Chapter 6 Kraven's First Kill/Fire Spiritual Body

Kraven having awoken from his slumber feeling completely re-energised looked to see how many slaves were left to test only about 5 of the slaves were left.

"How long was I asleep" Kraven asked not expecting a response.

"About 2 hours," Jason said.

Kraven turned his head to see Jason and James sitting beside him.

"What took you guys so long to catch up," Kraven asked

"You do remember that the group you came here with had to be tested right, who do you think had to do that," James said.

"Yeah if you weren't here I would have just left that to James since he looks that job oh so much," Jason said teasingly to James.

"It's not that I like the job it's just that all the times we've done this mission you ditch me as soon as we get the slaves back to the sect border fort area" James replied annoyed at Jason's remarks.

"Border fort, I thought we were teleported to the sect by Elder Silverstorm," Kraven said.

"No the main sect is so far away that it would take years to get there with those wagons, and even Elder Silverstorm can't teleport us that far, we use the border fort to test the slaves to see if they are worth bringing to the main sect as disciples, if not they are transported to the Slavemasters fort and distributed to were slaves are needed, while the slaves with enough talent to become disciples are teleported to the main sect," James explained the logistics of the mission to Kraven.

"Okay enough about the logistics of the mission, how well did you do in your test Dwayne won't tell us and told us to ask you when you woke up," Jason asked excitedly.

Kraven heard the question and instead of replying he simply opened his hand and wiggled his ten fingers.

"Kraven don't joke with me did you really get 10 stars" Jason asked with James beside him looking dumbfounded.

"Not only did he get 10 stars if possible I would have given him double if possible," Dwayne said walking to the trio having finished the last test.

"Double what could Kraven have done to get double," James said shocked by Dwayne's statement.

"At the start of the test, his moves were all at the Perfection level, and in his final attack the reached the Intent level, that's why he was sleeping after I gave him an Energy Recovering Pill his body was completely drained of energy, to the point he collapsed after the last attack," Dwayne said knowing full well the bombshell he was dropping on James and Jason.

Jason and James sat there for a minute after hearing about the events of Kraven's test unable to wrap their heads around the fact that a slave achieved Intent level during the sect test being able to achieve Perfection level was the mark of an absolute genius but Kraven blew that out the water by achieving the Intent level.

The 4 chatted for an hour while the other slaves were recovering for the next test.

"It's time we move to the next test," Dwayne abruptly announced.

"Oh okay," Kraven said a bit sadly as he had to stop his conversation with James and Jason.

"Go get it done you're already technically a Sect disciple so we can always talk when you arrive at the sect after the tests," Jason said after seeing Kraven being a bit down about having to leave the conversation.

"Yeah chances are the next time we meet will be at the sect so when you get there come see us, it's good for us to be good friends with the monstrous genius that is Kraven before he's stronger than us," James said as he and Jason laughed.

Kraven laughed with them as well feeling the warmth of friendship for the first time in his life.

"Yeah, I'll go and get an amazing score on the next test as well so you can brag about being the two who brought me to the sect," Kraven said enjoying the friendly and happy atmosphere.

The slaves who had done terribly on the tests looked at Kraven with looks of anger but deep down what they truly felt was a sense of jealousy after all who wouldn't want to be an extremely talented genius?

It all got too much for one young slave the feeling of jealousy made him go mad, he lunged at Kraven who was still laughing with the trio of disciples, the attack didn't escape the notice of the trio as they were about to react however a voice entered their mind.

"Do not interfere," the voice said.

Kraven not realising what was happening was punched in the back by the slave sending him falling to the floor.

"What just happened," Kraven thought as he tried to regain his composure but his opponent wouldn't give him the chance.

"You think you're so much better than us right mister high scorer mister genius but if that's the case why are you the one on the floor right now being beaten by a lowly slave answer me damn it!!" the slave screamed while pummeling Kraven into the ground.

"Should we interfere?, Kraven's getting his ass handed to him if this goes on it could cause a shadow on his heart and could make his progress extremely slow or even stop" Jason said worried about Kraven.

