Under the veil of the gentle rain that fell, mingling indistinctly with the tears that perhaps ran down Morfrey's face, a moment of deep transformation was unfolding. The magic of resurrection had reanimated those lost to Morfrey's great profane magic, who now surrounded the architect of their fall, in a silence that spoke volumes. Among them, Relon, now brought back to the weaving of life, and Lilla, approached Morfrey with a solemnity that preceded a fraternal judgment.
Lilla, with her hand outstretched, touched Morfrey, her words carried the weight of entwined love and betrayal, "You chose your path brother, perhaps the desire of your heart was really to do some good, but you corrupted yourself along the way!" The sincerity of her voice cut through the fog of despair, trying to reach what remained of the man Morfrey once was.
Relon, in turn, joined Lilla's appeal, his hand on Morfrey transmitted not just a physical touch, but the hope of redemption. "You made me want to be a hero, brother, your stories, your desire, the glow in your eyes attracted me to it. I suffered, I cried, I was humiliated, I was never like you, you were the strongest, tallest and most beautiful of the Aquarions, the jewel in the emperor's crown, perhaps being so high prevented you from seeing what our father saw, what I saw". Relon's pause was laden with emotion, "I saw that a true hero is one who faces the smallest things in life, the true hero is one who understands what is small in the face of the great difficulties he has to face, but a hero is also one who knows he will not face the battle alone." His gaze then turned to Lilla and Kal, a smile of understanding and camaraderie illuminating his face.
Relon continued, strengthening his message, "I believe that there is a home for the real-life warriors after their deaths, but that home is achieved through effort and struggle, and you took away the opportunity for many people to struggle for that home!" Relon's final accusation was not just a judgment, but a reminder of the value of shared struggle and the true nature of heroism.
Morfrey, still standing before Kal, feeling his brothers' hands on him, in a final desperate act, clings to the black scythe lying on the ground and, rising quickly, forces an attack against Relon. "I'm not mistaken!!" Morfrey exclaims. However, before he can reach his brother, he is struck hard in the face by a punch from Kal that knocks him to the ground with such force that one of his horns is broken, creating a crack in his demonic armor.
Morfrey, lying on the ground, asks Kal: "Is there really something on the other side?". Looking at Morfrey, Kal replies: "There's no way of knowing, perhaps for those who believe!". Morfrey then places his right hand on his face. "I need to be sure, I need to know they went there. As for me, I don't care about paying for all my sins, but I need to believe they went to a better place!". The crack in Morfrey's demonic armor increases brutally.
Turning his back on him, Kal concludes: "No one has the right to decide who lives or dies, even in the worst conditions. The opulent and arrogant men you fought left the people dying in misery and ostracism because they thought themselves gods on Earth. You killed them for the same reason. You are not a god, Morfrey, no one is".
After hearing Kal's words, Morfrey realizes that his choices led him closer to what he abhorred. At that moment, Elanor arrives, still tearful over Aster and Luck, and shouts: "Luck told me how he first met you. You believed he was the leader of the gang trafficking drugs into the capital, but Luck would never do such a thing. He was investigating and tracing the path of those drugs because they were manufactured in Volkaron, my country".
Morfrey then understands that he had condemned the soul of an innocent person, and that his perceptions were not the absolute truths of the world. "I was never a hero. Sebastian, Luck, Tiberius, my parents, my sister, all of them... I took from them the chance to become heroes of their own stories. I cannot be the hero, I am the villain!".
In the shadow of a battlefield marked by the sadness of a fraternal conflict, Morfrey rises up, a figure ravaged by pain and regret. The words come from his lips with a gloomy resignation, "I no longer have salvation, the last thing I can do is give you the opportunity to defeat the villain." Although his gaze, laden with a fierce determination, reveals the depth of his anguish. Wounded, his body no longer possesses the same strength and agility that once made him formidable, but still he advances, propelled by a last desire for redemption through confrontation.
Relon, recognizing the magnitude of the moment, positions himself at the front of the group, assuming leadership with a gravity peculiar to him. "We will take care of the family, Lilla," he says, with a voice that carries both the promise of protection and the weight of an imminent battle. Lilla, by his side, nods in agreement, preparing for combat. United, they advance toward Morfrey, prepared to face what may be the final act of a tragedy that united and separated them.
The ensuing clash is less a test of physical strength and more a battle of wills, where the wounded Morfrey faces not only Lilla and Relon, but also the weight of his own past choices. Despite his wounds and clear disadvantage, Morfrey fights with a ferocity that even surprises his opponents. Each blow he strikes carries with it the hope that, in the end, his defeat may somehow purge his errors.
