Having culminated slicing off the head of the horned fox boss, Aura caught a glimpse of what she was looking for inside its chopped body.
With a graceful swing of her sword and her physical reinforcement ability still active, she was able to easily extract the monster's core without letting a single drop of blood spill on her.
She surmised that this must be one of the requirements to release the restraints, so she rushed to slaughter monsters and lure their boss, feeling fortunate that she was able to keep and get some of her previous abilities.
She herself was confused with the flow of events, as she never expected to have such a good opportunity.
At first she thought she was in some kind of illusion of some enemy, trance or just a dream, but after a long time, she finally accepted it.
She returned.
Did she go back to the past, or did time itself rewind and she didn't quite rewind?
Be that as it may, she doesn't care in the least about the workings behind it, as there is no point in just speculating.
She just knows that she now has the opportunity to change a lot of things.
It took some time, but because she returned until long before the tutorial, she had the necessary conditions to recondition her body and relearn some of her previous swordplay and martial arts.
She reached a point where the only thing limiting her from awakening her martial aura was the world she was in.
So she still had time to think a lot about what to do when transmigrating, on the way she was able to enjoy a lot of the delights and entertainment of her original world, mentally writing down the recipes of many dishes to try to replicate them in Ausperia.
Beyond enjoying that, Aura really had nothing else to hold on to in that place, since her parents had long since passed on, leaving her in the care of her grandmother, who also passed on. Thus she inherited the family home and a small fortune, which allowed her to live carefree, but at the same time, in great loneliness.
In part she regrets not having been able to return much earlier, to at least be reunited with her parents or her granny, although she herself knew that such a thing was already a greedy wish, feeling melancholy but grateful to have a new opportunity.
She didn't even know what to be thankful for, since she had long known about gods and their forms, as well as various strange and powerful beings, and was aware that, at least the ones she knew about, could not make something as ridiculous as this possible.
She has respect for the divinities she served before, but still knowing that she was a bit freer to express herself where she was, she had a bit of fun venting her frustrations by blaspheming various powerful entities and divinities of Ausperia without risk of repercussions.
Despite her consistently serene appearance, she herself has kept a lot in over the years, so her time on her home planet was liberating.
When it was finally time for transmigration, she had complicated feelings, but quickly replaced those thoughts with her great determination.
As this time she was almost an auror, she changed her manner of death, and killed and stopped the plans of the terrorists responsible for the train station attack in which she had originally died. Dying by letting herself be run down alongside the real mastermind behind the attack in an epic brawl.
She could have just killed him and decided to die some other way, since her soul must meet the recruitment requirements, but she thought it was cool and fun so she just did it that way.
Nah, actually, not quite.
She made sure to die in the most heroic and notorious way possible for the people she saved, because influential actions are recorded in the souls of the beings.
For normal worlds, that " just " would make you have a better chance for better reincarnation conditions, but not only that in Ausperia.
In Ausperia, prestige and influential actions are the best way to raise one's level of existence.
And since her soul would be transmigrated and not reincarnated, that precedent would be very helpful in accelerating her growth rate and accessing greater benefits.
As it was an action in her own world, she thought that there would not be much complication in the outcome of future events.
Unfortunately, there seemed to be changes, either because of her...or something else....
Already just from when she was transported to the typical white space and even when entering the tutorial.
Things were different, from the beginning, from the people around her to the application of additional conditions in the after-space she was transported to.
She had heard of these types of tutorial modifications but had not expected their sudden appearance.
She questioned that it may be that her outstanding power may have been one of the triggering causes for this change.
Causing her some aggravation as all her initial plans went downhill, and she would have to actively search for the targets she is looking for, that is if they are still in the same place.
Looking at his status, she was glad that he retained some of his abilities, though these are marked with a grayish tone as if they were inactive. At least she didn't have to start everything from scratch.
Interestingly the group she was summoned into still belonged to the same neutral faction divinity that originally summoned her, and the choice of skills she got was the same as before.
Questioning how little advantage they received, since she was aware that the divine miasma should also take achievements into account when granting advantages and strengthening its users, unless the amount received was so minuscule as to only give base advantages.
