Later that night, Maria, Kenny, and Zachariah are at Maria's farmhouse away from the city. They ate ice cream in the kitchen and discussed what happened earlier.

Maria sighs in despair as she thought, I should have known.. I should have seen this coming… this won’t end well for any of us…

“Hey. Hey! We let everybody know that Ace Slayers are BACK!” Kenny joked out loud as he laughed.

Maria approached Kenny and whispered, “Don’t ever say that again. Those days are long gone.” She then spoke to everyone. “All right. All right. Let's forget this... whole thing, okay?”

“How can we forget?!” Zachariah argued. “MUSCA is not going to forget about this. You're lucky the vast majority of those people were stupid.”

“No one ever saw it coming. Not even her.” Maria admitted.

“Yeah, what about her? She got tagged by that mini guns?” Kenny openly mocked.

Zachariah scoffed, “Tagged? Oh! No, she made it out alive. She was on the evening news holding a frightened child. The same child who gave you that hug, Maria.”

“Yeah, that was beautiful. Beautiful!” Kenny laughed.

“She is in the hospital right now. So what's next?” Zachariah wondered.

“Don't know. Don't care-- To me, this will be a dead issue forever.” Maria said.

“You're probably worth 50 times much trying to kill 50 families--”

“The crown is more worried about the next one than me,” Maria said.

“Hell, you can go up to old bitch right now and tell her to kiss the ring or the floor--!”

“KENNY, SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Maria shouted.

Kenny scoffed at her sister’s anger as he left the kitchen with his ice cream.

“What an ass...” Zachariah said. “Well... Welcome back, headhunter.”

Maria didn’t know if this was a good or a bad thang. Still, the church has to be protected.

Suddenly, she received a call and excused herself to the other room.

She didn’t have to look at the Caller ID; Maria knew who it was, “I am so happy you called... Yes, my sister wanted--” She heard what the call had to say. “Okay. Well... Then do it.” She decided over the phone. “No, that is taken out of context. The real saying is, ‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the womb's water.’ You have my blessing. I’ll be there tomorrow to see you both. No one will recognize us, I promise. Tomorrow.”
