Locci sat in his apartment, eagerly waiting for his PC to finish downloading the Nixworld game. He watched Pokesol anime with a content smile when suddenly, the doorbell rang.
Locci checked to see who was visiting him and discovered it was Patrick and Kaiser. He hesitated, wanting to shoo them away, but they entered his apartment before he could react.
"Hey, this is my apartment," Locci said, a touch of surprise in his voice.
"Oh, come on, don't be like that. We're not strangers anyway," Patrick said with a reassuring smile.
"Okay, but why did you bring this guy here?" Locci asked, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Locci couldn't believe Patrick was being friendly with Kaiser, especially after Kaiser had shot him in the leg. He harbored a strong dislike for Kaiser and didn't want him setting foot in his house.
"Hey, we heard you're downloading Nixworld, so we're here to give you some tutorials on how to play," Patrick said.
"I'll figure it out on my own. Now get out," Locci demanded firmly.
"Don't be like that. You didn't know, but Kaiser is one of the top 10 players in Nixworld. If he gives you guidance, we'll become experts in no time," Patrick asserted convincingly.
"I don't care. Get out," Locci said firmly. However, as soon as he spoke, lightning flashed outside and rain poured from the sky.
Patrick raised his eyebrows and remarked, "Really? You want to chase us out in this weather?"
Locci sighed and said, "Don't touch anything. Don't go into any other rooms. And most importantly, leave after the rain stops."
"You're being too harsh, Officer. We haven't done anything to offend you," Kaiser said calmly.
"You haven't done anything?" Locci said incredulously. "You really said that after what you've done?"
"Okay, okay, enough. We're at least allowed to use the sofa, right? Let's just sit down until the rain stops," Patrick suggested.
Patrick and Kaiser settled comfortably in the living room, making themselves at home while Locci retreated to his room, continuing to watch anime on his phone. At one point, he left his room and walked past the living room toward the bathroom. As he passed by, he couldn't help but notice Patrick and Kaiser engrossed in playing Nixworld on their laptops.
Curiosity piqued, Locci stole glances from afar and marveled at the fortress the two had built with the assistance of Nixes. They were mounted atop flying creatures, observing their creation from the sky. Locci had to admit, their in-game characters looked impressive. A growing excitement welled up within him, igniting a strong desire to play the game himself. He couldn't wait for the download to finish.
As the rain came to a stop, Locci bid Patrick and Kaiser a casual farewell, saying, "Please don't come back." Once they had left, he headed back to his room and found that the game had finished downloading. Eagerly, he settled into his gaming chair, feeling well-prepared after watching tutorials and tips.
However, before he could start playing, he heard commotion outside. Curious, he opened his window and was met with a chaotic scene. People ran in all directions without a clear sense of where to go. The sky had turned a fiery red, casting an ominous glow over the cityscape. In the distance, several buildings were engulfed in flames, adding to the sense of urgency and confusion in the air.
Sesperately trying to make sense of the situation, Locci searched for the source of the disturbance when suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the air.
Looking up, his eyes widened in disbelief as he saw a colossal dragon head emerging from the clouds, its mouth gaping wide open. From within, a torrent of meteors rained down towards the earth.
With a deafening crash, one of the meteors slammed into the neighboring city, sending shockwaves through the air. The ground trembled violently as the impact reverberated, causing buildings to sway and windows to shatter. In Locci's city, people screamed in terror as the shockwave swept through, shaking the foundations of their homes and businesses.
As the colossal dragon head ceased spewing meteors from its gaping mouth, a brief moment of relief washed over the people below. Some began to believe they had been spared from further destruction. Yet, the air remained tense with uncertainty, as everyone wondered what would happen next in the wake of such unprecedented chaos.

With urgency gripping him, Locci seized the opportunity to contact his superiors, but his attempts were thwarted by the lack of signal. Panic surged through him as he realized he was cut off from communication. To worsen matters, a woman's scream pierced the air from outside.
Locci rushed to the window and saw a man forcibly dragging a woman into the nearby alleyway.
With adrenaline coursing through him, Locci made a split-second decision. Without hesitation, he leaped from the window of his third-floor apartment. Time seemed to slow as he descended, his heart pounding with uncertainty.
Miraculously, he landed safely on the ground below, his feet absorbing the impact without injury.
With determination fueled by urgency, Locci sprinted into the alley, driven to rescue the woman from danger. However, as he arrived, a sense of dread washed over him — he was too late. The man had already taken her life before Locci could intervene.
Fury surged through Locci as he came upon the tragic sight of the woman's lifeless body. Without a moment's hesitation, he grabbed the man responsible and slammed him against the wall with a force that rendered him unconscious.
