete Transformation

"Pay no attention to Eric. Use your fists, and he'll soon back down, son, that goes the same for you too Eric"

Ethan stepped up, putting a hand on my shoulder in a show of support. "That's right," he grinned. "Don't underestimate our little brother. He's got some serious power."

I close my eyes, bracing myself for my father's inspection, fearing that he might uncover the System. However, a reassuring voice echoed in my mind, "Host does not need to worry about him discovering the System. Your father will only see what you want to show."

As my father's hands landed on my shoulders, I could feel his incredulous gaze fixated on me. "This can't be!" he exclaimed in astonishment, before bursting out into laughter. "Hahaha, my son is a genius! You possess the affinity of Creation, an affinity that leads to divinity!"

My mother chides my father, "He was always a genius, David! remember that he's still a Royal Moon Wolf and now that it's awakened, it's hard to tell whether he's a genius or a monster" She looks at me with love and pride. "Never get arrogant, Damien. Regardless, you're now set on a path to greatness."

My brother Eric sneers, "Hmph, so what if his affinity is creation? He's still a cripple. After I reached the Spirit Core Rank, there's no way he can beat me."

I stride purposefully toward the elevated square ring in the middle of the training grounds. "Come on then," I taunt Eric. "Let me show you who's the real cripple."

Eric followed me to the elevated square ring, a smirk playing on his lips. "You're not even worth my time, Damien," he said, cracking his knuckles. "But I'll humor you."

My father instructs us with a stern look in his eyes, "Boys, stop when one of you admits defeat, understand?"

My mother also warns, "Boys, don't harm each other. David, I'm watching you. If any of my sons get hurt..."

My father scratches his head and gazes at me and Eric. "Don't worry, dear. Now go before Raina throws a bigger tantrum."

"I don't plan on killing him yet, Mother," I smirk. In my mind, I request the system to display my status.

"I hope you don't ever kill him, Damien. I'll be with your sister if you need me," she scolds before walking away.

I close my status page and I get into a fighting stance clenching my fists.

"I won't use my Arcana power, Damien, just my Wolf" Eric sneers and with a crunching crack of his bones he transforms into his massive silver quadrupedal Werewolf that growls at me with menacing glow in its eyes.

"I don't want you saying l bullied you" He snarls and circles around me like a predator watching its prey.

"I'll be fair and do the same brother" I smirk at his daring arrogance.

I close my eyes to feel the flow of Arcana Energy coursing through my veins, allowing me to connect with my wolf and its feral hunger for violence, distruction and chaos, triggering my transformation with painful crack that changes my skeletal structure.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

A powerful surge of energy pulsed through my body, and I let out a deafening roar as the change began.

My skin stretches and twists as a thick layer of dark blue fur erupts from every inch of my body. My bones crack and realign themselves, elongating as my legs grow muscular and powerful, easily supporting my newfound height of 12ft. My fingers and toes lengthen into razor-sharp claws, and my teeth sharpen into lethal fangs.

As I re-open my eyes, they glow with a fierce blue light, reflecting my wolf's predatory but calm nature. I towered over my brother, my massive form exuding raw strength and primal ferocity.

I couldn't help but let out another ear-splitting howl, reveling in the power and majesty of my transformed state.

Eric's eyes widen in surprise and a hint of fear as he gazes up at me. He may have been bigger and stronger before, but in my werewolf form, standing at 12 ft tall, I am a force to be reckoned with.

"Let's do this," I said, my voice deep and rough with my wolf's growl.

Eric lunges towards me, his massive silver form a blur of fur and fangs closing in with startling speed, I feel a surge of adrenaline course through me. My instincts kick in, and in that split-second, I react. With a primal roar, my own claws meet his oncoming attack, the collision echoing with a bone-rattling impact. His teeth, mere inches from my face, are deflected, and the force sends him sprawling across the dueling ring.

I can sense a mix of surprise and frustration in Eric's growls as he crashes to the ground, but his resilience is clear as he swiftly regains his footing, his growls echoing across the training grounds. He glares at me with unwillingness to back down.

My eyes narrow with a fierce blend of determination and uncontainable bloodlust as they lock onto Eric. In that pivotal moment, my heart pounds in my chest like a tribal drum, my breaths coming in ragged bursts. The transformation has unleashed something primal within me, and I can feel the raw power coursing through my veins.

