“I..I’m not done..” Vijay rustled through his pockets and brought out a strange looking dagger with golden hilt. Upon noticing, Arav’s eyes flinched as he sensed a familiarity from the dagger.

Drops of blood began falling on the dry ground, as the dagger had impaled Vijay’s chest, cutting through his armor and clothes.
[WOOSH]
Arav began floating above the large crater his aura had created, while his eyes stayed on Vijay. The dagger began radiating a dark aura, making the surrounding cold and the air heavier, while the sky got covered in dark clouds.
“AHH!!!” Vijay screamed, while his body began changing rapidly. His eyes turned completely dark, with veins bulging purple while his muscles began growing dramatically. His royal clothes soon failed to contain his monstrous physique, revealing huge muscles covered in bulging veins tearing through his clothes. His stature had already grown past any human or demihuman, with eyes showing no hint of humanity. Pure strength raged through his body, taking every sense of emotion away in turn.
“I….WILL…KILL YOU!!!!”
Vijay’s loud voice created tremors in the air, while Arav showed no response whatsoever.
“HAA!!!” Vijay jumped towards Arav, while frantically throwing his limbs in random directions.
[SMACK…SMACK…SMACK]
Arav dodged his attacks, landing a few punches on him. But Vijay did not even flinch;
[CRASH]
He grabbed Arav’s head and threw it towards the mountains with immense strength, Arav crashed on the tip of the mountains, while creating a crater in the process.
[THUMM!]
As Arav stood back up, he heard a heavy object crashing at his left.
“HRAAHH!!”
Vijay jumped again, he slashed his arms at Arav.
[SWO….SWOOO]
Arav ducked, moving left to dodge the right hand while towards right to dodge the left.
[SMACK..] [CRASH]
He punched Vijay’s huge head, making him fly into a different mountain peak.
“HRAA!!!!”
Vijay landed on his feet, and screamed in anger. The dark aura inside him raged even further, creating more muscle mass in the process.
[SWOO….BOOM]
Arav flew towards him, appearing as a red stream of light in the darkness. Arav punched Vijay on his chest and a powerful explosion happened on the peak of the mountain, blowing away a huge chunk into dust with Vijay crashing deep inside the mountain.
[HUM!]
Arav brought both of his hands forward, and the red aura around him began flowing between his palms, while forming a sphere of condensed red energy.
[BHUM!!!] [BOOM!!!]
A red beam of energy rushed towards Vijay, who was still in a deep crater inside the mountain. This beam was much wider than the combined attack of Vijay and naga, making the entire mountain light up with a red glow. The energy collided with him with a huge explosion assuring this fact.
[FSSS!!]
The snow in the proximity evaporated instantly, while the stone turned into red hot magma and began streaming down the mountain.
Arav gazed down, while his palms released steam as he moved them back. The silence hinted towards Vijay’s death, but the truth remained the contrary.
[BHMM!!!] [BOOM!!!!]
“HRAAAHH!!!!”
With a loud battle cry, more than half of the mountain got blown apart with a monstrous dark aura raging from below.
“HAA!!...HAA..HRAAHHH!!!!!”
The dark aura intensified even further, as if following Vijay’s screams;
[SWOOO]
Arav flew towards the source of the aura,
[THUMB!!!]
Something shot up from inside the crater, catching him mid air and flying towards the sky. Vijay’s body size had grown even further, with a strange black lightning constantly crackling through him. Arav was held by his head, with the ground rapidly getting further away.
[HUM!]
Arav’s red aura intensified, and he got out of Vijay’s grasp.
[SHING!!]
Arav sticked out two of his fingers forward,
[SWISH]
He slashed his hand, with a long energy blade rushing towards Vijay.
“HRAH!!!”
To Arav’s utter surprise, Vijay caught the attack midway and crushed it in his palm. He flung himself towards Arav and landed a strike on his head;
[BOOM!!]
Arav crashed on the ground with a huge explosion, with a crater dozens of meters in radius.
[SMACK…SMACK…SMACK]
Suddenly, Vijay appeared in front of him and grabbed his head. Constant barrage of Vijay’s powerful punches targeted Arav’s chest.

Vijay raised his hand holding Arav and threw him at the mountain with a great force, before Arav could crash in the mountain, Vijay appeared in front of him and kicked him in the gut, increasing his speed towards the mountain by tenfold.

As Arav crashed in the mountain, Vijay landed above him. He began striking Arav with both of his hands.
His constant punches made the crater even larger, while his hands were drenched in Arav’s blood.
“URK!!....” Arav coughed out blood, while his eyes began getting blurry while Vijay’s attacks did not appear to stop.
‘This…has to go even further….this can’t be the end…my dragon ener…’
Vijay grabbed Arav by his neck and lifted him above the ground. His right hand began gathering a dark sphere of energy while his grip on Arav’s neck tightened.
[BHRR!!!]
Suddenly, the sound of blazing flames came out of nowhere. Vijay couldn’t see it, but on Arrav’s back, the dragon’s image carved into his skin began burning with red flames.
[WOOSH]
The flames from his back covered Arav’s entire body,
[BOOM!]
Vijay punched Arav’s chest with the dark energy sphere, throwing him crashing through four large mountains in front of him.
“HRGH!!”
Vijay growled like a beast, while seeing Arav colliding with the peak.
Covered in blood, with every single organ crushed, Arav still slowly stood up. The red flames surrounding him became faint. Arav tried to gather strength, but it felt as if his strength was blocked by some kind of barrier that constantly got smaller, crushing his strength even further in the process.
‘Will…I…truly fail here?...Was my return just for nothing?...’ Arav clenched his fists, as the anger against Vijay got more and more intense, every iota of pain that the boy felt by hand, every torture he had go through…It all got converted to rage and fueled the flames around Arav;
“NOOOOO!!!!.....RAAARGH!!!!!”
[THRRR!!!....]
Arav’s anger exploded, with the red flames rising dozens of meters high above the mountain peak.

