The next morning, the Oracle was still there, as always, and as always rejected his food and answered his questions.
“The blessing of the unicorn is not something that is granted easily, only to those who are considered friends, to whom they are grateful. It helps to absorb all forms of power, doubling the rate of recovery of mana, physical energy and the earning of what you call experience,” he answered, clarifying the doubts about the gift that he had received.
Eldi was amazed and grateful for what that blessing was giving him, but also worried about something.
“And won’t it cause problems with other beings? With dryads?”
The Oracle looked at him for a moment through his unperturbed mask before answering.
“Getting a blessing doesn’t mean being an ally or enemy of anyone, although it may be that some creature of darkness distrusts who bears the blessing of light. Also, like all blessings, like all goods, it can raise envy, although not greed, because it can’t be stolen or passed on. Anyway, it isn’t a blessing that can be easily detected, because it has no easily visible influence, so it will go unnoticed in most cases. And as for the dryads, they aren’t creatures opposed to unicorns, there should be no reason why they should be bothered by her blessing.”
Eldi nodded, something calmer, and even surprised that the Oracle had explained so much. He never knew what information he was going to give him and what he was going to hide.
After breakfast, he spent the rest of the day making equipment and potions level 15, crafting even a second pair of his main weapons. It also started with the level 20 equipment, although he lacked materials for most, mainly wood and skins.
Since he had an abundance of herbs, he used the regeneration potions to help with the crafting, and a lot of mana was needed with the arrows. It cost the same amount of mana to make an arrow as a spear, something that seemed disproportionate to him, but he could do nothing about it. At least, the expense in materials was reasonable.
On the other hand, he had unlocked the electric passive, increasing not only the damage but the time of confusion, which made it much more useful.
And level 15 skill was also passive, and allowed him to recover more quickly from fatigue. Without a doubt, also extremely useful.
He also had time for some tests, especially the possible combinations of Earthen Wall and Stand, either nailing the spears on the wall itself or behind it, before the possibility that they wanted to go through it as a bear had done a few days ago.

He added Impregnable to his training, even if only for a few seconds once every hour, seconds during which he tried to pierce himself with a spear from the ground. The first time he did it with a lot of care, but, since it was effective and helped to raise the level, he had ended up using more than one spear. In fact, he had managed to take it to compatibility 5, because there wasn’t much left, and now it was lasting two and a half seconds.
Relying on being powerful enough, he explored around the village, but the materials found were low-level. He wasn’t attacked this time and, in fact, if the bear that had chased him would have appeared, he could now face it.
The next morning he used the blue circle, which also teleported him to a spacious cave, at the exit of which was a broad meadow, and beyond it a forest. He was surprised by the blue tone of the meadow and the nearby forest. It is true that he had seen it in the game, but it isn’t the same as contemplating it beyond a screen.
He soon recalled why he had disliked this place in the game. He could see many insects flying over his head, from levels that went until the 18th, and that had already bothered him in the past. Being from a class with few long range skills, it was difficult to attack them, and they could do it at any time. Or flee if they needed. The only advantage is that, to compensate their ability to fly, they weren’t too powerful, and their threat was low even if two or three levels higher.
To alleviate the air inferiority, he needed to enter the forest, to which there was a considerable distance. Or get to the dungeon, which was his goal. While its residents were 5 levels above, he wanted to take a look, and check if there was a rest area as in the game.
He was attacked several times from the sky as he walked along the stone wall, which covered him on one side. In most cases he was able to dodge easily, and a few times he needed to heal himself. And at the end of his trip, he had learned to counterattack. The arrows were not very effective, but Boomerang could cut the wings of the insects, if they got close enough, and he had a bit of luck, after which they would fall helpless. He wondered what sapphire mosquito wings or sapphire wasp sting would be useful for.
The entrance to the dungeon was similar to a cave, but it was covered with a kind of translucent door that can only be traversed if you have the right key, because those doors are nothing but a seal, placed as much as a precaution as to keep the monopoly. The keys can be obtained in the adventurer’s guilds under whose jurisdiction is a certain dungeon. And of course, as a player, as a visitor, Eldi had almost all of them and hadn’t needed to return any.
He went through it carefully, finding another similar door a few meters away. He also crossed it, arriving to the rest area, a safe place to recover and rest.
Eldi looked at the exit of the room and took a deep breath. Although they were five levels higher, he had decided that he wanted to try to level up there if this room existed, because he felt more comfortable than ending the life of other living beings.
Of course, he was carrying a mana stone, which absorbs the energy of those beings and can be sold at a good price, compensating for the lack of drops. He had some in the inventory and had found more in the village, so he didn’t have to worry about running out of them. His only problem was to face those beings of higher level.
He went through that translucent door again, his escape if things went wrong. Then he moved forward little by little, between fearing and hoping that his lamp would attract some inhabitants of the place.
