I stretch, "Alright, let's find the armory then." They nod, "You guys know where it's at?" We all look at each other as Zero smiles. I groan and have them follow. Tango gets right beside me, "What happened to your legs?" I wave, "Doesn't matter." Zero leans on my shoulder, "Yeah, come on!" I snarl, "Bill Solomon." They both halt, "You took down his cult?!"
Tango shouts, "Bad-ass!" They quickly catch up to me as I stumble upon the armory. Before getting any closer, a car with six wheels drives up and the marshal hops down, "They give you trouble?" I wave my hand, "You have a team that's harder?" The marshal's hearty laugh stops and he looks at my straight face, "You're serious? You'll have to make do with these guys." Why did he set me up with her?
I groan, march into the armory and slam my hand onto the counter, "Whatcha need?" The other two come in and gaze upon the weapons locked behind the cage, "I need them to be kitted out, I want two pistols-" "Two? Why?" I tilt my head and stare him down, "Because I like two, a bandolier vest, four extended mags, and the best assault rifle you got."
"Alright, crazy." He opens the cage and plops down the duffel instead of handing it to me. "Thanks, dick." He flips me off and gets back to the counter. A smile grows on his face, "Zero? How's it going, man!?" "Great, just here for another four." "The usual?" "Yup!" I really enjoy watching Tango sneak up to the counter, "Come on recruit, today already!"

She finally reaches the counter, "Ummm, what would you recommend?" The man sighs, "Just meet me at the door." She runs over and picks up her dropped duffel. She tries to get her vest on, but she fucks up at every strap. I swoop in, "I'll help you out." "Thanks" I try not to smile, but it happens anyway, "No problem." I grit my teeth all the way to the armored car, "Two pistols, Bolt?" I hop in the car, "Bolt?" I slam the door closed and wipe the stress off my face. He's too fucking cheery. Why isn't he reporting me? I really hope Rollins is wrong about him.
Zero gets in the front and Tango in the back and I shake off the glare into space. I roll down the window, "What's the route?" "It's marshal, soldier!" I roll my eyes, "What is our route, Marshal?" He frowns and shoves a folded up map in my face. "Thanks," I smile, Fuck. You. "Sir." I roll up the window and hand the map to Zero, "We're rolling out. Where's the radio?" Tango yells up to us, "Back here." "Ok, turn it to dispatch's channel."
I lean towards the back and put on a brave face, "Who's ready to kick some ass?" To my surprise, they both yell in one accord, "Fuck yeah!" Tango looks to me and grins, "Oh my god, look at him smile." I shake my head and put my new foot on the gas, "Shut up."
