Kiru's hair was a bit frazzled. Before she could take a sip of tea she let out a small yawn. She wore red silk pajamas with roses embroidery all over, after a small sip, Kiru lazily said. "Why are you so loud in the morning?" Arashi gritted her teeth and said. "Must be nice to be able to wake up at any time you feel like it."
Kiru let out a yawn and said. "Kanzei-san." Kanzei suddenly appeared next to her and handed Kiru a white index card, Kanzei went back through the door and closed it. Kiru carefully rubbed one of her eyes and started reading. "Blah blah blah, looks like he went somewhere." As she passed the index card to Arashi, it immediately vanished from her hands as Arashi was reading the contents.
Her eyes skimmed through the index as she used her right hand to read it, when she finished she crumpled the index card in her hand and said. "It says he went to Akihabara!" Kiru who was leaning on a large soft pillow lazily rolled her eyes at her, Arashi's grip on the index card became tighter. Kiru said. "Did he even said anything about going to Akihabara?"
Arashi's eyes widened slightly as her hand on the index card softens, she said. "... No..." Kiru took another sip of tea and said. "There you go, just wait. He'll be back, his family is less than a minute's walk away. I'll give it a week or less." Her eyes wandered to her feet as she saw Arashi was still wearing her sport shoes indoors. She said. "And do you mind? Wear some indoor slippers at least." Kanzei opened the door he went in and walked towards Arashi as he placed down white indoor slippers, he walked back to the door and closed it once again.
Arashi undid her shoelaces as she kept her black socks on, she wore the indoor slippers and took a seat on a large purple chair with two pillows. Looking around the room it had a large flat-screen tv, the large chair and couch they were sitting on, a large painting that almost took the entire back wall, and underneath the tv were dozens of cabinets.
Arashi scratched the back of her head as she let out a sigh, she said. "Where do you think he went?" Kiru let out a big yawn and said. "I'm sorry, what were we talking about? I just woke up." Arashi slammed her fist on the rest of the chair which absorbed the impact of her blow, she said. "It's almost four in the afternoon." Kiru took another sip of hot tea and said. "And I was... Doing some research." Arashi scoffed at her, with her eyes narrowing a small smirk formed on her face. She said. "You were trying to replicate Lil bro's tea, weren't you?" Kiru rolled her eyes and said. "No, I have more important things to do." Arashi let out a loud laugh that made her breast jiggle, she said. "You won't be able to do it."
Kiru replied. "What makes you say that?" Arashi leaned back on the chair as she made herself comfortable, she placed both her feet up on the coffee table. She said. "If Lil bro was worried about you trying to replicate it he would've offered you a deal. But the fact is, he made the potion with you watching the entire thing." A large smirk slowly formed on Arashi's face while Kiru kept a neutral expression.

Inside A Building
Reiki's vision was somewhat blurry as he placed his right hand on his head because of a splitting headache. From laying down he sat on the bed as he looked around and saw a nightstand with a letter the writing was in Japanese but looked a bit clunky, It said. Chew this herb for a few seconds to get rid of the headache. Placing the letter back on the nightstand, Reiki grabbed the dark green herb that was oddly shaped, placing it in his mouth he started chewing as he felt his headache slowly fade.
With his vision restored he stared at the room he was in, it had a painting of a beautiful grassy landscape with a waterfall, under the painting was a large wooden dresser with three drawers, a large soft bed he woke up in, next to it was a nightstand, a dark wooden door on the left, and a square window behind him with a view of the forest.
All of a sudden the taste of the herbs turned bitter, it tasted similar to eating a spoonful of black coffee and a sip of water, picking up the letter again he saw on the very bottom it said. P.S. Spit the herb on this piece of paper the moment it turns bitter. Hehehe. Reiki spat out the herb as he wiped his mouth using his long-sleeved t-shirt, just when he was about to wipe it off he noticed his shirt was missing and a thick square fabric was on his right abdomen.
Turning his head around he saw there was another one behind him in the same spot, he said. "This is going great." The voice suddenly said. [Listen! Whatever you don't use any magic while you're here! No underhanded tricks! And no lying! I need to hide for a while but remember-!] The voice suddenly stopped as Reiki said. "No magic, schemes, and lies..."
He heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind the door, as it opened an elf that looked like an older version of who placed the square fabrics on his body. Her body was leaning on the slim side, the elf's proportions were on the abundant side, her hair almost reached her ankles, she wore a long green one-piece dress that reached to her ankles with long sleeves, she wore a belt by her waist and a pair of brown leather shoes that looked similar to combat boots. She looked at him and spoke in elvish. "That's strange... You shouldn't be able to sit up because of your wound..."
Walking towards him she had a small empty bucket and a couple of apples in the other hand. Placing the two apples on the nightstand, she moved the bucket next to his face as Reiki held out the paper in his hand. The elf let out a sigh and took the paper off his hands with a gentle smile, another set of footsteps was coming by the door as the previous elf who patched him up went inside and spoke in elvish saying. "Mom..."
This elf was wearing a green tunic with her sleeves being brown, pants that hugged her figure, and the same style of shoes her mother is wearing. Seeing the smile her mother was making she turned around and limped and tried to limp her way out. The elf next to Reiki vanished as she was suddenly blocking the door with a big smile on her face. Reiki thought. I know that face, she is fucked.
Reiki suddenly felt something phase through him, it wasn't cold or did anything that could be visible to the naked eye, but he felt like something was watching over him. He thought. He said no magic, schemes, and lies... Now I know why. Both of the elves were speaking in their native language, the mother said. "Moranor Amthir, everyone knows you only meant well, but please be careful. The medicine I gave you that you applied to his wounds could've been a lethal dose. I know you're only trying to help but at least read up on some medicinal herbs."
As the mother shook her head sideways, Moranor had a sheepish smile and said. "But he's fine, isn't he? And besides what was I supposed to do when he was bleeding a puddle under him? Sit back and watch?" Neither of them noticed Reiki stood up and walked towards both of them, the mother rubbed her forehead using her hand as she said. "You're so much like your father, both of your heads are filled with strategies and becoming more powerful."
As she let out a sigh, Moranor let out a small chuckle but Reiki saw her eyes filled with sadness for a brief moment. He pulled on the mother's sleeve that made her turn her head at him with a gentle smile on her face, she accidentally spoke in elvish. "What is it?"
Moranor leaned on the wall and said. "Mom, you're speaking in elvish. He doesn't know what you're saying." Reiki thought. Ironically I can. The mother's eyes widened as she faked a small cough, Reiki spoke in broken elvish saying. "Elvish. Language. Book."
Both of the elves stared at him in disbelief at what he just said. Moranor speaking in elvish said. "I-I think he w-wants a book about elvish language..." The mother kept her gaze on him as she nodded her head and said. "Y-yes... I think that's what he meant." As she turned around and opened the door and walked downstairs leaving two of them alone. Moranor looked at him in fascination as she waited for Reiki to speak. Reiki spoke in a broken sentence. "Thanks. Sabe."

Moranor's eyes widened as a smile slowly crept on her face, speaking in elvish she said. "Can. You. Understand. Me?" Reiki looked at her face for a few seconds before making a small nod, her smile growing, she said. "Fuck." In elvish. Reiki thought. Really? Cussing is the first thing you try to teach someone. Reiki tried to repeat what she said, and he said. "Fukk?" Moranor looked at the door as she slowly closed it and turned her head to face him, she said. "Fuck."
In elvish repeating herself. Reiki said. "Fuck." As his eyes suddenly went above her head as he looked at the mother who had a dangerously sweet smile on her face. The mother kindly said. "Moranor." Which made the girl's body lightly shudder as she slowly turned around to see the sweet smile. Moranor shakily said. "Y-yes, m-mom?" Her mother kindly said. "Go and start preparing dinner for three." Moranor opened her mouth but made an audible gulp, and said. "B-But I don't know how to-."
The mother was surrounded by a thin layer of blue mana as her hair started to levitate above her head as it moved like the wind was slowly passing through her hair, making her look intimidating. Her pupils were starting to glow blue as she commandingly said. "I. Said. Make. Dinner." Moranor stretched her upper body towards the door as the mother vanished and appeared on the right, she quickly opened it and started running with her limp she said while going down the stairs. "Y-Yes ma'am."