Lilla and Relon, for their part, prove formidable. Their mutual understanding and coordination are impeccable, the fruits of a life shared in the shadows of a world that rarely offers second chances. They dance around Morfrey, their attacks are calculated and precise, intended to subdue him without causing irreparable harm. They fight not with a desire for vengeance, but with a sense of duty that transcends the personal, a need to bring an end to a cycle of violence that consumed far more than just their lives.
As the battle unfolds, it becomes evident that the outcome is already sealed. Morfrey, despite his determination, cannot overcome the disadvantage of his wounds and his opponents' superior skill. Although fierce, the fight approaches its end with Lilla and Relon controlling the battlefield. This moment marks not just the climax of a physical battle, but also the turning point in an emotional journey for all involved. It is a scene laden with meaning, marking the end of an era of conflict and the beginning of an uncertain future, but finally free from the shackles of the past.
As the fight between Morfrey and his siblings, Lilla and Relon, unfolded, all those present watched intensely. Morfrey, clearly weakened by his wounds, tried to attack them, but his strength was no longer the same. With each movement, the difference in vigor and endurance between him and his siblings became more evident, highlighting the disadvantage at which he found himself.
Meanwhile, Lua, Gwen and the elf warriors' arrival in the capital marked a new chapter in the conflict. Their presence promised to reinforce resistance against adversarial forces, bringing new hopes for the outcome of the fratricidal struggle.
The battle continued and, with the cessation of rain, the blows exchanged between Morfrey and his siblings took on an even more dramatic character. Lilla noticed that Morfrey was struggling to keep his eyes open, a sign of his exhaustion and proximity to his limit.
In a moment of silence, despite the absence of words, Morfrey felt a change in the air. Looking at Lilla and Relon's faces, he saw not hatred, but a glimpse of forgiveness. This perception brought an unexpected feeling to Morfrey's heart, a sensation of peace amidst the chaos.
When the rain finally stopped completely, Morfrey raised his scythe for the last time. Weak, with the weapon raised to the skies, he closed his eyes, allowing himself a faint smile. In this final moment, he was surprised to feel pride in his siblings. The realization that he was still capable of such feelings, even at the end, was a comfort to his tormented soul. "May this lineage last forever!" thought Morfrey before fully losing consciousness.
With the end of the great war and Morfrey's departure, the capital erupted in celebrations. Cries of jubilation acclaimed Relon, king of the waters, and his sister Lilla, the warrior princess, as the heroes of Nannu. The relieved and grateful people exalted their names fervently.
After enduring the emotional and physical tempest, Lilla, under the weight of loss and mourning, allowed herself a moment of vulnerability. In a quiet corner, she cried for memories of her family and homeland, shedding the last tears of mourning a warrior princess could offer.
Relon, now shouldering the duties of a king, was consumed by thoughts of how to restore the capital and help his people rebuild their lives. Despite the pain he felt for the loss of his brother, he remained steadfast and dignified, a true image of royalty in times of reconstruction.
Kal, alongside Katara, celebrated the end of darkness. Katara, struggling to keep Kohaku away from Kal, shared in the joy of victory, marking the beginning of a new era of light and hope.
With the ending of the rain, the sky opened, bathing Alnuum with the rays of the sun. The black shadow that once spread darkness and fear had been dissipated, promising a future of peace and prosperity for the land and its people.
As the dust from battle settled, Suzannah was gathered with Alister, Shun and the newly arrived Terona. Despite the air of victory hovering, Suzannah did not share in the general enthusiasm. "Finally, it's over!" said Shun, relieved. Trying to cheer her up, Alister suggested, "What's wrong, Suzannah? Let's drink tonight!" But despite the invitations to celebrate, Suzannah remained absorbed in her thoughts, aware that this was not the time to share her concerns.

In contrast to the celebrations, Arthan found himself in a solemn moment of reflection. He approached where Marcus's body lay, a scene that marked the price of victory so ardently achieved. With the remains of Marcus's armor in hand, Arthan rose up, a figure of determination and promise. In silence, he swore to honor his father's legacy, resolved to follow in his heroic footsteps.
Elanor, aware of the challenges still to come, took the initiative to convene a meeting with Kal and the resistance leaders. The need to discuss the future and plan reconstruction was evident. The war had ended, but the task of healing the kingdom's wounds and rebuilding what was lost was only beginning.
This time of transition was marked by mixed emotions. While some celebrated victory, others like Suzannah and Arthan reflected on the losses and sacrifices made. The meeting called by Elanor symbolized the beginning of a new chapter, one in which unity and hard work would be essential to overcome the adversities left by war.
