Uprising.

Dawn did not wish to turn around and look at the young man, but the latter stepped forward and blocked his way. Dawn gazed at him and said, “What is the meaning of this?”

The burly young man asked, “What did your gesture mean now?”

The two people were gazing at each other with complete contrast in their expressions. Dawn was cold and indifferent, while the young man was impatient and angry. The latter had crossed his arms before his chest filled with righteousness and anger.

Dawn matched his gaze and said indifferently, “Do I need your permission to shake my head? Who do you think you are?”

When has the Prince of Humans taken such a pompous attitude lightly? The burly guy was irritated and moved his backhand to slap Dawn. He wanted to teach this arrogant poser a lesson. Dawn was not to be taken lightly. He watched the hand move and tilted his head to the side, and the slap hit nothing but air.

Dawn’s gaze turned cold, and his right leg moved like a whip through the void, hitting the burly guy’s knee. The impact made the latter lose his balance, and Dawn raised his left knee to land a blow on the enemy’s temple.

A wizened voice sounded from the side when his knee was about to make contact, “Young friend, stay your hand.”

Dawn stopped. His knee was a mere inch away from the temple of the burly young man. The latter had calmed down; he did not have the same arrogance as he did a few moments ago. He broke out in a cold sweat.

He was sure of his capabilities, yet he knelt with just one move. How could he remain indifferent to that? Dawn said nothing and put his foot back on the pavement. He looked at the old man calmly.

The old man stepped up and smiled before he said, “I am Clement Sable. May I ask your name?”

“Dawn.” Replied the young man.

Clement raised his brow and said, “Such a wonderful name. You do seem to have the favor of the heavens.”

Dawn did not care about the lip service and said, “Old Sir, I still need to head back home. Goodbye.”

Clement was surprised and quickly regained his composure. He said, “Goodbye, see you around?”

Dawn nodded as he moved away from the two people. He was quick on his feet. The young man stood up from the ground and asked, “Grandpa, this guy is not simple.”

Clement said, “Damien, get me this guy’s information, but do it secretly.”

Damien asked, “Grandpa, could he be a student from one of those big forces?”

Clement shook his head and said, “His realm is too low, but his instincts and battle prowess are frighteningly sharp. He is higher in terms of martial control and application than you.”

Damien thought about it and said, “You are correct. He kicked my knee, and although the impact did not break my bones or ligaments, it did make me kneel. The force control was precise. I wonder how much training it needs.”

Clement nodded and said, “Well, let us go. I want to see all his details on my table by noon. We will come here tomorrow morning.”

The two old men left the place after Dawn, but none noticed that a slender figure watched them from a distance, and shock spilled over her face. Grace saw Dawn coming out for a run and then watched him work out. She was surprised because Dawn did not prefer going out at all.

However, her heart almost exploded when he brought Damien to his knees. She did not know what happened to this guy. It took her a long time to wake up from her daze. Collecting her senses, she walked back home. She had just reached the apartment entrance when she bumped into someone.

She raised her head to apologize, but her face turned pale. Grace quickly took two steps back and asked frightenedly, “What are you doing here?”

Opposite her stood a tall man wearing a royal blue silk shirt and black pants. His aura was uncontrolled, wild, and rampant. He smirked and asked, “Are you happy to see me, baby girl? Hahaha, I missed you too.”

Grace was disgusted and turned her face away from him. Onii was one of the biggest thugs in the city. No one wanted to deal with him. He had a history of harassing women, kidnappings, and murders. Grace did not wish to have to do anything with him.

Onii did not mind anything but smiled and asked, “I hear that your neighbor has returned from the doors of death. So, I came to visit him. Would you like to go with me?”

Grace raised her head in shock. She had not expected this. She was not a fool; now that the devil had come to her door, she realized how critical the situation had become. Onii had warned her in the past not to talk to any males. However, she was ignorant and headstrong.

She denied his advances and tried to carry on with life. Dawn was her only source of comfort at that time. Even when other people feared getting closer to her, he was silently beside her. He would follow her to school and then back home. She was not a fool to not know that he was trying to protect her.

Earlier, she thought that Dawn had fallen victim to a natural calamity. However, it was only now that she smelled something fishy. Onii saw her gazing at him in a daze, and he sneered.

He waved his hand and walked inside the apartment complex. He did not care about Grace. He enjoyed tormenting her. This way, she will not resist him anymore. The best way to break someone’s spirit was to kill the person who cared for them or kill the person they cared about.

Dawn cared about Grace, and so if he killed him before her, it would become easy for him to haunt the girl. The more he thought about it, the more excited he became. Soon, he arrived at the doorstep where his target lived.

However, at this moment, a figure blurred and appeared before him. Grace ran downstairs to the seventh floor to stop Onii from harming Dawn. She stood between him and the door. She said, “Why must you do this? He did not do anything wrong. Please leave, I beg you, please leave.”

She wanted to plead, but she did not know that the more she begged, the angrier Onii became. He smiled coldly and said, “Now, I want to see what’s so special about this punk.”

He pushed Grace to the side and loudly banged his fist against the door.
