Big dream's young idiot

Big dream's young idiot

The night sky was pitch black and dark as ink itself. With the only light source being the moon above. It shimmered down at the people below. All of them cheering and wailing in the large stadium. The air was filled to the brim with tension and excitement.

All eyes were locked onto the two figures below standing at opposite ends of the arena. The lush grassy field they were once facing off in had turned into a wasteland, being completely torn apart by powerful forces.

"Red, you truly are the most powerful trainer I've ever met!" the man on the left stated, "I would have never thought anyone could sweep half of my team like that–with Dragonite no less! My speciality!" Despite the praise he was giving, you could clearly see the nervous smile across his face.

"I thought it would be poetic to defeat the master of dragons with a dragon of my own...though, I didn't expect a double knockout...good for you Lance!" A young man with pitch-black hair and scarlet red eyes smirked amusedly. He wore a black and white suit with a red tie, "But unfortunately for you...I have no time to waste!" He grabbed a red and white ball from his belt and pointed it towards his opponent, a white and blue energy erupting from it as it took shape on the battlefield.

A large dragon-like creature, mainly orange in colour. It had two large wings sticking out its back, the underside of which were turquoise. It let out a mighty roar, releasing a powerful stream of scorching hot flames into the air. The audience in the arena instinctively tried shielding themselves feeling the intense heat. However, no one was in any harm's way red made sure of that.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

"Send out your last pokémon, Lance! You're the only elite four members to faint one of my pokémon! Because of that, I will give you the honour of being able to battle against my Charizard: the single most powerful Charizard to ever walk Kanto!"

Lance's eyes widened. He had seen how easily that behemoth had casually torn threw Lorelei's ice-type team. He couldn't help but feel honoured that his future Champion would battle him with his Charizard. But he didn't bother taking out his last remaining dragonite...he already knew what would happen.

"We don't need to continue this battle, Red!  I already know you'll win...you truly are the strongest trainer I've ever faced...you're the only trainer deserving of the title of Champion," the red-headed dragon trainer proclaimed. With those words stated, cheering and applause boomed from the crowd. Red smirked as the crowd began to roar out his name in pride. Red the Victorious the trainer who never loses.

 "Red always wins!"

 "Red always wins !"

 "Red always wins !"

 "Red always wins !"

 "Red always wins !"

 "LEO WAKE UP !!!"

"Ugh..." was all the young boy could say as he jumped out of bed .

"Leo, get out of bed it's 6:15! You're gonna be late for school!!"

Hearing those words the boy couldn't help but groan out, Heading for the door while mumbling under his breath about why his mom had to be so loud.

This is where our journey truly begins.
