The Wolf God's eyelid twitched as he suddenly sensed a brief flare of malice emanate from the Goddess in front of him. She wasn't even a millionth of his size, and yet, he knew better than to think size automatically meant power.
Still... While she wasn't quite the Goddess he detested most, she was amongst those he absolutely despised. She had been, after all, one of his tormentors of his youth, and he would not forget those times so easily.
"What's wrong, Luxia? I can practically smell your malice, Luxia. Tell me, Luxia, how does it feel to stare down at your mistake, Luxia?" He goaded, teeth the size of buildings showing through his curling lips.
"Shut up, you disgusting mutt. What, aren't you going to ask me for the trade? Isn't that your job? If you get on your knees and beg, maybe I'll consider it." The tiny Goddess snarled, the unicorns in front of her neighing at the tension growing between the two divinities.
"Trade? Hah! I haven't survived through all your disgusting scheming because I'm a fool. You think I can't figure out the fact that you would never have dared send someone I hate as much as yourself here if you were serious? I'm just waiting for you to spring your trap, you disgusting vermin." He sneered, the giant and complex runes on his skin beginning to glow with a dark light.
Luxia's golden eyes flashed, power coursing through her. Spears and swords of light appeared around her by the millions, a protective shield appearing around her unicorn-drawn carriage. "Hmph. So what if you know? Those abominations that you dare call monarchs are nothing but fools. You think we don't already know that you know we were never serious?" She roared, all pretense at this being a friendly exchange vanishing.
The Wolf God seethes at her words, wishing he had the power to destroy her where she stood. For her to dare call his benefactors fools, she deserved nothing more than death, not even counting all the torment she'd forced onto him. However, he was all too aware of the power imbalance here, and with one last sneer, he fled.
Luxia let out a loud war-cry, the millions of powerful weapons floating in the air charging towards the massive wolf in front of her. They'd long since locked down the space around here, and considering she was considered one of the fastest gods in all of Tierra, there was little chance of the Wolf God escaping.
Still, a cornered rat is the most dangerous kind of rat, and she had no want nor need to see what kind of trump cards the Wolf God had up his proverbial sleeve. With a wave of her hand, her unicorns charged forward, their speed quickly overtaking that of the titanic wolf.
Three immense auras flared in the distance, only to be met with three other equally powerful auras. Luxia grinned, seeing their plans coming to fruition, watching as the Wolf God came to an abrupt stop as she appeared in front of him, blocking off his path of retreat.
The Wolf God's massive eyes flashed dangerously as he let out an earth-shaking howl, the previously bright skies above filling with dark, ominous clouds. Opening his mouth, a tidal wave of shadowy wolves flowed out, charging towards the Light Goddess as he tanked the numerous weapons of light coming at him with his body alone.
She let out a dismissive huff, a spear of light appearing in her hands. With ridiculing eyes, she simply waved it towards the incoming tsunami of shadow-born wolves, causing them all to evaporate through her control of the surrounding light.
"Space God, hurry up!" She roared, causing the Wolf God's heart to pause for a beat as his eyes widened. With a growl, he swept the space surrounding them with his divine sense, forcing a previously hidden figure to come out.
"Damn it, Light Goddess! This wasn't part of the deal!" The Space God screamed as he was forced to block the powerful divine sense of the Wolf God, blood trickling out of his mouth.
Luxia sneered at the mercenary God, ignoring his complaints. Instead, she turned back towards the Wolf God, who despite having suffered an entire wave of attacks from the Light Goddess, looked to be relatively unharmed apart from a few singes here and there.
"Your defenses are truly as extraordinary as they say, Wolf God. However... You won't be able to resist this." She laughed uproariously, feeling their scheme coming together nicely. The massive Wolf God growled, feeling a tinge of fear as he furiously tried to think of just what the Civilized Faction was trying to achieve.
Killing him would bring them satisfaction, sure, but it would without a doubt cause the Beast Faction, who had previously remained fairly neutral all things considered, to immediately throw their entire support behind the Hell Faction.
He just couldn't understand what they were trying to do. Why was the Space God here? He was an unaffiliated God, a mercenary of sorts that sided with whoever offered him the best benefits, so while he could understand why he was here, he couldn't comprehend why the Civilized Faction would bring such an exotic God to this conflict.
"Are you done?" Luxia asked the Space God, temporarily ignoring the Wolf God, who didn't look interested in attacking them quite yet. The man nodded, a bright grin slowly emerging on his face as he wiped the corner of his mouth with his sleeve, getting rid of the remaining bloodstains.

"Yes, monarch. I will need your entire power to activate this, however. The Wolf God is far too much for me to handle alone." He answered respectfully. The Goddess nodded, briefly glancing behind her and using her divine sense to examine the battles happening behind her.
'They should be able to hold those three off for a little while longer.' She concluded after a brief inspection, knowing full well that her three fellow monarchs weren't as strong as the opposing three beast monarchs. Thankfully, however, they were more than able to stall them for a while at least.
