RE: Orc
2.- School?

2.- School?

Author’s note:

First of all, thank you for reading this. The chapter is again short: I’ve written it with the mobile while in the train and eating. Also, I will do this story quite participative, so here it go a poll:

This chapter won’t be game style.

Chapter 2:

I fought for breathing. All of my body was tense; a birth is quite violent for the child, of course. And quite disgusting, by the way. While I was looking at myself, covered in amniotic liquid and blood, I heard someone speaking, almost screaming:

“Whoa, how cute!”

I discarded the fact that I could understand such a language: full of growls and squeaks. I looked there and I saw her. My mother. She was panting, but the blood and tiredness didn’t hide her beauty. Because there was nothing to hide.

‘Such a hideous being, how it can exist?’ I wonder to myself. Finding difficult to continue looking to that monster, I searched for my father. ‘A full-fledged goblin. No, wait, that is an orc. Yeah, I’m pretty sure; they are like the orcs in the Lord of the rings. No, wait a moment, then… ’

I looked to myself, and I sank into despair. 'I'm a fucking orc!'. While I was still in the floor, howling on my knees, someone put me in my mother’s arms. I cursed all the gods, while pondering if this was some type of torture in hell.

How ignorant I was back then. The torture had just started.

Time passed, and I experienced more harshness in seven years than in my 57 years of life on Earth. I thought many time about killing myself, but I thought that the damned goddess wouldn’t be happy, so I persevered.

First of all, some type of council decided that I was robust and healthy enough to survive (if not, you will be thrown to death in some cliff). I never used diaper (not that I needed it), because they said that would damper my resistance to hot and cold. They also throw me in dark places at night to overcome the fear of darkness. No whining or grumbling were allowed: just adamant discipline.

By the way, when I was three, my little sister was born. She had a cute face (for an orc), and her squeaks were lovely. But I will speak of her later.

When I was seven, I was told to go to school. I thought that this was my opportunity to shine. I wanted to read and write, and cultivate myself. Books are always great sources of information, and what I have learned till know is quite limited. I couldn’t be more wrong.

It is true that I started learning how to read and write (just a bit), enough to read the only book in the village: military chants by Tirteus. He was considered a poet, although his most beautiful verse was: “it is beautiful to die, in the first line of battle, as a brave orc that fight for his people”. We were separated of our family, and a tutor was in charge of us. He supervised the training that we do in our military unit (at seven years old!!), that consisted in 10 male orcs. The leader was a 19 year old guy, called Krul that was in his last year of schooling.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

I didn’t have close friends, because I was considered to rebellious and softhearted. But I hanged around with Khel. He helped me to endure the “physical training”, which consisted in brutal thrashings. While he was not very intelligent, I liked his bluntness.

Between beatings, running laps, military training, and very few food (Krul said that we could steal it, but if we were discovered we would be trashed because of our incompetence doing it), I became twelve. The first period of education would end, and we would receive our first sword. Our class was standing in line, while the village leader was speaking of the greatness of orcs.

Khel: “Hey, are you nervous?” asked me, whispering.

Me: “Why should I?”

Khel: “What do you mean by that? We are fighters know! We can defend the village against the puny humans and other beasts”

While I was doubting that for any other race the beats will be us, our tutor started to give us a sword, in the Lord of the rings style. I looked at it incredulously, wondering how it was supposed to slash someone with it. Then we sang a military hymn, and we were given a free day, the first in 5 years.

Khel: “Let’s go!” shouted, while grabbing my arm.

We arrived to the river next to the village. Khel catch his sword and said

“Let’s practice”

Me: “Oi, Kehl, we have a day of rest, I don’t wanna train”

Kehl: “Do you know who Hannah is?” I nodded. “I’m in love with her”.

After that bomb, I recollected that orcs grow faster than humans.

“I’m in love with her, and I want to be strong enough to protect her. When I became 15, I will ask her to mate with me”. He waited a moment. Realizing that I was too surprised to speak, he continued: “That’s why I want to train”. He readied his sword.

I sighed. “You are really…” I attacked him with my sword before he could continue speaking.

I must say that I was quite talented, principally because I studied a bit of martial arts back on Earth. Our swords clashed, and we fought until our arms were numb.

Kehl: ”Let’s play in the river” said before laughing.

I was in the ground panting heavily like a pig. My physical resistance was normal, not like Kehl, who was a monster. However, I accepted his offer.

Suddenly, some female orcs, including Hannah and my sister appeared. The girls giggled seeing our naked torsos, and Kehl blushed like a virgin. Really, he was too much in love.

Me: “Yo, come here and play with us!”

The girls weren’t sure, but my sister started running to me. Then the rest followed her.

Sister: “Oni-chan, I missed you!” said tackling me.

I laughed a bit, while patting her head.

Before that I should explain some things about my sister.

Well, it is short again, but it arrived to 1k words. Sorry about the mistakes; and next chapter longer!

Next chapter about the sister.
