Gold, Diamond and Eris are walking in the forest.

Diamond: I will walk in the front and lead our way, you two stay behind me and look around for anything unusual.

Eris: yes sir!

Gold just nods his head.

Eris: We know you can speak now so just reply with a word , you can't answer everything by nodding your head. It's why people call you weird. Start speaking more.

Gold just nods his head again with a smile.

Eris comes close to Gold and speaks quietly.

Eris: I saw you save Diamond from that dog back then. Hehe. Keep it a secret from him okay?

Gold: okay

Eris: see you can reply normally like that.

Diamond: stop fooling around you two,focus on our test!

Eris: yes sir!

Gold: sir!

Diamond: what did she do to you? Anyway, just keep following me.

After walking for a bit more.

Diamond: how are we even supposed to find that stone ? That guy didn't even give us any instructions.

Eris: you just realised that after walking so much?

Diamond: I thought there would be clues left for us to figure out but there is nothing here. What a stupid test design.

Eris: should we go back?

Diamond just ignores her and looks at Gold.

Diamond: are you gonna contribute anything? Or just standing quietly and fail the test?

Gold: we can try following those marks.

Diamond: what marks?

Gold: Those marks on trees.

Diamond: Those claw marks on trees? You think I didn't notice them? My dad told me animals leave these marks on trees to remember their way home and hunters follow these marks to follow them, if we follow these marks we will reach the animal and not the stone.

Gold: we are hunters too.

Eris: This does make sense!

Diamond: i refuse to believe it's this obvious! Do whatever you want, i won't lead anymore.

Eris: Gold lead the way.

Then the three of them follow the marks and find the stone and return back.

Ray: so you have found the stone.

Diamond : (It was actually this obvious! Why didn't I notice it ?)

Ray: wow it's so surprising, it's the first time in this village, all the children who took the hunters test passed!

Diamond: people fail this stupid test?

Ray: It might have been easy for you Diamond but for a normal person it's hard to figure out that the marks on trees are the clues.

Diamond kept quiet, Eris controlled her laughter and Gold had a smile on his face.

Mikey: heh it was so easy, why didn't you make us fight a monster or something?

Ray: Too early for you to even look at a monster. Don't take so lightly kid or you will regret it with your life!

Mickey got scared.

Ray: now it's time for your next step. Let's go.

Ray takes all the children to the holy pillar in the centre of the village.

Ray: listen carefully now, this is the holy pillar as you all know. One by one you will all touch this pillar with your hand.

Diamond: what will it do?

Ray: It will show your capabilities and awaken them. Come forward Diamond and place your hand on this pillar.

Diamond places his hand on the pillar.

Diamond felt something within him started glowing and it started to rain slowly.

Ray: Amazing! As expected you are unbelievable Diamond.

Diamond what just happened?

Ray: let me explain, every living thing is covered with and invisible aura around it called Aatma. Some people can use Aatma to perform unique things. Like this.

Ray raises his hand and wind blows upwards and all the children start floating in air.

Diamond: you can control wind with Aatma?

Ray: Have patience, controlling wind is not the only thing you can do with using Aatma, it depends on the person and the the type of Aatma they can use. There are 3 types of Aatma

1- when you can change the nature of your Aatma and use it to produce an element.

2- when you can use your Aatma to change and control the nature of your surroundings

3- when you can use your Aatma to change your own body and use powers of different living things.

I use second type of Aatma and I can only control wind with it. Being able to use even 1 type is rare. Our Chief Joseph is an amazing person he can use the 2nd and the 3rd type of Aatma.

Diamond: so I can use Aatma now?

Ray: Yes, and alot of it. When someone touches this pillar water falls from the sky to show them amount of Aatma they have. In your case it rained that means you are blessed. Now all of you come one by one.

Mickey: my turn, I will show you all how amazing I am.

Mickey touches the pillar and starts glowing and some water falls from the sky.

Ray: woah Mickey you can use Aatma.

Mickey: ofcourse I can! Tell me did i beat Diamond?

Ray: unfortunately not, but it's still amazing the amount of Aatma you have. It's more than me.

Mickey: This pillar won't decide my worth.

One by one all the children touched the pillar and two more awakened the ability to use Aatma.

Ray:( 4 have awakened this is not expected, seems like we will have some very strong hunters in our Village soon, with him as our leader.) Now finally Gold come it's your turn.

Gold:( I had fun today, I was waiting for this day, to become a hunter and be needed by the people. Together with Diamond I will protect this village. My life will change today.)

Gold touches the pillar and it's starts raining heavily, a heavy thunderstorm occurs.

Ray: everyone stay calm!( Just what kind of Aatma does he posses? It's unbelievable! It's just like the day he was born.)

Gold removes his hand from the pillar and the thunderstorm stops.

Gold looks at Ray with a disappointed face.

Ray: well it looks like you didn't awaken the ability to use your Aatma, even though you have so much of it.( Is this child actually cursed?)

The kids start laughing at Gold, especially Mickey.

Eris: it's okay Gold, i didn't awaken too, but you can still be a hunter or maybe try to do something else.

Diamond: Gold, I can talk to father you don't have to be a hunter, you are being forced anyways, it was never your decision to be a hunter. He chose it for you.

Gold looks at Diamond face for second with a sad smile on his face.

Gold: Now you are making decisions for me.

Then Gold walks away from there to a quite place where he was all alone .

Gold: ( ever since I was born the people of this village treated me like I was gonna harm them, i never got to play with the kids, when someone tried to play with me their parents scolded them. Diamond used to give me snacks in secret so other children don't see him with me. But i never was sad by it because I was told I will become a hunter when I grow up, Hunters are respected and loved by the villagers. If I become a Hunter people will accept me. Today for the first time i spent time with Diamond and Eris they didn't treat me like everyone else. I was waiting for this day. But this world is unfair, I was born a cursed child like everyone says. I will never be able to stand next to Diamond, I will never be able to protect the people of this village and earn their acceptance. It boils my blood.)

Gold starts shouting

If this is how it will be then so be it! Gold not will not give up! Even if I lost my limbs now I will not give up! I don't care about being accepted anymore! I will become strong for my self so tomorrow if even Diamond stands in my way I won't loose!

From here it's not about being recognised by others because everyone in this world only look towards the light, they don't care about the ones covered in darkness. They don't try help them or understand them. I was wrong to believe if I push through it everything will be fine but this world has its favourites, those who are given everything. But for them to have everything fools like me are left with nothing but suffering.

Only I can save myself and I will.
