Cale stepped out of a black car. He had a dark business suit layered over a crisp white dress shirt, the jacket draped over his shoulders with the buttons undone, lending him an effortlessly commanding presence. He walked straight through a crowd of people, left and right. Cale walked with a calm and serious look on his face. Everyone cheered his name from left and right.
Cale walked until he reached the end of the cheering crowd, where some people—men and women—stood in black business suits guarding the entrance to a Subway Station that led downstairs. They had an emblem with "F. R. U" written on their right pocket. Upon seeing Cale, every one of them immediately saluted him and shouted, "Greetings, Sir Dark Scythe!"
Cale merely nodded his head as he approached them and stood in front of the Subway Station, staring downstairs with a calm and serious expression on his face.
The Fracture Restorer's Alliance offices looked at him in awe, but they noticed Cale was staring downstairs. A girl quickly started speaking, "Sir, this Subway Station has a C+-Rank Fracture and..."
Cale looked at the girl who was speaking and smiled, closing his eyes for a moment.

Cale walked through the Subway Station alone. His footsteps echoed through the entire station. The Subway Station was in bad condition, with destroyed pillars, ceiling, and floors. Some escalators were still running, while others were not. Some lights were lit and some did not work.
Cale looked at the destroyed place left and right, keeping his guard up. He noticed sword marks on the walls and floor, blood here and there. But Cale looked at it with a calm expression and keen eyes. He didn’t look bothered at all by the sight.
‘I have become Level (Lvl) 39, but I have not gotten above that. It’s been 20 days since I killed the Green Serpent.’ Cale was lost in his own thoughts with his hands in his pockets.
‘But at least I could use the System Shop. I need to buy necklaces for Minho, Mother, and myself.’ Cale thought as he looked down and saw a red necklace on his chest. ‘I made Minho take his part of revenge. I won’t allow anyone to hurt my family. For that, not only I but Minho also have to be strong... I just hope he keeps practicing and never stops getting stronger.’ Cale took another escalator and started to move down.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
‘I hope Soojin will somehow take custody of "The Great Dragon Lair" Fracture. If those Americans don’t comply, then I’ll have to use other methods.’ Cale thought, furrowing his brows. ‘Either way. I don’t like nuisances in my way.’ Cale thought as he got off the escalator and started walking again.
‘Furthermore, another quest was issued by the System.’ Cale thought as a glowing yellow floating System Panel appeared in front of him.
[Quest: Control your powers more efficiently and improve your mental health!]
[Rewards: Mental health improvement, more efficient control over your powers, and 30,000 System Store points]
[Accepted!]
‘Apparently, it seems like using Monarch's Blood had quite the impact on my mental health.’ Cale thought as he walked and closed the System Panel in front of him with a wave of his hand.
‘I guess everything has a negative effect, but thankfully there is a way to cancel this negative effect.’ Cale smiled a little at the thought of canceling the negative effect.
Cale took out the Subway Station map and looked at it while thinking, ‘Every time I used it, my Stats were increased by 4 and sometimes 5. And even the abilities/Techniques were raised by 1 rank, if they could. That is.’ Cale put the map inside his inventory and started walking again. ‘But I also felt incredible power and let my true maniac self control me.’
Cale sensed something and snapped his fingers. A Dark Scythe appeared from the vortex formed by the snapping of his fingers, but this time, the Dark Scythe had dark energy flowing out of it.
Cale narrowed his eyes and looked into the darkness of the Subway Station, sensing some energy flowing out of it, approaching him. ‘That must be where the C+-Rank Fracture is. I should probably go and check it out—’ Cale did not finish his sentence when suddenly a upside down dark, short-haired young boy in a dark hoodie and pants appeared in front of him.
Cale’s eyes widened a bit in surprise, but he did not fear or show any reaction. Both of them looked at each other for a moment before Cale said, "I told you not to come out until I say so!" Cale looked a little annoyed by his sudden appearance.
"But, Master, I didn’t want to stay hidden inside the Scythe any longer. I couldn’t watch you walk alone without speaking or showing any reaction." The boy threw a tantrum as soon as he appeared, throwing his hands in the air like a child and whining.
Cale placed his index and thumb on his brow while looking down as he listened to him talk. Cale looked at him still talking, ‘After I upgraded my Dark Scythe, this guy appeared, and as soon as he did, he started whining like a immature girl calling me his Dad.’
Cale grabbed him by his collar. "Quiet down, idiot," Cale said, just loud enough for the boy to hear, but it was almost like a whisper. ‘He is so annoying! If this is what having kids feels like, then I’d rather decline the offer!’ Cale thought as he let the boy go and started walking again.
The energy of the Fracture became clearer and clearer and denser as they got closer. The boy walked behind him like a baby cat. Cale was visibly annoyed but kept his mouth shut. Why? Well, because if he talked, the boy would start talking again, and he didn’t want to risk it.
After a few minutes of walking, the boy started talking again. "When are we going to get there? My legs are tired~" Cale stopped and looked back at him while holding the Scythe tightly in his hands. "I will kill you, Darkie!" Cale calmly and angrily said.
Darkie, scared by Cale, quickly shouted while pointing behind Cale, "Look, there’s the Fracture!" Cale looked back, saw the C+-Rank Fracture, looked back at Darkie, and said, "You won’t be so lucky next time," and started walking inside the Fracture. Darkie smiled at Cale and quickly ran behind Cale. "Wait for me, Master!" and entered the Fracture as well.
