It was another night in Lakeside city, in the warehouse district.
Six cars were lined up as a couple of men moved to fill the tanks with canisters. In a grey Audi Rs7, one of the drivers let his curiosity get to him as he looked into his side mirror to see what they were loading into the trunk.
His eyes caught a glance of the markings on the canister which caused them to widen. The driver immediately sat straight trying his best to calm down but images of what was on the cannisters kept flashing in his mind.
*vroom* The revving sound of his fellow drivers brought him out of his thoughts and narrowly stopped him from having a full-on panic attack. Not wanting to draw attention to himself he started his car following after the other drivers. The six cars sped out of the warehouse district after a few more minutes an alert popped up on the screen on the driver’s phone, alerting him to split up from the rest and giving him a route to follow.
The driver followed instructions splitting up from the rest and taking the route directed on the phone, the image of the markings on the canisters till flashing through his mind. *screech* A sound revibrated through the quiet night as the driver came to a halt, with a frown he looked to the screen which had changed, now showing warning signs as well as a countdown for him to continue driving.
Grabbing the phone, the driver tossed it out of his car before turning around and speeding off.
In another building Jessica stood behind a man who was seated behind a computer, “what is wrong?” Jessica questioned. “One of the drivers abandoned the mission” The man responded, “hmm, oh well we did account for such things to happen. Why don’t people just do what their told? *sigh* retrieve the canisters” Jessica turned to leave after giving her orders.
The grey Audi sped through the streets of Lakeside, soon making it back on to a main road. The driver began to calm down when an arrow broke through his side window and embedded itself into the seat by his side, he took a glance at the arrow before looking out the window to see a man in bike with a bow at hand dressed in an outfit that was reminiscent of the assassins from assassin’s creed.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Looking to his right, the driver spotted another man on a bike this one with a sword at hand, a quick look at his rearview mirror revealed two more guys behind him. The driver pressed down on the accelerator as he swerved through the cars before him. The assassins didn’t let up as the one with a bow fired another arrow which flew in from behind and embedded itself into his dashboard causing him to curse, “f*ck!”
The Audi wasted no time taking a sharp turn into a narrow pathway causing the pedestrians who were on the pathway to jump out the way to avoid being hit by the car. The assassins were of course close behind, the driver seeing applied more pressure to the accelerator as they approached the exit.
The Audi pulled a nearly impossible drift avoiding collision with a truck, the bike which was right on his tail was not as lucky, a crashing sound was soon heard. “woo!” The driver cheered seeing that but his celebrating was soon brought to a halt.
Looking into his rearview mirror, the driver saw three of the assassins were still on his tail and although he couldn’t see their faces their demeanor told him they were pissed at him. Two of the assassins jumped off their bikes and on the tops of cars as they began to make their way to the Audi, “you’ve got to be kidding me” the driver muttered to himself seeing this.
The Audi continued to maneuver through the cars before itself before making a sharp turn to the right. The two assassins jumped as he made the turn one managed to make it sticking their sword into the roof of the car the other on the other hand missed it and got hit by a SUV sending him flying the last assassin jumped over the SUV still in pursuit of the driver.
The assassin atop of the Audi made it to their feet before looking back down at the car they were standing on, raising their sword with both hands they stabbed down barely missing the driver who almost lost control of the car due to dodging the blade.
The assassin was forced to fall flat on their belly, their grip on the sword being the only reason they were still atop of the car. The assassin swung over to the side forming a fist, the driver was alerted to their action causing them to slam the door into the assassin. The action managed to stop the assassin who refocused their attention on holding unto the sword so as not to fall down.
The driver also realizing the efficiency of his actions did not let up, continuing to slam the door into the assassin which caused them to let out grunts of pain before eventually they were thrown of the car.
The driver began to smile as he was now down to one, who had now pulled out a submachine gun and began letting out fire. “Sh*t”
*ratatatata* gunfire was heard as the two continued to make their way unto different streets eventually ending up on another one. The Audi suddenly performed a 180, briefly surprising the assassin as the driver continued driving backwards as he glared at the assassin. The assassin getting over their shock continued firing at the driver who bent down for cover not slowing down in the least bit.
The assassin continued firing when the Audi before itself performed another spin, this time around it with the driver flipping them the bird with a wide grin on their face. The assassin was confused but as they turned back to look before them their eyes widened in horror as the crashed into a building and caused an explosion.
The driver stopped looking at the explosion, letting out a sigh of relief before turning around and driving away.
