I spring up out of the cot and get up as Tango and Whisky come in. Tango runs up, "Do you know anyone with fire ammunition?" I sigh, "Yeah, I'm great, Tango."
I jump as Switch jolts me, Nick! Finally!
Tango tries to hug me, but I turn away, "Switch?" She falls onto the cot,
Yeah, Gladius locked that thing up tight. "Gladius?"
I turn back to Tango lying on the cot. She just lies back and closes her eyes, "Could you help a little? I need a nap." She looks so innocent. I shake my head, "Yeah, c'mon Whiskey."
As we leave, Whiskey grabs my shoulder, "You alright?" I look down, "Ask me in a couple months." I point down in the market, "That yellow expo tent." When we get down to it, I march up. The thuggish stoner grimaces at my body. "What happened to you?"
I smile, "Fuckers got lucky. Say we needed fire bullets for an army, how much?" Whiskey whispers in my ear, "About five thousand guys."
"For five thousand soldiers?" The guy takes a moment, "7 million big ones." I turn and whisper in her ear, "We have that much?"

"We got two, including your credit with the boss." I inhale, "We've got that, when's the deal?" He scratches his back, "In a week, it'll be here. You better deliver." Whiskey clears her throat as I shake his hand smiling, "Hey, You wanna go smoke to seal the deal?" He stands up and turns to a buff guard in sunglasses, nodding.
Whiskey whispers in my ear, "What are you doing?" I follow him to a quiet corner and hang my arm on her, "Relax, babe."
He lights the blunt and takes a long puff before handing it to me. I stare at it, It's been years since I- Whiskey steals it from me and takes a hit. She smiles and blows it in my face.
I grab it again. I put my mouth on it and inhale. I try to not get it in my lungs, but some gets in as I breathe out. At least something still feels the same. I hand it to the guard and turn to that dealer. "Here's to future dealings, I'm Jake." The dealer giggles, "Trey" The guard glares into my eyes. Trey laughs, "Angel, lighten up." He leans against the wall and takes a puff.
Whiskey smiles at me, "Uh Jake, we gotta get more things for tonight." I turn around, "Enjoy guys." After we get some distance, she grumbles, "What was that all for?" I smirk, "I just wanted a hit." I walk into their expo and peek around. They're smart to keep their goods on their persons, but- I smile at a paper. Trey just fucked up big time.
Bring me the weapons and you all don't get raided, R.
I put it back the way I found it and quickly duck out before anyone's any wiser. "Aren't you worried? Angel's got an eyebat." I smile, "A what?" She looks off, "He's blind and he wants to hide it well." I smirk, "What, is he a bat?" She folds her arms and nods, "There's no following him without him knowing."
"Angel, what they sayin'?" I groan, "We'll have to set a trap."
