Inside the bus, tern was watching on his cell phone when he heard a large boom outside. He was shocked as he suddenly heard it, to the point that he suddenly dropped his phone to the ground. As everyone was panicking on the bus.

Tern immediately picks up his phone, as he starts to look outside. As he looks out the window, he sees some people running to the road as if something is happening in the center of the city.

So together with Marie and his other classmate, they immediately go outside to see what is going on. But everyone was shocked to see multiple monsters attacking the city. To the point that they all start to witness some civilian lying dead or being eaten by quantum beasts.

"What are we going to do," one of his classmates said, since as everyone witnessed it, some of their classmates started to run away for fear that they may die on the spot. Eventually, Tern, Marie, and the others remain as they are thinking about what are they going to do. But suddenly they start to see Apo charging at the quantum beast as he starts fighting it.

Apo parkouring in the road as he was passing by some civilians. To the point that he was starting to create a trail of black smoke on the road. Since his ability was activated and sword was also coated with black smoke. As the quantum beast is rampaging on the city.

One of the beasts "The Shadow Lion " suddenly appeared in front of him, it attacked and killed all the citizens nearby to the point that the road was now painted red. The beast had a dark fiery fur and a dark smoky mane on his neck. It also classified as to be a mid-class quantum beast. As it rampages, the lion sees some kids trapped in the car. He up his paw with its claws in the air as the lion attacks the car. But in the neck of time, apo was able to block the attack with his sword and save the kids in time.

When some of his classmates see it. They are all inspired by Apo's actions, so they all start doing the same. Tern, Marie, and the others who are fighters start to help Apo kill some beasts in the city. While the rest of his classmates are helping the civilians to evacuate.

Even the other students from the different classes are also joining, to the point that it starts to great some small army of students that are fighting the monsters in the city. As Apo continuously fights and blocks the lion's attack, while thinking the way of defeating it. But suddenly a metallic yoyo smashes the lion's head stunning it in the process. When Apo sees it, he immediately takes that chance to kill it, as he slices the lion's been off.

After killing the lion, apo suddenly comments "Why are you late" as Tern appears next to him. "Sorry, it's so traffic right now" he jokingly reply. "Since I'm not as aggressive as you," Tern said.

As Apo hears it, he starts to roll his eyes in sarcasm, since he knows it is not true. After they are done with the conversation, apo immediately opens the door of the car, freeing up the kids inside. When the kids are now out, they immediately hug Apo and thank him for saving them from the beast a moment ago. Apo also hugs the kids back, he passes them to one of his classmates so they now can evacuate the city.

After the kids got away, tern said to Apo "Are you ready" as he looked at him on the side. Apo smiles as hears it, he laughs, before saying "If he can keep up". Reminiscing the time they both race in the park.

As one of the beasts roars, Apo and Tern start to charge into the battle.
