“From all the creatures I have studied and observed the 'Radiant Star Lion' was the hardest to get any information about. There are a couple of reasons to this. First of all, this thing is probably the rarest not unique creature on this planet. There are only three known RS-Lions on this planet and all of them belong to the Radian Star Empire.
The Empire uses those creatures as heraldic animals and even have one on their flag and emblem. That's the second reason I had so many troubles getting anything on them, the empire is really secretive with them and since the 'Radiant Star Empire' is the biggest and most powerful nation, there is no way to force them into handing out one of the Lions. So, the only things I figured out are second hand and collected from different people that claim they have seen and even interacted with those mighty beasts.
The RS-Lions are one of two different final evolutions of the 'Heavenly Lions'. The other possible evolution is the so-called 'Starfire Lion' who’s a lot weaker than the RS-Lion. Other than his much weaker brother, this species is incredible big. The rumors about its size differ greatly but it seems like it should be able to easily devour an Adult-Dragon with one bite. Its fur is mainly golden but it's mane as well as the tip of his tail have a soft white color. White feathers are growing on its legs and a big pair of wings are on his back. The eyes of a 'Radian Star Lion' are supposed to be silver just like the Gem that is within his forehead.
I couldn't find anyone that could tell me what this Gem is there for, but I found out that the Immortal Emperor is wearing one on his crown. It might be that he just wants to brag with this beautiful gem, but more likely there's some power within it.”

* Sirius POV *
A couple hours later everyone left. Saxin seems to be very exhausted, which isn't very surprising considering she had to talk and entertain our guests. No one seemed to care about me, they all just wanted to talk with Saxin. I really need to become stronger, no one should ignore me.
Saxin looks around and spots me in a corner of the big hall. She quickly crawls towards me. Is it strange that I find her crawling kind of cute?
“Fufufu What a day! Hm? Did you get presents dear? What's inside?” (Saxin)
I look at the three packages and then at the mountain of presents that were next to the table Saxin was sitting by.
“Hm? Are you upset you didn't get as many? Fufufu you can have them all if you want to dear.” (Saxin)
“No, it's fine. I was just surprised how much respect you get from those high standing people. Well from everyone expect that Demon King” (Sirius)
“Well, he still gives me some respect. The fact that he didn't kill Rodario and the others proves that.” (Saxin)
“Was that really a possibility? I mean we are speaking about an Ancient Abyssal mage, a Dragon and Rodario himself! Didn't he already kill one of the Dark Monarchs?” (Sirius)
“He did. He killed the Curse King. But only while said king was. Also, the kings all expect them demon one are weakened right now, but usually their strength is only comparable with beings like Ancient Dragons. The Dark Monarchs were once the most powerful alliance before they got taken down. Now only the Vampire Kingdom still exists.” (Saxin)
“What? In no book have I ever read something like that.” (Sirius)
“That's because the Radiant Star Empire made sure every kingdom and nation on this continent gets rid of stories that describe the glory of the Dark Monarchs.” (Saxin)

“I see. Well, their glory is gone now and it seems like they'll start dying out if this continues. It's not like new Monarchs are going to be born, right?” (Sirius)
“…” (Saxin)
“What's the matter? Why are you looking at me like this?” (Sirius)
“...Nothing, dear. Anyway, it's quite late. Shall we go to the bedroom and sleep?” (Saxin)
“I'm have been here for a month now and you didn't notice?” (Sirius)
“Notice? Notice what my dear?” (Saxin)
“I don't sleep.” (Sirius)
“Oh, right. Well want me to stay with you a bit longer?” (Saxin)
“Nah, it's fine. Go and sleep I have a lot of plans for tomorrow.” (Sirius)
“Plans? For what?” (Saxin)
“We got to start climbing up, right? Let's star by slaughtering some villages. I'll tell you my exact plan tomorrow.” (Sirius)
“Oh I see, you already want to start! Alright I'm going to rest now, I love you dear.” (Saxin)
“Erm, th- thanks?” (Sirius)
“…” (Saxin)
Saxin looks somewhat down as she leaves the main hall. I see three spots coming close to me as the fairies approach me. They are still here?
