The ceremony went as about I expected. Many families from around pallet town gathered to watch to see the new graduate's. Professor gave a good speech about pokemon and their bond between people.

The whole thing was nice honestly kinda nice. I was kinda anxious though he hadn't said if anyone passed and I was getting impatient.

"Can the professor hurry up already"June whisper's next to me.I could see her anxiously tapping her foot on the ground. Even without my abilities it was kinda easy tell she was nervous."June come on you passed stop freaking out"I say trying to come her down. "Easy for you to say ,unlike you I didn't win my battle test"she says nervously. I winced a bit at the memory as instantly after I was called she went up.

And in contrast to me she didn't have the same luck her poor Nidoran got abosolutly wrecked. "Look it was Nidoran vs a Gengar hardly your fault".she just frowned clearly not any less worried then before.

She wasn't the only one though as my entire class minus Gary seemed incredibly nervous about everything. All of us were sat under tent in the field with my class and class C and A sitting in the own section's. With most of the parents/family sitting behind us.

Most were upfront on the podium as professor oak gave his speech.It made alot sense to me why everyone was anxious. This seemed really public would just announced whether you passed or not . It felt almost like a public execution honestly."But I think that's enough of my rambling"oaks say's with a small smile.

"May the people who get called please come up to the podium "he state's.My eye's became razor focused on shoe's suddenly. It feels kinda stupid but I was really nervous right now.

I couldn't help but smile as he said that I had did it.I cringed a little remembering how by he his standard's I probably didn't really earn this. But that didn't matter right now I had won that's all that really matters. Despite his word's alot of people seemingly were in sorrow. I cringed a little June looked like she was at the verge of tears.But she still looked at me with a level of pride in her eyes.

"Now as is tradition the trainer with highest score can pick starters first"oak say's as he points to a table that has standard PokeBall's on it. "Gary you got the highest score you can pick first "oak say's to his grandson.

The 15 year old teen grinned before heading to the table and picking up the ball that had the water symbol on it.

I walked to the table I looked to see me my options Bulbasaur or Charmander. Bulbasaur would be the best for taking the first three gym's I wanted to challenge.However getting a Charizard had always been a dream of mine.Though it would definitely make things harder from now on.But then again I had alot of things till now haven't?.
