“What do you mean young man?” Vanraj asked with utter disbelief;
“Your information and force to help the elves is limited, I need to enter the city.” Arav spoke as he sat down on the podium;
“But,..I can’t really se…” Vanraj spoke while lowering his gaze;
“You don’t need to worry about the town, Marichi will be there.” Arav glanced towards the hill,
“Marichi?..Who is that?” Vanraj followed Arav’s gaze towards the hill, he slightly raised his head while his brows contracted, trying to understand something black coming towards them at a rapid rate. His brows suddenly expanded, he quickly got up;
“WARRIORS!! BE ALARMED! ” He anxiously exclaimed while jumping down the podium, the meditating students got up and began running towards their house. While dozens of elves came forward with determined eyes.
[THUD..THUD..THUD]
Three warriors wearing green clothes jumped from the tree, in the very front while holding their bows pointed at the wolf.
[GRRR]
The wolf let out a terrifying growl, with its speed increasing ten fold.
“AIM!!” The old man screamed, all of the elves present gathered energy and prepared to attack,
[SWOOOSH]
The wolf suddenly increased its speed once again, their eyes widened as they witnessed it appearing as a blur. A strong gust of wind disrupted their formation, and they all got forced to cover their faces. Then it went silent, not a single sound could be heard except the wind entering their ears at a rapid rate. They all slowly opened their eyes, their faces went pale, with their bodies frozen.
The wolf stood on three limbs, while the last one was raised above the ground just inches away from Vanraj’s face, with one of its nails extremely close to his left eyes, not leaving enough space for him to blink.
“It's enough Marichi..” Arav said with a smirk, while jumping down the podium. The elves looked at him while confused, but the very next moment, their confusion turned into surprise. The wolf began shrinking, and turned into a familiar pup. Vanraj’s lips began twitching, confused as to whether to smile or be scared.
“Come here..” Arav said while sitting down,
[WOOF]
The pup barked and ran towards him and jumped in his lap, causing Arav to fall on his back with the pup licking his face.
The elves stayed stunned, not even remembering to disperse the energy they had summoned. The three warriors stared at each other, as their eyes witnessed a powerful beast acting like a small puppy.
“Ha.hahaha..y..young man…so that’s marichi..” Vanraj moved forward while chuckling awkwardly,
[WOOSH]
All of the elves released their energy in unison.
“Yes, old man, this is marichi..” Arav replied while placing the pup beside him and standing up;
“Now, answer me all of you, who would you like to defend your town?..Marichi or your three very strong warriors?” Arav spoke while wiping off dirt from his clothes, while his gaze stayed on a single warrior among the three. The warrior's eyes flinched, clearly angered by his question.
[HUM!]
In an instant, intense green light emerged from the tree on the hill. All of the elves present turned towards light while bowing their heads with their eyes glowing green.
“Let him take the warriors..” A voice resounded from the hill, and could be heard clearly by every single elf present. Arav raised one of his brows while looking at the light, as he could not hear anything.
“But respected elder, they ar…”
“These warriors are safer with him, compared to this town.” The voice completely disregarded Vanraj’s argument.
“[SIGH], As the elder’s will.”
[HUM!]
The light disappeared, Vanraj turned towards Arav and found him petting Marichi.
“Ahem! We have decided to send you three with him. This young man is planning to rescue the elves by infiltrating the human city.” Vanraj said while raising his left hand pointing at Arav.

“WE’LL GO!!!” The warrior exclaimed with excitement, while raising his bow toward the sky. All of the elves looked at him with disappointment, including the other two. He noticed their gazes and slowly lowered his bow, silently.
“Marichi, don’t let even a single elf get harmed. Protect the town in my absence.” Arav said while rubbing Marichi’s head. He then turned towards the warriors standing,
“You three, change your clothes to normal human’s. I don’t want to enter that place announcing my goal” Arav said while pointing at the warriors.
“WHO DO YO..” The warriors spoke in an annoyed tone;
“That’s a good point.” The girl warrior right next to him interrupted,
{Few minutes later}
Arav along with Drishti, Yaksh and a girl stood in front of the gathered elves. A woman in front stood while smiling, with her hands holding a box covered in saffron cloth. She moved towards Arav,
“Here,..It has food enough for all four of you, don’t eat unknown fruits in the forest. And try sleeping under the shade of a tree at night, don’t try to hunt with an empty stomach.” She said while handing the box to Arav, who felt the warm bottom of the box, hinting that the food was recently cooked. Then, suddenly Arav’s eyes widened, as he felt a warm touch on his head. He raised his eyes, and found the woman patting him.
“Th..thank you Vanrani..” Arav said in a low voice. The woman backed off, with the old man walking forward. He raised his hand towards Arav, who lowered his head,
“Haha, I was not going to pat you.” He chuckled, with his hands gathering green energy,
[WOOSH]
The energy moved towards Arav’s head, making his silver hair float. Within moments, his hair turned black.
“I wasn’t exactly expecting a pat,” Arav said with a smile while turning towards the forest.
“Stay safe big brother!!.” Arav stopped and turned, he found a little girl waving her hand, while smiling with two of her teeth missing.