The sunlight now bathing Alnuum offered a symbolism of renewal and hope. The darkness that once covered the land had been dispelled, but the scars of battle reminded all that peace was a precious commodity, won through effort and sacrifice. It was a time to look ahead, with determination to rebuild not just physical structures, but also the lives of those affected by conflict.
In the serene Fox Village, Kal's return was awaited with a mixture of anxiety and hope by his siblings. Their gazes turned to the horizon when Leon and Shiera appeared, carrying Sebastian's lifeless body. The impact of the sight was immediate, a mournful silence fell upon the place, marking the return not as a celebration, but as mourning.
Received by Ana Felwave, the family's matriarch, the encounter was a mix of relief and deep sorrow. Ana, with a broken mother's heart, embraced her surviving children, thanking the gods for their safety, before turning to Sebastian's body. With eyes full of tenderness and sadness, she lamented her son's transformation from a simple, happy child to a fallen warrior, questioning the cruelties he faced. It was then that Shiera revealed the prolonged presence of an unknown being that inhabited Sebastian's body.
Gifted with a unique ability in blood magic, Ana possessed the technique of detection and knowledge through blood that was Silvus Felwave's specialty. Determined to uncover the truth, she used her technique on Sebastian's body. What she discovered was a mystery that deepened: Sebastian had been there all along, but there was something more, a hidden presence that had inhabited his body for years.
Deepening her technique, Ana detected a mark that had accompanied Sebastian for many years. This sign indicated not only the longevity of this occult presence, but also the complexity of what was before her. The discovery that someone could have possessed her son's body for so long brought a new dimension of horror and perplexity to Ana.
In the still of night, under the ruins of the former capital Alnuum, the resistance army established its camp, seeking refuge and rest after battles fought. While silence reigned and their companions rested, Relon, carrying the weight of mourning, moved away with the body of Morfrey, his brother, in his arms. He walked towards the site destined for the kings' mausoleum, located at the heart of what was once the majestic palace of Aquarion.
In the darkness, Relon began the solitary work of digging a grave, tears clouding his vision, but determined to offer his brother a dignified rest. Then Kal, moved by friendship and shared respect, joined him, bringing a shovel and offering his support with simple words: "Come on, Morin, I'll help you." A smile of gratitude and camaraderie lit up Relon's face, even amidst sadness.
It wasn't long before Lilla arrived, carrying flowers and the tacit understanding that only twins share. "I figured you'd do this, after all we're twins, aren't we?" she expressed, recognizing her brother's need to honor Morfrey. Little by little, more friends gathered around them, each contributing to the burial, transforming Relon's solitary act into a collective moment of mourning and respect.
With the grave finally ready and Morfrey placed in his last bed, Relon and his friends, heads bowed in reverence, prepared for the final farewell. It was Lilla who, understanding the moment, began reciting the ancient blessing of departure for the Aquarion kings, "Morfrey Angelus Artal Aquarion, now resides in the mansions of his ancestors, he will return to the fountain of waters as he was born, Morfrey Artal Aquarion, for King Angelus fulfilled his duty and guided his people to a better world, may the great waves of Acuos guide him to eternity." Lilla finished honoring Morfrey not just as a brother, but as a king who, in life, fought for a better world. Her words echoed into the night, promising that Morfrey Angelus Artal Aquarion would find peace in the mansions of his ancestors, guided by the great waves of god Acuos to eternity.
At dawn, after the burial's end and farewells, a new day was born, marking the beginning of a new era for Alnuum and its inhabitants. Suzannah, observing from afar, still carried concerns that did not allow her to fully share in the relief felt by many. She sought out Kal, needing to discuss her disquiet and led him to where Alister, Shun, Teron and Arthan already awaited her, summoned for a crucial meeting.
Suzannah expressed her concern, revealing her experience of over 400 years as Salacia's servant, the avatar of witchcraft, and the incomparable power she felt, something Morfrey, despite his strength, did not possess. Alister, alarmed, questioned the gravity of the threat the avatars could represent, a concern Suzannah confirmed, indicating they were indeed much more powerful.
Kal shared his own experience with an avatar, a great owl representing fauna whose sublime and powerful aura had previously aided him. This encounter with the owl reinforced Suzannah's words, raising the existence of entities whose capacities transcended common understanding, suggesting that despite victory over Morfrey, even greater challenges could be on the horizon.
Though grim, the conversation was necessary. It prepared the group for the possibility of new threats, while pondering Alnuum's reconstruction and the safety of its people. Elanor's, the high king of the Elaria elves, return and promise of aid in reconstruction and kingdom protection offered some solace, but the meeting made clear the peace conquered could merely be a prelude to even greater challenges.
