He spots Amy at the arch, but before Redo could say anything Amy had already started talking "I hope you know I was gonna walk home alone any minute later" Redo smiled a little, his anxiety calms down a little,
"Sorry" he said half heartedly scratching the back of his head,
"You owe me more than an apology, you ditched without me as well and I couldn't find you when the fire alarm went off, scared the shit out of me. " Amy Rambled.
"Fire alarm?" Redo asks confused,
"Yeah, there was like a loud explosion in the philosophy room, and the fire alarm went off." Redo looked at Amy confused "What?" Amy asks, "I know you hang out there a lot but after the flash someone had gone in there and said there wasn't anything In there, so we just went back to it." Reassuring him "The room and teacher are fine" but that wasn’t what was on Redo's mind, he knew the teacher was ok, he was with her the whole time. “Anyway," Amy begins, looking towards the town "Town is probably busy but do you wanna go get some…Ice cream.” Amy tries asking, looking back to where Redo but before she could finish Redo had Vanished. Amy grits her teeth "damn it".
Redo couldn’t collect his thoughts on his way home, the streets were empty, the only thing he could hear was his watch humming a loud piercing noise, it was driving him crazy. Isn't the town supposed to be full of people? Redo thought all the stores were empty but they all had open signs. Actually, Redo didn’t know how he got to town. He was walking next to Amy, then he was next to the ice cream store. He knew Amy probably wanted to go to town and he wanted ice cream, he just doesn’t know how he got there so fast, ever since his daydream he’s had a miserable feeling, and his memories were messing with him. He could feel a darkness but at the exact moment he questioned the feeling, it faded, I'm so numb.. Just as that thought dissipated as well, Redo grips his hair whilst staring at the footpath, passing by a number of shops walking in an almost sway, he notices store owners had come out and were staring at him as if they weren't expecting somebody to be in town yet. Redo couldn't concentrate on anything, as they watched him walk, the blaring from his watch was the only thing he could interpret. My thoughts are leaving me, I just gotta get home He reassures himself, but doesn't know why he would think that. Rounding a bend to see his home, he worries he might find Amy at his door, so he waits at the corner of a nearby building, peaking around and breathes a sigh of relief. He doesn’t know how he would explain it to her, walking up to open his door, He checks his heart monitor which stopped screaming in his ear “107” He didn't know If he could trust anything said by the watch after it freaked out. Redo really wasn’t feeling like his usual self, almost like an older self, but not very clear minded, restricted almost. He closed his eyes, reaching for the door handle, his hand missing. Opening his eyes again, in his bedroom, the watch starts up again "Why won't you just shut up" he grips his wrist with the watch on it. He pauses and looks around his room, everything was right where he had left it. But it had lost its familiarity. “What’s happening..” He could hear footsteps thumping towards him, he looked towards his door. Then his bedroom door opens. “Hello, Son!” said the figure standing in the doorway,
“Hey mum,” Redo responded, trembling slightly, “I’m not feeling very well, where's the medicine?”, why did I ask for medicine he questioned himself, he doesn't remember them ever having medicine for this sort of thing.
“down the hallway to the left. In the bathroom, you know already.” Redo didn't know what she meant, but it had to make sense in his mind. He Stepped past his mother, still swaying a little bit, the wooden walls of his hallway seemed to almost pulse. Reaching the bathroom he stumbles a little catching himself, this will make everything better he told himself, but he didn't know why he said that, how'd he know it would get better? Suddenly he could hear a whisper behind him. “Stop.” but it wasn’t his mother, it was Amy, in the astral dimension. She was crying, Redo looked at her, she looked familiar to him, but Redo couldn’t hear her, "They're messing with your head, fight them!" Amy Begged, He takes the pill and looks blankly at Amy, still sobbing she tries to reach for the hand with the pill in it. But is thrown against the wall, black shadows whipped around Redo's body, his eyes glowing a deep purple, Redo raises his hand and swallows the pill, dropping unconscious to the floor.
Redo was once again in the crater but everything was the clearest it had ever been. His mother was holding him, he looks at her, she looks so much like Redo Hazel Green eyes short black hair, with the same facial structure as him Redo looks around, nothing remained of the middle school, she looks into the mist, "Redo I'm sorry." She says, anguish covering her face I can hear her now Redo thought as she raises her hand, gripping a knife. Then suddenly it was gone, the crater his mother and him as a boy, then Redo was back in school outside of E-class held down by quintus again "People with no power don't get to rise up" he says before maniacly laughing, before that disappears as well, the whole day disappears from Redo's mind. When suddenly he is lying down in a white room, Amy leaning on the side of his bed, she speaks softly.
"This is the old Redo right?" She asks eyes red.
Redo doesn't respond, "It's all my fault that they have to wipe your memories again." She mutters wiping her face. "I just couldn't keep lying to you." Redos eyes were an empty white. "Your dreams are the only things they can't change, the only place I can talk to you, they're gonna change things again Redo. Please." She starts crying into her arms. "Please don't let them win.." Amy looks up to see a tear rolling down Redos face before that too disappears.

Redo jolts awake, panting, where am I he thought to himself, panicking he goes to stand up before noticing there's someone sleeping on the ground next to him “Whos there?!” he yelled, the figure sits up. “It's just me,” the shadow rises, flipping a switch and the light comes on. Redo was in his bedroom, and the person was sleeping on the ground. Was Amy.
