As the preparation is all done, Mark places his hand on the front before he immediately closes it and crushes the pangolin inside the cube killing it in the process.

Mark smiles, as he kills the beast since he thinks that they going to win this battle. But his thought was cut short as another pangolin appeared on top of him.

"Shit," Mark said as he tried to dodge the attack from above. As Mark dodged it, "Boom" A huge explosion was created as the pangolin smashed the ground where Mark had previously stood. The pangolin was also able to make the whole battlefield shake and crumble.

Because of it, Mark flies a few meters away from the epicenter. But thanks to his ability to cover himself in a thin layer of barrier, he was able to survive in a surprise attack. Mark looked to the front where the other pangolin at but to his surprise five more stone pangolins appeared.

Mark tried to think in his mind, how he was able to defeat the five more beasts since the technique he used a few minutes ago was useless on the large group of monsters. As he thought and thought about he was defending and dodging the attack of the five beasts.

To the point that even Kiefer saw Mark from the distance. As Kiefer sees him struggling in the fight, he starts helping Mark without hesitation. So he starts to launch some vine in the direction where is mark currently fighting.

Mark surprised to see a group of vines was coming in his direction. The vine was able to stop and bind the two of the giant stone pangolins in the process. Thanks to that Mark smiled as now that he was able to focus more on the remaining three. Mark clenched his fist tightly as he covered it with a barrier to his elbow, he punched one of the pangolins who was charging at him. With the strength of the punch and the amount of dark energy within it, he was able to break the hard stone scale of the pangolin and leave it dead in the process.

So a few minutes later, Mark was able to kill the remaining two pangolins as the other two were still binding on the vines. Mark walks towards the bounded pangolins while Kiefer also appears behind him.

A few hours back on the time the battle was ongoing on the Trinidad outpost. All of the student of the talipapa grand school where Apo and Tern is were still inside Baguio City. The buses of the students were moving so slowly that they were stuck in the huge traffic.

Apo and Tern were busy watching TV on their cell phones since some of them wanted to know the situation on the battlefield. It is all because they all can see the amount of the reporter is starting to grow. They also can hear the noise of the helicopter monitoring the ground. To the point that most of the channels on the cellphone were the news of this invasion.

As all of this is happening, apo leaves on the bus just to get some fresh air since it to suffocate him if he was on the bus for a few hours more. Apo starts to look around the area to see how long they have to stay in the long traffic.

"Toot toot" Apo hears the deafening noise of every car as he walks on the road. But to apo,s thought, it was useless since the moving speed of each of every car right now is 1km per hour.

He even looks in one of the cups of water near him to make sure about it. So he immediately goes back to the bus as he wants to warn everyone that something is about to come. But before he can enter the bus, he is suddenly pushed around by a group of people as they are running in front of Apo. As Apo looks at it, he suddenly feels cold on his spine when he sees a group of phantom beasts attacking people.