“Drishti, you are a responsible girl, take care of your brother and prevent his punches..” The old man said with a smile while his eyes proudly gazed at Drishti.
“H..hey! Is anyone going to say goodbye to me?” The girl beside Yaksh exclaimed,
“HAHAHA!, you too be safe Yashi..” A man standing behind Vanraj said while laughing loudly.
“You bet I will be, father.” The girl replied while happily turning towards the forest.
The three of them journeyed and entered the middle of the forest.
“This way,” Yaksh said while turning left,
“No,..this way.” Arav continued going in a straight path.
“WHAT? ARE YOU CRAZY? THERE IS NO PATH TO ENTER THAT PLACE FROM THERE,” Yaksh exclaimed. Arav stopped and turned towards him;
“Four strange individuals appeared out of nowhere from the path the humans used to capture elves. Seems quite normal right?” Arav said mockingly while nodding,
“Tch…L..let’s not go this way..” Yaksh moved forward past Arav and continued on the straight path. Then he suddenly stopped;
“W..wait….this is the main castle…” He said while hastily stepping backwards;
“Haah…keep following me..” Arav signed and continued moving, soon they arrived near rotting bodies of wolves.
“Ugh…What happened here?..” Yashi said while covering her nose, followed by the other two warriors.
“Let’s say,..the wolves had an unfortunate encounter..” Arav continued walking past the corpses.
{Six hours later}
The four of them sat under a tree, while Arav gazed at the half moon.
“Tch, will someone explain why we are going in circles around the forest?” Yaksh said while removing the cloth from the box.
“I am trying to access memories, as well as find suitable locations.” Arav replied without looking at him;
“What memories?”
Arav looked towards Yaksha and smirked. Yaksh got goosebumps all around his body after seeing Arav smile.
“What the hell?”
“Yashi, was it?...You are the best archer among the three of you. You will take the elves through the path we just moved on and keep changing location every five hours.”
“Huh?...What?..When?” Yashi asked while confused by Arav’s words.
“Drishti,..”
“HUP!” Drishti got startled by him suddenly calling her name, her face turned red as the other two looked at her;
“You will move along the path, and arrive at each spot within a five hour gap, and take half of the elves with Yashi to the village without stopping. Repeat this process till every elf is secure.”
“Whah abouh meh?” Yaksh spoke with his mouth stuffed with food,
“You and I will stop the chasers.” Arav got up after speaking and moved under a different tree and sat down.
“[GULP], Hey,..guys,..don’t you feel something weird about this guy?” Yaksh whispered while leaning towards Yashi, with his eyes locked at Arav meditating.
“Yeah…you’re write,..without his silver hair, he’s weird” Yashi whispered back,
“Tch,..not the hair you Idiot, I meant everything..” Yaksh said in an annoyed tone;
“How does he know about us elves?..Or that hot doctor he brought to treat us?”
[SLAP]
“OW.., what was that for?” Yaksh rubbed his throbbing cheek, after getting a resounding slap from Drishti.
“My grandfather called her a goddess, show respect.” Drishti angrily said while shaking her hand she slapped him with.
“I know,...my father told me the story of the dragon lord,..I think he’s his reincarnation, and now is trying to help his citizens..” Yashi spoke while stretching her arm towards the food box,
“Huh?..Why did you take that?” Yaksh quickly grabbed her wrist, as she took out a large portion of food.
“YOU WILL DEVOUR IT ALL, LEAVE IT!!”

{Next morning}
The four of them stood in front of a pile of ashes covering a large area. With the white castle slightly visible behind the leaves.
“Ugh!” Arav quickly sat down while holding his head, a ringing sound overwhelmed his brain, accompanied by intense pain.
“Are you alright?” Drishti quickly moved towards him and held Arav’s hand. Yaksh gazed at both of them with an annoyed look, then quickly turned his head away.
“Haah…this way..” Arav pointed towards his left,
“There?,..It has barely any space for movement..” Yaksh said while walking forward and moving a bush using his bow, he looked past the trees and could only find tall mountains surrounding the area.
“Hooh…Follow me..” Arav got up and went past the trees, the four of them arrived in front of the mountain’s face.
“What now?” Yaksh impatiently asked while standing in front of Arav.
He ignored Yaksh and stepped towards stones lying on their left.
“HUP!..HMPH!..”
“.....”
“......”
“.........”
The three of them stared at Arav, who struggled to move a small stone.
“Tch,..move aside..” Yaksh said while folding his sleeves, he placed his hand on the stone and easily tossed it aside.
“What no…”
[WOOOOO]
Yaksh tried to speak, but stopped after his feet felt air flowing out from a hole that got uncovered. Without saying anything, he quickly began moving the other stones lying on the ground, and soon revealed a decent sized hole, enough for them to crawl into. Yaksh turned and stared at Arav;
“Just,...who are you?” He asked in a serious tone;
“You want to know?...fine, I will tell you,...but, after we rescue the elves.” Arav said with a smirk and began crawling inside the hold, followed by Yaksh.
“Pttfu..HEY!...CAREFUL!” Yaksh’s shout echoed inside the hole, as he spat out dirt from his mouth, thrown at him by Arav’s feet trying to crawl forward.
