Ferdinand was heading for his car in the parking lot, and just as he was about to open his car door the lights in the parking lot flickered. Ferdinand looked up at the flickering lights with soon returned to normal, looking around Ferdinand began to call out, “hello, is anyone there?” after he heard no response, he came down a bit and released a sigh of relief.
“Argh!” Ferdinand let out a yelp as his heart skipped a beat. He had come face to face with the man who was rumored to be running round the city like some sort of superhero. How was he so sure this was him? He was pretty sure no one else in their right mind would dress like that. Thinking more on the topic Ferdinand began to have a better look at the get up thinking how he could make some improvements here and there.
“I heard you were good with computers”, the vigilante’s gruff voice brought Ferdinand out of thoughts. “well, good is kind of an understatement I did finish with first class…” Ferdinand ended his rant sensing the vigilante was not in the mood, “yeah I am” “good, I need to unlock this. It has an encryption preventing me from accessing it.” with those words the vigilante had handed over the laptop he had snatched from the reaper over.
Ferdinand took the laptop placing it over his car hood and getting straight to work. “wow, I can’t believe this, the encryption on this thing is absolutely insane, top notch probably military grade.” “how long do you need?” “done” Ferdinand interrupted the vigilante turning the laptop over to the vigilante.
“So, like, I was wondering…” he trailed of realizing he was alone once more in the parking lot. “you’re welcome!” Ferdinand called out into the parking lot in an attempt to get rid of the awkwardness.
At the reaper’s former apartment,
The officers were all over everything trying their best to collect evidence and figure who it was the vigilante was fighting. Naa went around the place looking at the incomplete device on the table before her she wasn’t sure as to what it was exactly, but knew that what ever it was, it was bad news considering where she found it.

Jarred had walked back into the apartment at this point and signaled for Naa to come over. “I went round asking the eyewitness but most of them wouldn’t speak” “not surprising considering the part of town we’re in. Hell, I’m pretty sure most of them are involved in something illegal” Naa nodded in understanding.
“true but the few that would speak, said they didn’t know the guy all that well, he never spoke to any of them. One day he just showed up.” Jarred spoke up with his frustration completely evident I his voice. “what about the owner? He must have known who it was he was renting his apartment out to” Naa asked.
“He refuses to speak to us.” Jarred continued, “damn it!” Naa stomped her feet hearing what Jarred had said that. “I take it that you haven’t gotten anything here then.” Naa gave him her now-why-would-you-think-that look before releasing her sigh and speaking up, “fingerprints were obtained as well as a bloodied gauze but we are unable to match with anyone in our systems so for now they are as good as nothing… I have to take this.”
Naa headed out to answer her phone. “hello?” “hello detective.” A gruff voice was heard from the other side of the line further adding to the confusion as to who it was, she was speaking to, “who am I speaking to?” “I’ve been called many things, some called me assassin, some called me vigilante some hero but you can call me Phantom.”
With those words Naa felt a jolt, the man she was speaking to was none other than the man she had been after for over a year, “how the hell did you get my number?” “I’m calling you to tell you something important, someone has hired a contract killer and if I am not wrong you should be at his apartment.” Naa looked but at the apartment which was still filled with police having a lot of her questions now having answers. “I will be sending you information. I need you to go there” the vigilante continued.
“and I need you to turn yourself in, looks like neither one of us are getting what we want.” Naa scoffed disbelieving of the fact that the guy actually dared to ask for her help, “he has a bomb” those words finally caused Naa to be silent. “you have probably seen the incomplete device in the apartment, “with those words, Naa’s mind went back to the device she saw in the apartment. “he has a complete one and it would be going of tonight I need you to go the place I sent you and get everyone to safety”.
Naa finally agreed, “where are you going to be” “I have something to deal with.” With that he ended the call.
At Hank’s bunker,
Hank after going through the reaper’s pc, had managed to see his plans of blowing up an auction that night and managed to go through some of his previous assassinations, from all he had seen he was sure his cousin wasn’t safe at the hospital but he couldn’t be at two places at once, and so using an untraceable phone called Naa and gave her the address of the auction.
In the hospital, Michelle’s nurse had just left her room after providing her with dinner. As she saw the nurse leave she turned on the TV to watch the news which was coincidentally talking about the fight between the phantom and the reaper.