"No Elder Silverstorm gave us an order we can't disobey an Elders order, you know that all too well Jason" James said with Dwayne agreeing with him.

Jason wanted to retort but he decided against it.

Kraven having been beaten up for what felt like hours but had only been a few minutes felt his emotions reach their peak, it felt like his veins burned as a stream of energy entered his despite the pain Kraven's body accepted the energy his body began greedily absorbing the energy, feeling the energy flow through his veins was painful but also strangely comfortable, Kraven felt the energy target fractures in his bones that hadn't healed right causing him pain whenever he moved, muscle's that had been torn and healed countless times resulting in weakness which caused weakness in his whole body. But to Kraven who had suffered these constant pains for years, he believed they were normal for someone his age pains every young person goes through the maids always said it was growing pains not the result of torture at the hands of his siblings, but after a while his body stopped healing and the opposite started his body began to hurt and he knew instinctively that his life was in danger.

"Am I going crazy or is Fire Qi gathering around Kraven?" James said with Jason looking just as confused.

"No there's no way a kid who hasn't even touched a cultivation technique would be able to gather Qi," Jason said trying to deny what he could see and sense happening.

"Not only is Qi gathering it is also circulating inside his body, this... this is impossible the only way this could happen is if he was cultivating but that's not possible," Dwayne said just as confused as Jason and James.

"GET THE FUCK OF ME YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!" Kraven screamed as the energy inside his body was about to reach a breaking point if the energy continued to enter his body he would die Kraven instinctively knew this but the four cultivators watching knew this for sure.

Kraven kicked his attacker in the stomach sending him tumbling a few feet away giving Kraven time to get to his feet and grab his saber the attacker didn't even have a second before Kraven was attacking him with his saber, Kraven used 6th move Heavy Slash to hit his arm causing it to break as the saber was not sharp had the saber been sharp it would of sliced the man in half.

"You talked so big when you sneak-attacked me like a coward but what now you're on the floor crying because your arm was broken so what I've had my arms broken and fixed so many times that it doesn't even hurt anymore and you're a mess because one single break, have you ever had people have competitions on who can break the most bones in a single hit or who can break a limb the fastest," Kraven screamed looking down at the man who had been the aggressor in this fight now cowering on the floor after Kraven broke his arm.

"You're not even worth my breath anymore you fucking insect," Kraven said so calmly that it made the slaves watching the fight start to shake and breathe heavily.

Before the man could even process what Kraven had said his head was sent flying by 3rd move Diagonal Slash with a full force slash empowered by Kraven pouring the excess Fire Qi into his Saber Intent allowing the wooden sword to have a sharp enough edge to cut the man's head off in one clean slash, using the excess Fire Qi to fuel the Saber Intent allowed Kraven to both kill his enemy and save his life from the Fire Qi rampaging through his body starting to undo the good it had brought.

After Kraven's body began to relax as the overbearing Fire Qi left his body and he had killed his enemy he noticed Jason walking toward him.

"Kraven are you ok," Jason said walking hurriedly to Kraven he placed a hand on him and began to feel if any negative changes had happened to the young boy's body, sending his Qi through Kraven's body gave Jason quite the shock as Kraven's bones and muscles that had previously broken or torn had been repaired to the level of a normal 10-year-old but the biggest shock were Kraven's veins and heart, the Fire Qi had changed them making them more robust and resilient towards Fire Qi this was something many Fire cultivators worked hard for and spent a massive amount of spirit stones, as the improved veins means that they could increase their cultivation speed of Fire attribute cultivation techniques and martial arts and increase the strength of their Fire Qi with shallow risk to their bodies.

As Jason was perplexed by the situation of Kraven's body a voice sounded from behind him but not a voice he was expecting.

"Congratulations on your first awakening young Kraven," Elder Silverstorm said walking out of the void he had been watching the altercation in.

"You obviously don't know what I'm talking about, do you? Well do the young disciples behind me wish to hazard a guess?" The elder directed the question to the three disciples now standing next to each other.