“You don’t have to make such a ruckus.”,
"Oh…” Redo calms down. Wait He thought “Why are you sleeping in my room?”,
“well, duh..” Amy responds.
“I’m your girlfriend, I stay with you, every other day of the week..” Redo sat in shock for a second, sure he was pretty close to Amy but he always thought there was some indifference between them that he had too much respect for when did this happen? He asks himself in his head. He lies back down, Amy notices his puzzled expression and walks up to Redo pulling him up and looking into his eyes, she asks "How could you ever forget me?" Redo doesn't know how to respond before Amy stands back for a second a disappointed expression on her face "I meant how are you able to forget I stayed your house." She laughs but the disappointed expression stays. "Yea, sorry" Redo replies, lying down again, when a wave of exhaustion washes over him, like he'd just had to endure massive mental stress yawning, but he doesn't want to sleep, he has too many questions checking his watch, “where did this crack come from?” He thought, feeling the crack on the surface of his watch, accidentally turning the screen on 2 am it read. Amy lay back down next to Redo bed, where an improvised bed was built, "You should go back to sleep, we do have school tomorrow". Amy tells him solemnly, before rolling over facing away from Redo. He stared at his ceiling, he felt wide awake, like he'd just had some sort of reset, but ended up falling asleep a few minutes later.
Amy woke him up and she was already changed for school, “Your mum left breakfast out on the kitchen bench, you can take it with us while we are walking.” Amy said giving him his clothes, Redo still half asleep sits up and blinks at Amy who's looking at him with a dull expression, Redo tilts his head curiously before she breaks into a smile, leaving his clothes on the bed and heading leaving the room. What's up with her Redo wondered.
After changing heads down stairs, Redo felt sleepy but nothing out of the ordinary. After changing and heading to the kitchen, he sees Amy sitting on the bench, staring blankly into the ground, before perking up when Redo came around. “You ok Amy?” Redo asks
“Of course, why wouldn’t I?” Redo didn’t know either, and sat down next to her, his mother greeting him
“Good morning boy, hope you slept well!” Passing him a glass of water, with a pill “There! Remember to take your hay fever medicine!” Redo sighed before swallowing the pill, noticing they were both staring at him while he drank, he saw the breakfast Amy spoke of, Redo's eyes widened as he saw a massive bacon and egg sandwich covered in melted cheese, Amy hands him the sandwich, getting up and grabbing her bag.“We’ll be off now!” Amy yells, waving Redo over to leave, his bag had already been packed, everyone's being so weird he thought. Redo thinks back about What Amy had said the previous night, that she was his girlfriend and that she'd been staying the night for ages, but everytime he tried to think about the past he got a fuzzy feeling and couldn't see any clear images, Amy was looking back to his house as it got further away before facing him, “Hey your mum looked pretty today don’t you think?” She noted, “She had her beautiful blonde hair in a low ponytail and she was rocking it!”, “yeah” Redo responded, `` Blonde hair..? Why does that sound so wrong? They arrived at school heading their separate ways, Amy hugs Redo before splitting up, if felt wrong to him. He heads to class.
The school day was uneventful he didn't really remember his first 3 classes, Redo was a great student and seemed to understand everything immediately after being told, at least when it came to education, Redo was heading to P.E for his fourth period, leaving E-class he gets a flash of Deja vu and jumps as if something was gonna get in his way at the door of the classroom. What am I doing? He thought. Looking around and seeing nothing. Shakes his head walking to P.E.
Mr Chen was very strict that day, talking about injuries to Type-0's calling them weak, and that the other Types need to be more careful. Redo didn't remember any incident but apparently he was the only one who didn't have any injuries, which confused him, Mr Chen wasn't a bad teacher. He taught them how their powers can be used physically, obviously biased but Redo didn’t really care, he was just told to sit and watch with the other 0-types, who still tease him for being a triple-0. Absolute bottom of the barrel Redo hated P.E, his vision wandered around. Peaking at the leaderboard, he could see that Amy still sat at the top of the total power ranking with 94, smiling. He watched as the two hottest heads in the class, the brainiac who had been the worst offender in bullying Redo, Quintus and someone else, Redo recognized but he swore he’d never met him before. “What was his name?” He thought “Davon…” Redo got a sudden pain in his head, lurching forward in pain. “Oi, the triple cripple is freaking out” , get a hold of yourself Redo told himself, someone taps him on the shoulder, Redo looks up to see Davon helping him up, “Hey...man, you don’t have to.” Redo tried to say. Davon didn’t say anything, he just walked the two of them down a door over to the nurse, where Davon explained what he saw, and the nurse took over. She sits Redo down in a small cubicle white room with no windows, just a bed and the door. “What's wrong dear?” she asks while checking my heart monitor, “90 bpm? Anything been causing you a lot of stress recently?” she asked,
“No, I just felt a sharp pain in my chest..I don’t remember what caused It I was watching one of th-”,
“oh you poor thing” The nurse interrupted, “I know your and 0-type, watching the others do things you can’t must have caused a sudden panic attack!”. “What” Redo thought in his head, well it was true he was watching the two highest performers play he didn’t feel any resentment or anything of the sorts, confused he listened. The nurse continued her speal about jealousy. Redo felt a dark feeling well up, something he hadn't felt in a while.
“Could you shut up” Redo spoke up almost by accident.
