Gold comes back to his village and heads towards his home. He sees a gathering around his house and runs towards it to see what is going on.

Gold: Why is everyone gathered here? What is going on?

Samuel: Gold? You are back? Where have you been?

Gold: What is going on ? Why are you all here?

Samuel hugs Gold while crying

Gold: What happened please tell me?

Samuel: It's your mother Gold. She is gone.

Gold's eyes widened and he fell on his knees. He just stayed like that, expressionless all the time, while the villagers performed the final rituals for her. After everything had happened and everyone had left Gold stayed near his mother's grave still without any expression on his face.

Samuel wanted to talk to Gold but he didn't know how to. Unlike everyone in the village Samuel cared for Gold but due to his job as a merchant he could never spend time him, Samuel feels guilty about it. He just looks at Gold from afar unable to approach him.

Gold is sitting alone looking at his mother's grave.

Gold: I am sorry mother, i left you for so long. I only cared for myself I am so sorry. I was too taken in by my anger for this world i could only think about getting back at it. When I decided to not care about being recognised, I forgot about you. I want to be recognised by you, I want you to be proud of me mother and i will make you proud. I will live up to the values you have taught me mother. I promise you I will never loose myself again and always be true who i am. I will follow the path of righteousness and never be taken over by hatred ever again. Even if I don't become strong I will be a good person.

Next day

Gold arrives for training

Diamond: Gold, how are you? Where have you been so long? You came back yesterday I wanted to talk to you but .....

Gold: I am fine Diamond sorry for making you worry about me.

Mickey: Hey Gold, want to see how strong I have gotten? Let's test our skills.

Diamond: Hey Mickey don't bother him right now.

Mickey: How the hell are you dodging all of them, it's like you could see them coming before I even throw them.

Eris: woah awesome.

Mikey makes a blade from his fire and runs towards Gold. Mikey attacks Gold but Gold avoids it. Mickey keeps attacking at Gold.

Mary and rose: What is he doing? Fighting close range with Gold? Not even Diamond can do that.

Diamond: True, in terms of martial arts and using weapons Gold is way better than all of us. Mickey could only best Gold till now by throwing fire balls but even that is useless now, so he's being desperate. But still the way Gold is moving now is very different from before, it's like he is way more experienced now. Just what was he doing away from village.

Mickey attacks again, Gold dodges it, Mickey puts his hand on Gold's chest.

Mickey: Let's see if you can dodge now!

Diamond: Hey! What is he trying to do we have to stop him! This going too far!

Mary and rose: He has gone crazy, forget what we said he is not a good person!

Eris: I think he hates Gold too now.

Gold: Is that all you got?

Gold grabs Mickey's hand and twists it.

As Gold is Dodging the fire balls

Diamond: You are not the only one who can move fast Gold. Here I come! Wolf shift !

Diamond transforms into a wolf fully and rushes towards Gold.

Gold: I have faced this before.

Gold grabs Diamond by his ears and slams him into the ground.

Mickey: No way, just how strong is this guy. He just slammed a wolf into the ground.

Diamond gets up and starts howling, he gets covered with lightning.

Diamond: Faster!

Diamond moves very fast this time Gold barely reacts to it but gets hurt.

Gold:( He is using his lightning to boost his speed, this is bad. I know it's coming but I am not fast enough to move. This is what limits me. Diamond and Mickey can get stronger in a short period of time by figuring out their abilities but as for me, I have to train my body to improve my performance which will take alot of time. This sucks.)

Diamond again rushes towards Gold, Gold moves to the side to dodge but the ground suddenly rises around him trapping him infront of Diamond.

Gold: Damm it! i forgot he can manipulate ground. Now have no where to run I have to face him.

Mickey: Nice Diamond now crush him.

Eris: He really hates Gold now.

Mary and rose: This is bad.

Diamond turns back into human but his legs still remain that of a wolf.

Diamond: Let's end it Gold.

Gold: Yeah.

Diamond lits his fist with fire and attacks Gold. Gold ducks down and hits him with an uppercut. Diamond falls on the ground.

Gold: why did you transform back and tried to fight me like that ?

Diamond: To prove myself that I am more than the powers I have been given. You are amazing you can do so much even though you don't have any special ability. I cannot let these given powers define who I am.

Gold: It doesn't feel like a victory Because of your stupid ego. Your abilities don't define who you are, how you use them defines you. You can have amazing abilities but be stupid like Mickey. You were doing good Diamond I had no answer to your attacks. Own your power Diamond if you want to protect this village and the people you care about. Don't let's your ego take over you and make the same mistakes as I did.

Diamond remembered his promise to his dad.

Diamond: I will beat you next time Gold.

After that day Gold never trained again with the other kids. He used to train alone and sometimes would go back to the forest and train there. He never saw the White lion again. Eris used to come and watch Gold train and spend time with him. Gold told her everything that happened in the forest.

Eris: you can talk to animals now ? That's so cool. and you fought the White Lion? Unbelievable.

Gold: I know

Eris: You have become normal Gold but you are still unique.

Gold: What do you mean?

Eris: Nothing. When are you going to train with Diamond and others again?

Gold: Never.

Eris: Why?

Gold: It's better that way.

Eris: i don't understand.

Gold: Even I don't.

Diamond is training with the other kids.