The three looked at each other unsure about the mystery of Kraven's body but suddenly Dwayne remembered something he had once read about in the Tome of Physiques and Bloodlines a book many read a bit of but stopped not long after starting.

"Could it be a Fire Spiritual Body?" Dwayne said unsure about his answer but it was his best guess.

"Correct Dwayne it is indeed a Fire Spiritual Body, you truly are a bookworm just like your master, Elder Silverstorm said laughing, Dwayne could only bow and thank the elder for his kind words.

"Sorry to interrupt, but what the hell is a Fire Spiritual Body?" Kraven asked as the others in the room also wanted to ask the same question.

"Forgive me, a Spiritual Body is a Unique Physique that is born when a human is born with a 100% affinity to a certain element in your case it's fire," Elder Silverstorm patiently explained to Kraven who had almost no cultivation knowledge.

"I see so I have 100% affinity to the Fire element, no that you mention it, my siblings once tried to burn me as a punishment for something they thought I had done but stopped because it didn't really hurt me as much as they wanted maybe that's the reason," Kraven said casually mentioning a torture attempt by his siblings.

"That would make sense as having a Spiritual Body makes you a beloved child of that element mortal fire can't hurt you even if you yourself are a mortal, that's not to say that you're immune to fire just very resistant to it Fire cultivators of the same level as you will have to try very hard to hurt you with Fire Qi," Elder Silverstorm explained.

"As further proof, you felt your body burning during the first test am I right," Elder Silverstorm questioned Kraven.

"Yeah I did but I thought that was normal," Kraven answered.

"Not at all, you girl what did you feel during the first test," Elder Silverstorm said pointing at a young girl with brown hair it was Claire the girl who tried to seduce Kraven for help in the first test.

"I only felt my body grow heavier over time that's all sir," she said shaking like a leaf the whole time.

"That is the normal reaction in the test, but Spiritual Bodies feel their respective elements manifesting inside their body, for you the burning sensation of fire," Elder Silverstorm said.

"You sure seem to know a lot about Spiritual Bodies Elder Silverstorm," Kraven said casually to Elder Silverstorm something that made the disciples in the room pale talking casually to an Elder especially Elder Silverstorm could end very badly he may seem nice and friendly but one wrong word and he'll kill you in a flash.

"Of course, I do I've lived with one for tens of thousands of years so, of course, I know a lot about them but I've only seen maybe a few hundred or so Spiritual Bodies in my lifetime, mine's the Lightning element variety spiritual body, I can tell you wanted to ask," Elder Silverstorm said chuckling at Kraven's brazenness to ask him a question and the face he made when Elder Silverstorm answered a question he hadn't asked yet.

"Enough of the chatter you lot need to do the final test and Kraven if you get 25 stars or above I'll make you my Personal Disciple so do try your best," Elder Silverstorm said before disappearing into the void.

"I'll see you soon Master," Kraven said to the space where Elder Silverstorm was just standing.

The trio of disciples stood there in shock "What the fuck just happened!" they said in unison.

"What's got you guys so shocked," Kraven said after the trio shouted at him.

"Do you have any idea what Elder Silverstorm just said to you, do you know how big of a deal this is, a Personal Disciple is the second-highest rank Elder Silverstorm only has 5 and they are all monsters of the highest order, but they all became his disciple when they were core disciples but you could become his Personal Disciple before even joining the sect you don't know how big of a deal this is," James said madly before being interrupted by Kraven.

"Ok ok I get it it's a big deal but can we get on with the test I'm kind of tired right now," Kraven said nonchalantly as if something that would make True disciples envious didn't just happen.

"He's right we need to get going any longer and it could cause delays," Dwayne said trying to take his mind off what just happened.

The slaves who had backed as far away as possible after Kraven had killed one of them looked despondent as not one of the disciples even mentioned the dead man even once further cementing that they weren't even considered people to them.

"Let's go," Dwayne said making the group follow him and Kraven to the next test site.