The mana surrounding the mother slowly dissipated as her eyes also turned back to normal, she turned around and saw Reiki took a step back and had his arms by his side. Speaking in broken elvish he said. "T-Thanks. Sabe. Me." As he made a deep bow to show his thanks. The mother placed her hand on her cheek and spoke in elvish saying. "Look what you've done..." Letting out a sigh she walked towards him and squatted down to see eye to eye, speaking in common tongue, she said. "Can you speak common tongue?"
Reiki immediately replied. "Yes, I-I can. Thank you for saving me." As he made a slight bow since she was closer this time. The elf had a kind smile on her face, she said. "It's fine, we know not all humans are... The same. I'm Melanor Amthir, what's your name?" Reiki keeping eye contact said. "Reiki. Akihito Reiki. Please feel free to call me Reiki." Slowly moving her hand she placed it on top of his head as she gently patted him, she said. "Be honest with me, Reiki. Did you ask for a book about elvish language?" Reiki nodded his head and said. "Yes, I wanted that book to communicate with you. I was just surprised to see elves when I woke up that I forgot about the common language."
Melanor stared deep into his eyes for a few seconds as silence permeated the room, a smile formed on her face as she took a pouch from the belt on her waist, speaking in common tongue, she said. "I left my bag of holding in my bedroom." As she placed one of her hands up until her wrist as she started to rummage through items. Reiki looked at her pouch and said. "Bag of holding?... Isn't it called a magic pouch?"
Pulling out a brown somewhat thick book, she placed it near Reiki. She said. "Bag of holding, magic pouch, and enchanted sack. They're the same thing just called differently, an individual using one of those names would reveal the environment they grew up in." Reiki used both his hands to hold the book, Melanor placed her hand on her chin and continued. "A handful of villages have different species. For example, we elves call this a bag of holding, if a human grew up in our environment he or she would also call it that. Like how you Reiki call it a magic pouch or pouch for short in your town."
Reiki thought for a bit and said. "So it's something similar to a person's dialect. It indicates or at least gives a hint where therefrom." Melanor ruffled his hair and said. "Correct, I'm sorry for the long explanation. It's been a while since I went outside the forest." Reiki shook his head and said. "It's fine, thank you for the book. I'll be sure to return it before dinner." Flipping the book open, Reiki went to the bed to read in the sunlight. In his pupils there was a thin blue ring that was rapidly changing in thickness.
The writings on the book blurred for him as it slowly turned into the Japanese language. Melanor walked towards the door, turning around and she saw Reiki's face was covered by the book, she said. "Take all the time you need." Closing the door behind her, going down the stairs she said to herself. "Before dinner?..." As she walked to the kitchen and saw a sulking elf cutting some vegetables. Moranor was chopping a carrot unevenly and next to her was a pile of unevenly sliced potatoes, carrots, celery, one onion, and some mushrooms.
Melanor let out a sigh seeing the mess, Moranor turned her head sideways and saw her mother was watching. Turning her head back to the chopping board as her hand somewhat wobbles as she was cutting the last carrot. Moranor said. "I'm done." As she limped her way to the stairs. Melanor blocked her way with her arms crossed, she said. "No, you are not." Moranor started pouting and said. "But I don't know how to cook!"
Melanor chopped the top of her daughter's head and said. "And practicing would make you better!" Moranor started to stamp her uninjured feet on the floor and said. "But-." Melanor cut her off by suddenly saying. "No buts! Whatever you cook you'll be eating tonight, and if I don't consider it edible. You'll have the responsibility of finishing it all."
Moranor started pouting as she opened up a cabinet above her and took out a saucepan, her mother said. "Wrong pot." As she went outside and shut the front door, Moranor returned the saucepan in the cabinet and looked for the biggest one she could find.
~3 Hours Later~
The large deep pot was above a medium-high flame as it had some steam coming from the edges of the lid of the pan, turning the stove off. She placed the vegetable stew in a large wooden pot and placed it on the table that was already set up with three plates and eating utensils. The sound of the front door opened as her mother walked to the kitchen and said. "I hope you made something edible this time dear."
As she let out a chuckle, Moranor turned her head and said. "Hmph." While leaning on a wall. Melanor said. "I'll get Reiki and... Hopefully, we won't need to pump our stomachs later." The sound of footsteps hesitantly walking down the stairs and stopped all of a sudden, Melanor speaking in common said. "Reiki on the right!" The footsteps walked towards them as it started getting closer. He saw a living room and took a right and saw a doorway without a door. Staring at the doorway as he walked into the kitchen as his gaze looked at it with a weird look, Melanor had a smile on her face and was about to say something when Reiki suddenly spoke elvish saying. "Uh, why isn't there a door here?"