“Oh. My God!” (Rot)
“This was really bad of you my lord...” (Grau)
“Well you can't except him to know what to say. He doesn't have a brain after all.” (Schwarz)
“But still... poor Saxin.” (Rot)
“What are talking about?! I didn't do anything wrong? Right?” (Sirius)
I turn towards Doro who also walked over here by now. He shakes his head and tells me.
“Even Doro see that Master no idea how to treat lady. Mistress really unfortunate.” (Doro)
“Fuck you guys. Shut up, I'm going to take a look at my presents now.” (Sirius)
The others keep talking but I blend their voices out. I'm getting pissed. What really pisses me off though is the fact that I'm getting pissed. I shouldn't be angered this easily. It was the same this evening when the Demon King appeared. Since when do I get scared? And when I looked at Saxin while in front of the altar...
What was that feeling? It's like the flame within me stopped to immediately burn my feelings as soon as they pop up. I'm still pretty numb emotionally, but by no means as much as I used to be. At least I can keep my calm with the help of my passive. Though I would like to know what's the reason for this change.
Anyway, let's open the first present. I'm going to start with the biggest one. It's one of the two that were given to me by Jehova. I open the present and inside seems to be cloth? Oh, it's a robe! A pretty nice looking one as well.
The robe is made mainly out of a black material that glows a bit. There are some metal parts as well to give more protection. The metal parts are on the shoulders, waist, elbows and chest. The metal is dark grey or dark silver deepening on the light. Because of the metal protection on the waist and chest you can't open the rode and you have to get into them through the bottom. The robe splits apart at the waist into three strips of cloth which are all on the backside. There is even a hood on this robe, which is pretty useful.
Abyssal Robes (Shadow Version)
Powerful Robes made out of shadoweave cloth and abyssal steel by Jehova of the East that are usually only worn by his closest friends.
+10% INT; +30% Protection against magical attacks; +20% Protection against physical attacks
So, they don't only look good but are also quite powerful? Scratch that, they are very powerful! Well I guess I'm lucky to be a part of his club, huh? I wonder if the guy with the fat wife also got one of these. Well I'm really excited about the second present now!
I open the small package and am once again surprised to find what's inside. It's a staff!
A pretty powerful one as well judging from its dark and strong aura. The staff is made out of some strange black wood and mostly looks like a natural grown tree branch, except of the top part. There the branch splits apart into four claws that hold a dark violet orb. The orb glows faintly and is probably the origin of the sinister aura I'm feeling right now
Staff of Silence (Shadow Version)
A very old and powerful Staff crafted out of a Shadow Trent. Its core is a Orb of Silence made hundreds of years ago my a very powerful Magus.
+15% INT; +20% To the power of dark spells; Weapon Skill: Silence;
What? A weapon skill? Now that's rare. Only very few weapons are able to provide their wielder with an actual skill! Let's look at what it does.
Silence
Silences the area around you. The area of effect depends on your intelligence (+1 meter to the radius per 1000 intelligence) no sound can be heard inside the AoE and no one is able to cast magic unless it's chantless either, including the user of this skill.
No costs. Duration: 10 Minutes. Cooldown: 24 Hours.
Kind of strange to have a skill like that on a magic staff. Well, I guess it's still pretty useful, especially seeing how I can cast most of my spells chantless anyway. Now, only one present is left, huh? Let's see what this king got me. I take the small box and open it. Inside I find a... Stone? A complete clear white stone that is way too heavy for its size. What is it?
Stone of everlasting hunger
A very old Artefact of unknown origins. It's able to store an infinite number of items if they all belong to the same category. If mana is infused into it, it will automatically seek out items from the same category and absorb them by himself. The items can later be bought out by the master.
Current Master: No one. Current Item Category saved: none. Number of Items inside: 0
…
What? I'm kind of confused. Why was I given such a specific item? I mean it's pretty unique and quite powerful, but why? What am I supposed to do with this thing?
…
Actually, I have a great idea. Did he know what I'm going to do with it? He has to, right? But how does he know how I work...
Well let's prepare everything for tomorrow. It's going to be a great day.