"Good. Let's do this before their reinforcements arrive." She nodded, massive amounts of divine energy flowing off of her and into the Space God.
The Wolf God's sixth sense for danger practically began blaring as his fur stood on edge. Turning around, he immediately began fleeing once more, only to suddenly come to an involuntary stop.
Complex space runes surrounded the entire area around the three warring Gods, looking far different than the runes on the Wolf God's skin. Space around them began to crack as more and more power flowed through it, some of the cracks even spreading onto the Wolf God, causing him to let out a howl of pain.
He struggled against the bindings locking him down, shattering quite a few of them. However, more simply appeared, keeping him nice and still for whatever nefarious plan the two gods cooked up.
"Bastards! Dishonorable sluts! Flea-ridden rats, all of you!" The Wolf God roared, the runes on his skin practically shining by now as they boosted his power to the absolute maximum, which unfortunately was not enough. He could shatter the binding runes, but they just kept on coming.
The Space God's complexion was pale, but there was an almost mad glint to his eyes as he didn't hesitate to continue receiving energy from the Goddess next to him and powering the massive spell surrounding them. Even Luxia's face was starting to lose color from how much energy she was using, but she didn't let up.
Some distance away, the six monarchs currently exchanging furious blows with each other abruptly sensed what was happening over in the distance as the containment runes that had kept the events hidden so far shattered. The Blood God's inhuman face that resided within the sea of blood that made up his body grimaced, a bad feeling suddenly appearing in his heart.
"Not good. Battle Goddess, use me!" He roared, the ocean of blood abruptly charging towards the titanic Battle Goddess, who opened up her arms.
Within moments, the two fused together, their combined aura practically exploding outwards. The three opposing Civilized monarchs grinned at the sight, knowing that their enemies were desperate if they were resorting to such dangerous methods.
As the battle between the six monarchs picked up in both intensity and ferocity, the Wolf God was being forced into a more and more desperate situation. It'd been a long time since he'd felt this powerless, and he hated it. Hated it enough to call upon his ultimate attack.
However, before he could do so, something abruptly snapped. There was no sound and no shockwave, and yet, every single God within Tierra, be they minor or major, felt it.
The space next to the Wolf God, having been abused so badly by both a rampaging peak medium God, as well as a specialized Space God being supplied energy from a major one, shattered.
The Wolf God's eyes widened, and before he could even let out any sounds, he was sucked into the rift that had formed. The Space God and Luxia were also almost sucked in, but they were able to resist due to the distance between them and the rift, as well as the Space God's interfering.
Just as abruptly as it had opened, the rift closed, shattering all the runes that had been present nearby. The Space God abruptly lurched forward, blood oozing out from every orifice on his body. Still, he had a giant grin on his face.
"I've done it! I've bloody done it! A space rift, we actually managed to create a space right!" He yelled in excitement. The Goddess next to him nodded tiredly, practically all of her energy having been drained.
The next second, her three fellow Civilized monarchs appeared next to her. The three Beast monarchs also appeared, their faces grim. All six of them looked banged up, with the Civilized monarchs looking especially bad as they had to resist the furious assaults of three more powerful enemies.
"You... How dare you..." The Claw God seethed, his mutated body practically oozing disgust. "You dare lie to us, entrap one of our own, and actually prevent us from rescuing him!? You're suicidal, that's what you are!" He roared, only his firm will preventing him from charging at the enemies in front of him.
"The Hell Faction will have a field day with this, and we'll drag the location of the Supreme's Mausoleum from your screaming souls." The Blood God murmured, his body having returned to its humanoid form.
The Space God looked fairly creeped out at the sight of the three seething Beast Gods, not having been fully informed of the machinations behind what he'd considered to be a scientific experiment.
However, the four Civilized monarchs looked suprisingly calm, smirks evident on their pale and bloodied faces. Aeria stepped forward, her arms cockily held in front of her chest as she sneered. "I doubt you'll dare join the Hell Faction, considering only we know the secret to rescuing your mutt friend."
Her words stunned the three opposing monarchs. There were a few seconds of silence before the Battle Goddess began to laugh, a frankly creepy and mocking sound. "You think we'll believe you after the shit you just pulled!? Get off your high horse, wind slut." She sneered, her eyes practically radiating anger.
"Hmph. If you don't believe us, just ask this lowly mercenary. He's the one who gave us the key, and he knows more details than we do. Besides, if you don't believe the mutt to be alive, just check on his priests. Do send us a message when you come begging for his location." Luxia laughed as she mocked the three beastly monarchs. The four Civilized monarchs exchanged brief glances with each other before promptly giving the Space God the proverbial boot and high-tailing it out of there.
While getting rid of the Wolf God, even if only temporarily, was obviously a cause for celebration, their scheme wasn't quite over. They were well aware that the Beast Faction would come to them, and when they did, the Civilized Faction would be able to drag out quite a few concessions from them.
Meanwhile, the abandoned Space God looked on with wide eyes as his previous allies abandoned him, and as three furious Gods pounced on him, there were only two words he could use to describe his situation.
"Oh shit."