Moranor almost dropped a glass pitcher of water as she used magic to catch it and placed it on the table, Melanor eyes were wide staring at him with an odd gaze. Reiki seeing their reactions mumbled to himself and spoke in common and said. "Weird, I'm pretty sure I said it normally." Getting the book from his pouch from his pocket he flipped the pages in a hurry as he skimmed a few lines, he continued. "Uh-huh, I did say it correctly. Maybe I made a mistake in the wording?" Clearing his throat he repeated. "How come there isn't a door?"
As he pointed at the doorway. Melanor snapped back and spoke in elvish saying. "Can you understand me?" Reiki nodded his head, he said. "Yes, thank you for lending me this book about elvish language." As he walked towards her and used both his hands to hold the book to pass it to her. Melanor nodded blankly and said. "You learned how to speak elvish in less than an afternoon?" Reiki, still speaking in elvish said. "Before I answer that, can I please have my shirt back? It's getting dark and it's starting to get cold." Melanor gaze suddenly shifted to his wound as she hurriedly brought out a green tunic from her pouch on the waist of her belt.
Reiki was about to take the tunic off her hands as Melanor gave him the green tunic, wearing the green tunic felt comfortable against his skin. He said. "Thank you Melanor-san, and to answer your question I can speak and read elvish but on the flip side, I can only understand one at a time and if they aren't speaking too fast." Melanor kept staring at him, clearing her throat. She said. "I'll make a quick round of introductions." She pointed at her daughter who was staring at him with wide eyes,
Melanor continued. "She's-." Reiki interrupted her and said. "Moranor Amthir, right? I heard it the first time when you were scolding her." Melanor chuckled as Reiki walked towards the table, making a polite bow towards her he said. "Thank you for saving my life." With a faint blush on Moranor cheeks, she started to lightly scratch her nose and said. "It's nothing, I'm just glad you're okay."
Melanor clapped her hands and said. "Alright, Reiki, please join us for dinner. If it doesn't suit your taste I can easily make something in a few minutes, don't worry about the uh... Stew? On the table, Moranor is more than willing to make sure it doesn't go to waste." As she flashed a sweet smile towards her daughter.
Moranor who was pouring herself a glass of water almost spilled some on the floor but was able to stop it, with a hint of sulking in her voice she said. "Yes, don't even worry about it." Melanor dragged Reiki to the middle of the table where his seat was as both of the elves sat at the edges of the table. Looking around the table Reiki saw a large bowl of vegetable stew with unevenly sliced vegetables, a few large loaves of sliced bread, a couple of medium-size wedges cut cheese, and the glass pitcher had a few slices of cucumber and lemon inside.
Moranor served herself some of the vegetable stew she made a couple of slices of bread and started eating, she tasted the stew as the corner of her eye slightly twitched. Melanor looked at Reiki and said. "Don't be shy Reiki, make sure to eat your fill." She sliced off some of the cheese wedges and took a couple of sliced bread and served herself a small serving of the stew, as she was about to taste the stew she saw Reiki had an odd expression on his face.
She said. "Is anything wrong, Reiki?" Reiki shook his head and said. "No, I was just wondering if there would be any rice." Moranor ate the last potato on her bowl as she emptied her glass of water, looking at the large vegetable stew on the table she let out a sigh and served herself another bowl. Melanor's eyes widened in realization as she said. "I forgot, you... You usually have rice for your meals. I'll be sure to buy some for tomorrow."
Reiki nodded as he was serving himself a large bowl of vegetable stew, grabbed three pieces of bread, and some of the cheese that had already been cut by Melanor. He said. "Itadakimasu." As he used a wooden spoon to eat an unevenly sliced potato. He thought. Yep, it's raw. Chewing his food, Melanor had a worried look and asked him. "How is it?" Moranor's eyes were staring at the wall on her left as she awaited his criticism. Swallowing down his food he scooped up more using his spoon and said. "It's not that bad."
Moranor's eyes widened as she slightly blushed and kept her calm, Melanor was in disbelief as she ate a carrot. Melanor chewed once as the corner of her eyes twitched.