With the threat of ancient and formidable powers looming over them, the group recognized the importance of remaining vigilant and united. The journey ahead would require not just strength, but also wisdom and solid alliances to face whatever destiny held in store for them and the kingdom of Alnuum.
As dawn arrived, marking the end of a long night, the group gathered by Suzannah found themselves in an isolated place, prepared to discuss pending matters still casting shadows over the newly conquered peace. The unexpected arrival of Relon, Lilla, and other companions to the meeting place evidenced the importance of issues still unresolved, expanding the circle of trust and concern among allies. Suzannah, with her millennial experience, expressed concerns about powers that transcended the threat Morfrey represented, pointing to a reality where entities of incommensurable power, like the avatars, remained a latent threat.
Kal's mention of his encounter with the Fauna Avatar added a layer of complexity to the discussion, suggesting that the world was full of forces they were just beginning to understand. Lua's intervention, bringing promises of answers through Ellanon's wisdom and the prospect of a journey to Arlathania, the capital of the Elarian kingdom, opened new paths for the pursuit of knowledge and preparation against future threats.
The meeting unfolded as a turning point, where each revelation dug up more questions about power, loyalty and the true challenges awaiting. Lilla's doubt about Morfrey's intentions regarding Kal touched on profound issues of destiny and choice, underscoring the intricate web of connections and fates that united them.
This moment of collective unity and determination reflected the understanding that, despite the victory achieved, the fight against the shadows of the world was a continuous journey. They recognized that rebuilding the kingdom and ensuring its safety would demand not just strength and courage, but also a ceaseless pursuit of wisdom and alliances. Their commitment to face together the mysteries and challenges the future held in store was a testimony to the resilience and hope that guided them.
As they conversed, in the distance a sinister shadow appeared, even at a distance all felt the chills that made them look in the direction the shadow was in however before they could alarm, a voice rose to their ears. "I am Primordius, the avatar of death, servant of the god Necros, do not fear me nor prepare to fight me, I have come to bring some information," said the voice. Relon then shouts "Why don't you come closer to speak to us.". However, the voice said "If I get close, my aura of death will kill you all, maybe not all."
Kal taking the lead says "What information have you brought us, Avatar of Death?". Primordius then says "The self-proclaimed 'King of Death' never had dominion over death, he had contact with the power of Ank'latar, the god of Avarice and avarice has no dominion over death, where only my master Necros has all power over it". Alister however questions "But I saw him raise the dead many times, I saw him use the power and presence of the dead to strengthen himself."
Primordius then continues "In the world of the gods, each exalted god or fallen god dominates one aspect of the universe and no god can enter the dominions of another, an avatar receives one aspect of the god they serve and only they dominate that aspect of the god, there cannot be two gods or two avatars that dominate death!". Suzannah then says "You are wanting to tell us that Morfrey's powers did not come from the god of Avarice, but from somewhere else?".
Primordius then disappeared, saying "The world is undergoing changes, powers that even we avatars do not yet know..." and looking at Kal, Primordius finished "But seeing you, I can see that the world will continue to change, because if you can exist, anything is possible!!" concluded Primordius vanishing into a black shadow. With the sudden disappearance of Primordius in a black shadow, the group was left with more questions than answers, but with the certainty that they were on the brink of a new chapter in the history of their world. The mention of Kal as a possible catalyst for unknown changes suggested that future challenges would require unity, courage and, above all, an unwavering willingness to face the unknown.
After the enigmatic appearance and revelations of the Avatar of Death, Primordius, the group gathered again, now with more uncertainties than before. Suzannah, pondering the implications of these revelations, highlighted to Kal the inevitability of extraordinary events while he was present, implying that his very existence was intrinsically linked to monumental changes in the world.
Kal, feeling the weight of responsibility, acknowledged that anomalies had begun to manifest since his arrival, suggested by Tiberius. Relon, with the resolve of a natural leader, stated that united, they would be able to overcome any adversity that arose in their path.
Alister, bringing a more cautious and protective perspective, reminded Suzannah of their companions' youth, urging a pause so they could rest before shouldering the burdens of the world. Recognizing the wisdom in these words, Suzannah agreed, asking everyone to seek rest, preparing for the arduous challenges yet to come. The scene closed with a mixture of determination, caution and the inevitable acceptance that the road ahead would be full of trials, but also opportunities for growth and unity.
The battle against Morfrey and his disciples had ended, but many things were still to come, there were many ancient mysteries yet to be revealed and Kal simply focused on taking care of small things first before facing his enemy head on to save the world.