Living the moment again, she also realized that almost nothing was really explained to the new transmigrants, it varies in each batch but always those who enter Ausperia usually suffer a strong reality shock.
Well, bringing people from another world into Ausperia is like a gamble and investment on the part of the divinities, adding to the mortality rate makes it not a smart decision to give them many benefits until they have achieved some accomplishments and power of their own.
Aura couldn't help but feel some pity for the little consideration given to those who were supposedly "volunteering" to help.
Having the same ability options wasn't a bad thing, in fact it helped her reactivate one of her dormant abilities as it "absorbed" the previous degraded version of itself that she had gained from the divine miasma particles she had obtained.
[Limit break]
Although, even without her abilities, she already had a lot of advantage.

Since she barely entered the tutorial area, it didn't take her more than a minute to reawaken her martial aura, due to the training she had undergone.
Although she could not use formal magic because she would have to activate her magic circuits and relearn the spells, once she got rid of her restrictions she could still use her [Blessing of the Wind] skill.
Thinking that in this round, she would be able to turn that ability into a real blessing if she played her cards right in certain events.
So, with no more time to waste, she got down to work.
First she went about attracting and killing large concentrations of horned foxes as they seemed to be one of the most numerous monsters in the area, and being virtual entities from the tutorial, they kept attacking her despite the obvious difference in power, at most trying to apply group strategies against her, which turned out to be completely ineffective.
Still, it took longer than expected as the tutorial setup does not allow boss monsters so early in the vicinity of the spawn zones, but they appear between the second and third day.
Someone would have to go deep inside to encounter one or a special monster.
The tutorial is a virtual space located in a very mysterious region of Ausperia, which is unknown to mortals. Being virtual, by fulfilling certain requirements, several mechanics could be activated.
In fact, it is a special zone even for the divinities themselves, who cannot intervene or observe this space, but supposedly there was a kind of "neutral moderators", who originally belong to this mysterious zone, but not much is known about them.
Aside from the superficial hidden mechanics, Aura wondered if she could access some deeper content, which she had heard about before from a certain crazy mage who knew a lot about the secret contents of the world.
Unsurprisingly, that mage had not lived long in her original timeline, but she wanted to change that too. For, although that mage was somewhat insane, her talents were undeniable.
Aura knew that each of her own plans carried great risk, but she was confident in her own capability. She does not intend to back down and will seize every opportunity to be able to change the fate of the world, to become stronger and stronger and make that possible.
There are certain regions of the tutorial that feature dungeon-like structures and present mysterious inscriptions. It is not a secret, but because they are very dangerous for new transmigrants and seem to have some kind of cognitive barrier that makes you forget what you look like when you leave the tutorial area, it has not been possible to find out more about them.
Since once you get past the tutorial, there is no way to get back there.
But now she is back.
With the core of the horned fox boss in front of her, she proceeded to touch it superficially so as not to stain herself, thus managing to absorb it and lift the magical restrictions applied to her by the tutorial.
Sitting down to review her status on the monster's corpse.
As well as trying to remember the exact layout of the tutorial area, since she had mistakenly assumed that she would have been transported to the same location.
Before noticing that things would be different.
That's when she noticed the faint sound of leaves rustling.
Being at level 0, she couldn't take advantage of all the benefits of being an auror, but she still would have noticed sooner whether by instinct, martial aura or skill, if the presence that headed this way had hostile intentions.
Turning her head, she encountered a guy who looked a little older than her, maybe seventeen?
He was holding his spear tightly as he had a wary and fearful look on his face, which changed to surprise and embarrassment as soon as they exchanged glances.
She searched her memory, to see if his appearance matched that of someone known or important, but found no results.
Seeing from the direction the guy came from, she felt like shaking her head, for that direction delved deeper into the various territories of the boss monsters.
Noticing this, she made use of her abilities to detect nearby presences.
"There, over there and that way, you will be able to find people if you follow any of those directions in a straight line. You won't find anyone from the direction you came from."
