I hate my laptop, while writing this chapter, i accidentaly clicked the previous page button right next to the arrow keys, losing pretty much all of the content, at least 5 times in 1 hour that i was writing. Anyways, thank you for the comments on the last chapter and as a writer, it is always good to see when people say they though something was interesting.
PS. This is an extra, a bit on the short side but i didn't want to stretch or cram to much stuff here at once.
Anyways enough rambling.
Enjoy!

Chapter 17: Awakening of the black flame
While the outside world was in uproar about what had happened in the fortress, Nalser was in immense pain. The black flame inside his Mana Palace, that had stayed like an illusion until now, went berserk. An immense amount of Mana gushed out from it and it wrecked both his Mana Palace and his body. He felt like he was made from gasoline and some smart a*s had decided to throw him a lit match.
He was getting closer and closer to the threshold of losing his sanity from the pain. He trashed around the cave, all of his clothes had already been ripped off, some even ripped to shreds. He's screams would even put Banshees to shame. Curo was frantically looking at him and then at the door. His head pendeling between the two, he wanted to go and ask for help but he had no means to do so. More importantly, where would he find someone, who even knew what was going on with him.
He wanted to help Nalser but had no means to do so, so his only option was to look over him as he trashed around in pain. Nalser's eyes were bloodshot already, his mind was reeling, thinking of the reasons why the flame had gone berserk, it hadn't shown any interaction or even a sign of movement until now. He cursed inside, in a loud voice, " Why the F*CK is this going on now. Why now?"
He couldn't understand the reason, why the flame had gone berserk. Suddenly the pain rose by threefold, instantly knocking him unconscious. His hair turned snow white, his skin became as pale as snow as well, It seemed like he had aged from 15 to 50 in a second. If you just glanced at him, you would think all his blood had been drained. When Curo saw this, he instantly went into panic, he rushed to Nalser's side seeming to check if he was still alive. feeling that the pact was still active and seeing his chest rising and falling, Curo relaxed a bit. He took the biggest form he could and wrapped around him. He just didn't know what else to do. He fell asleep, while guarding Nalser.

When Nalser was knocked out, he entered his consciousness. What he saw there left him completely dumbstruck, inside the consciousness, there were black flames everywhere, it almost seemed like an apocalypse. It was then, that it seemed like the black flame noticed him and started flying in his direction. He hurried to get out of the way, as he did, the black flame followed. seemingly unable to get away from it, he grit his teeth and readied himself for the intense pain again.
When the black flame hit him, it entered his consciousness's body. The pain didn't follow that left Nalser both confused and delighted. Suddenly he heard a big "BAM" inside his head and series of pictures started appearing in his head. At first he was confused, as to what those pictures were, then information started following it.
Stolen story; please report.
After half an hour had passed, it stopped. Since all the pictures and information were scrambled, he started arranging it. It took him 2 hours to finish sorting the information. When he was done, a face of both realization and confusion was clearly painted on his face. Now he had realized, that the information that entered directly his brain, was actually the memories of the flame. He learned a lot about he identity of the flame. As it turns out, this flame was the "Yang Flame". The name the people called it by was an "Asura Flame".
It could burn anything in any world and it couldn't be extinguished. It was extremely tyrannical and also extremely rare. Only people with a special body constitution could hold the flame, even fewer people actually awakened the flame. It was like this: In countless worlds, the probability of being born with an Asura Flame was 0.0003% and from that the probability of awakening the flame was 0.004%. Nalser understood how rare the Asura flame actually was. Since it is extremely strong and tyrannical, there is also no shortage of people trying to obtain that flame. If a person managed to snatch the flame from him and he didn't have a special body constitution, the only out come was an extremely excrutiating death. Since people thought too much of them, there was no shortage of idiots trying to snatch the flame. What he also learned was that an Asura Flames holder had a job imprinted in it. To find a Yin flame holder and protect him/her. In Nalser's case, he had to find the woman holding an awakened Yin Flame and protect her.
The Yin Flame, also known as the Nuwa Flame, was the exact opposite of Asura Flame. Nuwa flame didn't burn their target's, only healed. The Nuwa flame could cure any illness and even regrow lost limbs. If the person was a hair away from death, the Nuwa Flame could still bring that person back to life. The flames were opposites and called for each other, so it was actually quite easy to find the other person. Nalser could only sigh to this, " Seems like i got a great gift but at the same time a great curse..."
Thinking like that was quite understandable. Although he got extremely strong power, he also got countless people trying to steal it away from him. Exposing the fact that he was an Asura flame holder now, would be like painting a giant bulls eye on his back and wearing a sign, " Kill me and you'll get extreme power". " Well, currently I can't even handle the flame for 5 minutes, so it will be a long time before I can actually use it," he could only shrug his shoulders. his body could currently only generate a flame the size of a lit match, in a fight, it wasn't actually anything useful. He needed to refine the flame bit by bit and gradually make it his own, otherwise, he might burn himself to ashes along or instead of his enemies.
When he started examining the flame, he realized, that he would need to refine this flame for about 4-5 years before he could use the flame as he pleased. Since his body had been refined by the Asura flame, his body was a kin to an immortals. He couldn't die of old age or illness. When he learned that, he had decided that this flame was only a friggin curse, not a gift. He had learned a lot with the awakening and he needed some time to sort out all the information and get used to his new body. Also from the fight at the fortress he learned, just how pathetically small his Mana Pool is.
Thus he decided to exit the Mana Palace and opened his real eyes.