The ground began trembling, with the snow around the mountain evaporating rapidly.
“HRAAGH!!!!”

With another battle cry, Arav’s red blazing aura returned. Far more terrifying than ever, the mountain around him melted in moments, forming a large river of red magma. Countless lines of red energy appeared to be racing out of Arav, circling around him at a tremendous rate.

Vijay tried to move forward, but a huge explosion blew the three remaining mountains to dust. Vijay covered his face with his hand, while trying to find Arav in front of him.
Suddenly, his eyes widened as he saw a red stream of light rapidly heading towards him;

“AHH!!!”
Vijay screamed, an agonizing pain numbed his brain. His eyes were met with an angry expression of Arav, with nothing but blood thirst in his red eyes.
[SPLURT!!]
Vijay coughed up blood, while realizing that Arav’s hand was impaled in his chest. Arav moved his hand, grabbing Vijay’s beating heart;
[SPLURT!!....GLURTH!!]
Vijay’s tongue stuck out of his mouth, while his eyes popped out. Arav had crushed his heart in his palm.
[THUD!]
Vijay’s lifeless body fell on the ground. Arav landed right beside him, he saw a dark energy radiating out of Vijay’s body.
[SCHUUT!!!]
The energy shot up towards the sky, parting the clouds in the process. Arav turned towards the castle in the distance and found another dark beam falling down from the sky.
[TCHIIK!!]
Arav’s raging red aura dispersed, while his red eyes turned to normal.

Usha sat on the throne with a serious expression, then suddenly, the ceiling of that room got blown away with a dark beam of energy falling down on her.
“HOOH!!!...Son…your sacrifice won’t be wasted!...” A wicked smile appeared on her face, while the dark beam of energy made her float above the throne, her hair waved upwards, while her forehead veins bulged purple and crawled like worms.
“HEHEHEHE!!!” She laughed maniacally, while clenching and raising her fist in her front, hinting towards her expectancy about this occurrence.

Arav gazed at Vijay’s body, which had already shrunk down to his original state.

Arav heard footsteps in his left,

A punch struck him in the jaw, making him lose his balance and slightly wobble towards the right;
“ARE YOU CRAZY?!! WHY DID YOU GO IN THE FIGHT ALONE?!”
Arav was greeted by an enraged Yaksh shouting at him with teary eyes.
“The situation isn’t simple..” Arav spoke while standing still and briefly scratching his left cheek;
“Huh?..What do you mean?” Yaksh confusingly asked while turning towards the lifeless corpse of Vijay,
Arav moved forward and picked a small pebble lying beside him, while Yaksh curiously stared at him;
[HUM!]
The rock suddenly began shining with yellow light, then Arav threw it away towards the single remaining tree in the entire forest.
[BOOM!]
Yaksh was startled, as the moment the rock collided with the trunk, a huge explosion happened, completely obliterating the tree in the process.
“What was that?!” Yaksh asked with emotions being mixed with surprise and amazement;
“He transferred his energy inside his sword and used it like that..”
“Can all humans do that?”
“No,...at least not to his extent..”
“Who taught you that?”
“I just saw him doing it..”

“It’s really surprising every time I see you fight….or, well… after the fight..” Yaksh said in a low voice while sighing in relief;
“My strength keeps increasing every time I fight..”

“Why didn’t you use that ability…uh…the one you used to freeze them in the city…what was it called?’’ Yaksh began wondering while scratching his head;
“Dragon tongue, I never told you its name. And I can’t use it on everyone, It requires a set of rules to be followed..”
“Rules?...What rules?”
“I can’t use it on someone with stronger energy than me, It won’t work on beings not from this dimension. It also consumes a great amount of energy when used. If I keep using it constantly, I won’t have enough energy remaining, rendering my other techniques unusable for a short while.” Arav explained;
“O..Ohh!...And what about that red aura?”
“....That aura is my dragon energy from my past life, It appears when I am in a state where both mantra and my demihuman energy reach a harmony.”

“...Yes, and that’s the biggest worry..” Arav spoke in a low voice while clenching his fist holding the dagger piece;
“This here is imbued with the dragon seal,...while the technique sealed inside is demonic.”
“....Dragon seal?..What is that?” Yaksh confusingly asked, somewhat taken aback with Arav’s serious tone;
“It’s a technique with absolute soul bond…Only known by the elites in the Dragon clan..”
Yaksh’s heart suddenly got heavier, as he finally slowly realized the weight of Arav’s words.
“Dragons and Demons working together…” Yaksh whispered while his eyes got clouded with worry;
“This entire ordeal about elf slavery….It’s orchestrated…for a certain goal, by the one…or the group who gave this to the humans.” Arav continued explaining, with Yaksh’s eyes getting darker in sync with his words.
Arav turned towards the large castle in the distance;
“It seems the prince must return.”
