“It’s a lot harder than I thought. This thing is probably older than the stone I'm sitting on right now! Some seriously ancient magic was used in the creation of it and some seriously ancient magic will be needed to operate it. I may be one of the greatest mages of our time but I still have no idea what to do. I think I'll have to visit my grandmother...
My grandma is very studious when it comes to old things. She was the one that raised me and awakened my interest in magic! I'm sure she can help me out with this artefact since she knows a lot more about ancient magic than I do. I hope it won't be to awkward when I introduce my lovely wife to her...
Well, grandpa always called her an old dragon, so maybe they will get along just well? I don't think so though. The last time I bought over a girlfriend she burned her to ashes with some strange green fireball and told me to not go for weak bitches...
I don't think an old lady like her should use such words.”

*Sirius POV*
I think I know what an Aspect is now.
So basically, Aspects are very old ancient beings. They each represent one kind of creature as well as one of the magic categories of this world. Saxin as an example represents spiders as well as blood magic.
Because of that she seems to also be known as Saxin, Bloody Aspect of Spiders. That's a rather great title, huh? The Domain of an Aspect is always a representation of their soul which basically means that it's the place that fits their way of fighting best.
A very interesting skill. Aspects basically always have the best environment possible to them. Though I wonder what would happen if two Aspects fight each other?
But seriously, to think she was such a legendary being...
She has to be incredible strong, right? I wonder if I could win her over somehow and maybe she could become an ally. She did seem to be quite friendly with me.
Let's try to win her over!
*Third Person POV*
Inside Saxins Domain, a very heavy atmosphere was currently build up as the Bloodspider was staring down at the High Fae. They were just standing there not moving an inch for at least five minutes before Saxin decided to be the first one to attack.
Using her blood-magic she summons spears of blood out of the infinite sea around her and commands them towards the adventurer. Those enormous spears are at least ten meters long and as thick an adult mans arm. Each of them fly around in a speed most humans couldn't even follow.
The Fae is still able to dodge them by being even faster though. She's easily evading all of them while closing in towards the spider.
“Fufufu rather quick, aren't we?” (Saxin)
The Fae doesn't answer since she wants to completely focus on the fight. Evading another set of spears, she finally is close enough to go in for a hit. Her long spear starts to glow in a deep blue light as she thrusts it forward. Before the spear comes even remotely close to the spider it gets flung away by a big hand.

This surprises the adventurer. She didn't think Saxin had enough strength in her to block one of her attack just with the hands. Seems like she underestimated her a bit but she won't make this mistake another time.
Saxin grins widely as she summons hundreds of spiders made out of blood around her. The spiders quickly begin to crawl towards the Fae while Saxin quickly makes sure there is enough distance between her and the adventurer.
The Fae charges forward in order to not let Saxin get away from her but the spiders have already closed up on the Fae. They jump and at her from all direction and the Fae has to stop in her pursuit to block and destroy the spiders, but no matter how many she slays more and more seem to come from all around.
Meanwhile, Saxin readies herself for a grand spell while her enemy is occupied with all of her summoned minions. She wants to end this as quickly as possible so that she can return back to her small party and set things into motion with Sirius.
The blood around her turns black as she begins casting. Ripples are formed on the surface of the endless pool of blood while her body begins to vibrate. The black blood starts forming into small black spheres and float upwards slowly.
The Fae meanwhile managed to kill the last of those blood spiders and looks over to her foe. Cold sweat drips down her spine after she realized what the Spider Queens plan is. Quickly she runs towards her to interrupt the spell.
Saxin also notices that the Fae was able to deal with her summons a lot faster than she would have thought. But it should have already been too late for the Fae.
Saxin activates her grand spell and the black blood droplets in the air explode all with great strength around Saxin while not harming her.
The spell used by Saxin is 'Grand Blood Chain-Combustion' and whenever blood comes in contact with the small explosions, the blood explodes as well. Using this in her blood domain means an infinite number of explosions were set into motion that nobody could escape from. Of course, the explosions weren't really infinite in number since they would stop as soon as her mana ran out.
After a few minutes her mana did indeed run out and the explosions stop. While grinning Saxin begins to dispel her domain but then freezes in place.
“Y- you think that would be enough to get me?” (Fae)
Confused Saxin takes a look at her enemy. Not only is she still alive, but she also seems to be unhurt. Saxin notices blueish slime around the Fae and realizes what happened.
“Phase Shifting? I heard of that. That's space-magic, right? To think I have to deal with someone that learned from the Drizzles...” (Saxin)
“Hahaha! What? Bitter about wasting all of your mana, witch?!” (Fae)
“It's fine. It just means I have to kill you with brute strength, right?” (Saxin)
“What? You can-” (Fae)
Before being able to finish her sentence the Fae gets slapped across her whole body by a giant hand. She flies for about thirty meters before crashing into the sea of blood. Until now she was able to use her magic to stay above the surface, but now she is completely sullied with blood from head to toe.
Disgusted she stands up to face Saxin but the spider has already crawled to her position and once again slaps the Fae, this time from above.
The adventurer relies this too late, and Saxins hand hits her directly on the Head. The Fae sinks about forty meters into the sea of blood before being able to stabilize herself. Furiously she stares upwards while failing to notice that Saxin has already dived into to sea herself and is currently behind her.
She grabs the Fae who is surprised to not be able to have felt the spiders’ presence at all. Saxin grins at the Fae while opening he mouth to bite into her.
Panicked, the Fae threw her shield at the spider and hit three of her eyes with it. Saxin staggers a bit which is enough for the Fae to get out of the spiders’ grip and quickly swim up. The adventurer breaks through the surface of the sea and takes in deep breaths while quickly trying to calm herself.
That was close.
An enormous angry spider follows her through the surface as well and furiously starts hissing at the Fae. Three of her eyes were seriously damaged just now but the Fae lost her shield in return.
The spider once again charges forward to deliver another hit but the Fae saw it coming this time. She strikes with her spear in the direction she thought the slap would come from and pieces right through the hand of the spider.
While grinning, she activates a skill of hers and the spear starts to glow in a violent purple while the hand of the spider literally explodes. Saxin screams in pain as the Fae look at her with new found confidence in her eyes.
“Hahaha, what is it?! Is that all you got, Aspect?! Come on show me you are truly worthy of that title spider!” (Fae)
The spider takes a look at the adventurer with anger deep within her eyes.
“I'll show you what true pain means, mortal!” (Saxin)
They both knew that the fight just really started.
In the meanwhile, Sirius is walking towards the Red Orb.
“So what happens if this thing gets destroyed while the Domain is active?” (Sirius)
“It-t-t-t can't-t-t get-t-t dest-t-troyed! What-t-tever t-t-touches t-t-the orb will be send to the domain.” (small spider)
“Really? And how do you leave once you are inside?” (Sirius)
“Eit-t-ther t-the mist-tress dispels it-t or she get-t-ts killed.” (small spider)
“Wow, strong spell, huh? I could use one of those... though I'd guess you have to be born as an aspect?” (Sirius)
“T-that-ts right-t-t!” (small spider)
“Tch. Too bad, huh? I guess that only means I have to really try hard to win her over.” (Sirius)
“What-t-t did you say?!” (small spider)
“Hm? Nothing. But isn't she taking long? Why don't we go help her out?” (Sirius)
“T-the likes of us are not-t-t helpful...” (small spider)
“Tch. You may not be very helpful but I'm sure I can do something. Well I'm going to enter the domain. It's not like I have to fear for my life with an aspect on my side, right?” (Sirius)
And at that moment Sirius once again decided to ignore the bad feeling he had.