As Locci prepared to apprehend the perpetrator, the sounds of cheering suddenly reached his ears from outside the alley.
Locci burst out of the alley and emerged into a scene where a crowd had gathered, cheering fervently as two men engaged in a heated fight.
Locci spotted Patrick and Kaiser among the crowd and approached them. Kaiser greeted Locci warmly and invited him to watch the fight, but Locci ignored him and turned to Patrick with a stern expression.
"Why didn't you stop this?" Locci demanded, his voice edged with frustration.
Patrick shrugged nonchalantly. "This is the end of the world, Locci. Might as well enjoy any entertainment we come across," he replied casually.
Locci frowned, not fully understanding Patrick's indifference. "And what's this about?" he asked, nodding towards the brawl.
Patrick leaned in and whispered, "Kaiser promised those two men that the winner would get his expensive watch."
"And you just let it happen? Aren't you supposed to be a police officer, defending justice?" Locci questioned, his voice tinged with disappointment and disbelief.
Patrick shrugged nonchalantly. "As I said, this is the end of the world. There's no justice here, just satisfying our craving for entertainment before it all ends," he replied.
Locci's heart sank with despair. He clenched his fists, trembling with anger and frustration, ready to lash out at Patrick. But in that moment, he realized the futility of it all. What could a punch accomplish in a world falling apart?
With a heavy heart, Locci stepped back, shaking his head in disbelief. Without another word, he turned away from the chaotic scene, running back to his apartment. Away from the chaos outside, he sought solace within the confines of his own space, desperate to find a semblance of sanity amidst the madness.
Despite the chaos outside and the absence of signal, Locci found out that his PC could still run the Nixworld game. With a sense of relief and determination, he immersed himself in playing, using it as a way to calm his mind amidst the turmoil.
Locci spent minutes playing the game until he acquired his first Nix, a Fluffinix—a sheep-like creature with ball-like fur. However, his joy was short-lived when his Fluffinix was defeated by Wanderclaw, a wolf-like Nix. As he watched Wanderclaw consume Fluffinix, Locci contemplated the naturalness of eating. It struck him that eating was an essential part of life, a pure and innocent act done to sustain life itself.
In contrast, he pondered the complexities of human actions, where lives could be taken for reasons beyond mere survival.
Locci reflected on the looming colossal dragon head, believed to be the harbinger of the world's end. Despite the impending doom, he couldn't help but feel that the dragon's actions were driven by a primal need to sustain itself through feeding. In a moment of resignation, Locci accepted the situation, finding solace in the idea that his life might serve to perpetuate another.
"I've got a job, caught a criminal, and secured this apartment. I even have the luxury to play a game. My life has improved. I have no regrets," Locci affirmed with contentment.
Locci leaned back in his gaming chair, a serene smile on his face, even as everything around him burned.
As the planet erupted in a cataclysmic blaze, fire and ash engulfed the surface. Explosions ripped through the land, sending shockwaves across the globe. In the midst of this fiery chaos, the colossal dragon head loomed ominously in the space. Its mouth gaped wide open, ready to consume everything.
With a tremendous roar, the dragon head descended, swallowing the entire burning, exploding planet in one colossal gulp. The world was consumed, disappearing into the depths of the dragon’s maw, marking the end of all existence.

Locci shook his head and looked around, disoriented. Before him stood Quallure, a giant peacock-like Nix.
"What happened to me?" Locci asked, bewildered.
"I just hypnotized you to awaken your forgotten memory about the end of the world," Quallure replied. "Now, do you remember?"
Locci shook his head again, trying to piece together what happened after the dragon consumed the world. Slowly, fragments of memory resurfaced. He remembered being swept aimlessly inside a cosmic typhoon. Within this swirling vortex, countless scenes flashed by, each more chaotic than the last. The sheer volume of imagery overwhelmed him, making his head throb with pain as he struggled to make sense of it all.
Then, from the center of the typhoon, a small crack appeared, creating a powerful suction. It pulled him in along with two other people. That was the last thing he remembered before he found himself reincarnated as a Pokesol in the Nixworld.
"I remember, there were two other people beside me. Are they also reincarnated as Pokesol?" he asked, looking at Quallure for answers.
Quallure nodded and said, "Correct. The Father calls you three the Fateless Three. The dragon that devoured the planet was a universal threat. The Hope Guild from the Guildverse Alliance saved all the humans on Earth before the dragon could consume them. They transferred people to various worlds, and Nixworld was one of them. However, despite their efforts, an error in the spell caused minor accidents in every world humans were transferred to. In Nixworld, you, the Fateless Three, are the result of those errors."