As the adrenaline surges, I dash towards Eric with a display of supernatural speed and strength that leaves even myself in awe. Every muscle in my body is alive with electric energy, propelling me forward like a force of nature.

In a heart-pounding blur, I lean sideways with lightning reflexes, narrowly avoiding the deadly jaws that snap hungrily towards my neck. The near miss fuels the fire burning within me, my instincts honed to a razor's edge.

In an instant, I seize Eric's massive throat in a bone-crushing chokehold, my claws sinking into his fur and flesh with relentless determination making him roar in pain.

With my chokehold maintained, Eric deploys his immense strength and agility and attempts to buckle me off by arching his back and forcefully kicking his hind legs, trying to dislodge me from his powerful body.

I brace myself against his thrashing, clinging tenaciously. In response to his kicks, I focus on my balance and shift my weight to maintain my grip. His claws scrape against the floor, as he struggles to break free.

Eric then makes a cunning move. He twists his body to the side while still on all fours, attempting to roll over and crush me beneath his massive form. Instinctively, I release my hold and roll away just in time, narrowly avoiding being pinned beneath his weight.

As we circle each other, our eyes lock in a fierce stare, and a surge of power courses through me. The Arcana energy within me was responding to my wolf's wild nature, amplifying my strength and speed.

"So little Damien can fight, hmph, is that all you got ?" Eric goads me with disdain.

I let out a deafening roar and charged at him with renewed vigor. He meets me head-on, claws extended, and we collide with an explosive force that sends shockwaves through the ground.

Our claws and teeth clashed with a metallic ring, the sound echoing through the training ground. We traded blows back and forth, each hit landing with bone-crushing force.

-Ethan and David POV-

Ethan and David stood there, their eyes fixed on the intense battle before them, their breaths held in anticipation. The display of power and ferocity by both combatants left them utterly awestruck. Especially by Damien's power. In just one day he went from being sick to utterly destroying his older brother.

"That's some impressive fighting," Ethan's father remarked, his voice tinged with admiration as he watched the savage clash between his sons unfold.

Ethan couldn't help but beam with pride, his confidence in Damien's abilities shining through. "Yes, but Eric is no match for Damien's wolf," he replied confidently, his eyes locked on the battle. "Look, he's about to land the finishing blow."

-Damiens POV-

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, I see an opening. With a powerful leap, I tackled Eric to the ground and hold him there with a powerful grip, my claws digging into his fur and my fangs inches from his throat.

"Admit defeat," I growl, my eyes ablaze with blue fire. As my Aura pressures him into submission.

Eric looked up at me, breathing heavily. After a moment, his eyes blaze with unwillingness but ultimately he admits defeat.

"I...I give up," he says, his voice strained.

I released my grip on Eric's throat and staggered to my feet, my body pulsating with a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration. Every muscle ached, and each breath came in heavy gasps, but the victory had a sweet taste. I had emerged triumphant from the brutal contest.

As I reverted to my human form, a sense of profound relief washed over me. The power that had coursed through my werewolf form slowly dissipated, like a receding storm. My muscles contracted, and my bones shifted, gradually returning me to my human size and shape. It was a sensation I had grown accustomed to, the ebb and flow of my supernatural abilities.

My heart continued to pound in my chest, a reminder of the intense adrenaline rush that still surged within me.

Eric's body convulsed as he changed back into his human form, his ragged breaths the only sound in the still air. He looked up at me with a mix of anger and fear, his eyes searching mine for answers.

I felt the last vestiges of my wolf form fade away as I returned to my human self. Taking a deep breath, I locked eyes with Eric and spoke in a cold, but controlled voice.

"Your werewolf form may be strong, but it's not as powerful as mine. It's all in the bloodline, Eric. You can't compete with me." My words were infused with an air of cold confidence, my aura radiating dominance.

Eric's eyes flickered with rage at my words, his fists clenching at his sides. But there was also a hint of resignation in his expression as if he knew that what I said was true.

"Hmph so what if your wolf is powerful your Arcana level can't compare to mine"

"Is that so? give me 1 month and I'll show you"

"You-..."

Before Eric could reply, however, a voice booms through the training ground, interrupting our conversation.

"That's enough, boys."

My fathers commanding voice rings through the training ground, carrying a tone of authority that brooked no argument. He strides over to us, flanked by Ethan, his expression stern and unyielding.

"You both fought well, but you need to remember that you are brothers," my father continued, his gaze flicking between Eric and me. "You shouldn't be fighting like this."
