20xx, Earth

In a fine morning, where the wind gently blows and the birds chirp happily, a young student, Hiro was on his way to school.

Along the way, Hiro saw a small girl around 4 years of age who was crying.

"Are you lost? Come with me and I'll help you find your parents." Hiro said as he reached his hand to the child.

It took him a while to find the child's mother. As he returned the girl to her mother, the mother thanked him.

"Thank you for returning me my child. Here, get this sandwich I made this morning." The mother said while getting something from her basket.

"Uhm... you're welcome madam. I just did what I have to do." Hiro wryly smiled as he scratched the back of his head while accepting the sandwhich.

He bid farewell to the mother and daughter and went on his way again to school.

Since it took some time for him to return the girl, he was getting late for class.

But as soon as he reached the gates, he saw 5 male students with builds that are bigger than him and the happy expression on his face slowly became an expression of anxiety and fear.

"Hey Hiro, what is that thing you're holding? Is that food? Give it to me!" The male student in the center threatened Hiro and snatched his sandwhich.

Hiro who can't do anything just bit his lip out of frustration because he can't do anything about these bullies.

After getting his sandwhich, the 5 students left laughing after they ridiculed Hiro.

Seeing that the bullies left, Hiro proceeded to his classroom.

As soon as he entered the room, the bell rang and the teacher arrived.

"All take your seats. We will now begin our class." The teacher told the students as he proceeded with his lecture.

Dismissal came and a girl with long black hair wearing a headband who was seating beside Hiro approached him.

"Are you okay? You don't look so good. Did those bullies harass you again?" She asked with a worried look on her face.

The girl who asked was Liliana. She is Hiro's childhood friend. She is also the class president and has been a very courageous person ever since they were children.

"No Lily, I was playing the whole night that is why I'm not feeling well today." Hiro hurriedly made an excuse.

"Is that so? Well, if they bully you just tell me and I'll show them who's boss." Lily who seems to notice that Hiro was lying replied.

Liliana who was worried for her friend Hiro decided to go home together with him since they were neighbors. The reason why they were not able to go together to school that morning was because Lily had to do chores as the class president.

"Hiro, you are a boy. You should have confidence in yourself and be braver." Lily told him while they were walking down the road.

Since they were friends for a long time, Lily is aware that Hiro is being bullied and she was also the one who saves him everytime those guys came near him.

Hiro could only lower his head knowing that a girl is repremanding him for not retaliating to those bullies. He is also ashamed of himself that a girl is the one defending him.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Hiro and the daughter of the police chief." The guy who took Hiro' sandwhich greeted them with an evil smile.

Together with his gang he dragged Hiro at a nearby alley. Hiro can't do anything against these 5 bullies and neither does Lily who followed them.

"Hiro give me your wallet. Let's check how much you have for us." The leader forced his way and snatched Hiro's wallet while the minions held Hiro and some even punched him

Lily seeing this rushed to Hiro's side and blocked the bullies.

"Stop this! I'll call the police!" Lily who was standing to defend Hiro held a cellphone threatened them.

"Hey guys, since the girl presented herself to us why not have some fun?" One member suggested to his friends with lustful eyes directed to Lily.

Sensing their eyes, Lily was not able to move and became scared.

As they were about to grab Lily, Hiro suddenly got up and charged to the bullies using his body to prevent them from grabbing Lily.

The bullies were caught off guard and all five of them fell like a domino.

"Lily! Get away from here fast!" Hiro who was catching his breath shouted, telling her to escape.

"But I can't leave you." Lily who was in a verge of crying said.

"Just go, I can't forgive myself if something happened to you just because if me." Hiro said as he grabbed his phone from his pocket.

The bullies got up as soon as Lily fled. Hiro was about to call the cops when suddenly...

BAM!

"Eh? Why is my vision hazy?" Hiro staggered and dropped his phone.

His knees were on the ground and he tried using his hands to support himself in order not to completely fall.

But his effort was useless. The people kept on punching him, kicking him until he was lying on the ground like a cold corpse.

The men became bored and left when they noticed that he was not moving anymore.

*Buzzzz*

"Hmm... what is that sound? Why does my head hurt?" Hiro who was lying on the ground tried to open his eyes.

Because of the pain from his injuries, Hiro can only barely see anything. It was dark but he noticed a small light.

He used the remaining strength that he had and reached his hand towards the light. There he noticed that the sound he heard from earlier and the light that he saw was from his phone.

He checked his phone even though he was barely conscious. There he saw a mail notification.