Aura didn't want to form groups or take charge of others, at least not until certain conditions or objectives were met. So she could only help Kael by giving him some directions.
Kael, understanding the message, nodded and thanked her, walking being still captivated by Aura, which made him trip over his own feet.
Almost making the blonde girl laugh.
He shook off the dirt he had smudged himself with and picked up his spear quickly, too embarrassed to speak, almost running.
"Hey."
At the sound of Aura's voice, Kael stopped , his face looking like a tomato.
Aura found it a bit funny and it generated some feelings of compassion for him.
Throwing something to Kael, who nervously caught the object, but out of nervousness almost dropped it.
"You can take that and also the sword over there if you wish, I don't need it"
Kael visualized the object in his hands, she had given him the healing potion that the tutorial gave. She even offered him the sword she had discarded.
While that is a gain for him, he couldn't help but feel ashamed, since this was a sign that the person in front of him felt pity-compassion for him, making it inevitable that he would feel another form of shame more humiliating and saddening , finally clearing his mental state in the process.
He sighed internally, but didn't let his silly expression show again.
"Tha.... Thank you very much, but what would you do without your sword?"
Aura smiled and stretched out her hands, which released waves of wind until they formed a sort of visible blade formed by those waves.
"I have my own means."
Kael looked surprised, there was certainly an abyss of difference between them.
Being aware of this, Kael moved towards the sword on the ground and after some deliberation, he stored his own spear in his inventory, generating some surprise in the mind of Aura who recognized that he had an inventory type ability.
"Thank you very much."
Kael bowed 90 degrees in thanks, as he recognized that the person in front of him had given him too much.
Despite benefiting, he couldn't help but get discouraged and somewhat sad, so not wanting the girl in front of him to notice this, he immediately headed towards one of the locations pointed out by Aura, without even introducing himself.
«Oh, shit, that's right»
Kael was about to move further away, but stopped in his tracks as he thought of something, backing away mechanically, crestfallen, he directed the word again to the blonde girl.
"ah, sorry, I know you've given me a lot already and seriously I'm really grateful already, but I'd still like to ask if....uhm...could I have one of those?" the guy pointed to one of the mutilated horned fox corpses.
To which Aura nodded, she wasn't interested in the corpses of those monsters. To which he proceeded to store the dismembered body of the creature in his subspace, before finally getting back up.
"What is your name?"
"Me?...ah.....my name is Kael."
"Aura, nice to meet you."
"Ah, right, sorry for not introducing myself earlier....THANK YOU SO MUCH! I DEFINITELY WON'T FORGET THIS FAVOR IN THE FUTURE! " Kael again bowed with as much respect as was in his ability to show, and , noticing that Aura simply nodded, again left, this time definitely.
«It's kind of cuddly.
«Looking better at his features, I think he's my (current) age or younger, no, younger would be impossible, the gods only summon people 16 or older, regardless of the world. Younger than that may encounter problems in activating and using their [origin] as they are not developed enough.
Aura returned to her thoughts
Unaware of the unfolding of changes on a much larger scale than she had imagined.
«If he manages to survive by the time I find him again, perhaps he will be useful for storing valuable items»
While she was confident of gaining benefits from the tutorial and perhaps entering some special areas, she herself wouldn't be able to carry too many items on herself, so someone with a storage skill would be useful for carrying non-consumables or things she wished to reserve for targets of interest.
«Would have to check that he's trustworthy»
She trusts her own instincts, but still thinks she would have to observe him a bit more in the future.
«All this assuming he doesn't die»
She likes his personality a bit, but Aura doesn't think someone like him would adapt easily to the world of Ausperia.
Not without suffering for a while....
While she did help him a bit, she is not willing to care for and save everyone she meets, straying from her goals.
Aura not only considers it an impossible and painful path to take, but also the most foolish and ineffective......
That's why this time she plans to keep moving forward without looking back all the time.
While that way of thinking goes against her own nature.
She needs to do that if she wants to protect the ones she cares about, the people who made her feel like she had a new family in this world, as well as millions of lives.
She learned the hard way that this is the best way to proceed if she wants to achieve a greater good.
A better future.
