A tall man in a black shabby stitched up black trench coat stood on top of a bridge in a smog infested city. The smog was so thick that it was hard to see 6 meters ahead of you. The man's skin was quite pale and white from years accumulated from breathing into the nasty smog. He had a dark shade under his eyes and his black hair that swayed from the wind that mixed with the smog was quite messy.
The bridge's name was called Final Destination. It got its name from the mass suicide that took place on this bridge. The bridge averaged at least 50 suicides per year, the people who usually committed suicide on this bridge were vagrants or people who didn't have the will to live anymore.
That was the reason why the tall man was standing on top of this bridge, he just didn't have the will to live anymore. It wasn't because of his economic situation or because he had suffered from long depression it was just because.
"It's so boring, so boring." The man mumbled under his breath.
He simply wanted to take his life away because of the boredom in his life, there was nothing fulfilling and he didn't want to put up with it anymore. He would rather die than live in a boring world. As the man thought of countless reasons to live, he simply couldn't. His parents died from young age because of the bad air system, and their situation wasn't good enough to support a second child. As he thought of this, he took a leap of faith.
There was a plunge in the sewage filled river and the man's body sank into the dirty water and his skull was cracked open by a rock. Blood flowed from his skull and his exposed brain was soon infested by the water.

The man's body drifted on top of the sewage river and it ended up shore in the sewage system of the city. His body stopped drifting when it hit another obstacle, it was the body of a vagrant. The vagrant's body was in worse condition than his, it had bite marks of rat and maggots infested into the wounds. Half of the man's face was gone and there were maggots everywhere on his body. The same fate was going to happen to the man who just killed himself if fate stayed true to itself.
There was darkness, simply darkness, there was nothing of the promised land of the after life. As Isaac thought of this he was quite disappointed. He thought that he would land up in hell or heaven, at least it would be more entertaining than this black abyss. As he thought of this, there was a bright flashing light in the abyss and as he saw this, he crawled toward it like a moth attracted to light.
As Isaac opened his eyes, he found himself in a sewage system. 'Is this the heaven I've been told about." Isaac mused as he thought of this. He took a look at his body that was very pale and reeked of a horrible stench. His skin was a little bloated but the worst thing were the maggots crawling all over his exposed brain. Although his body was in a bad situation he didn't feel too much pain just a massive head splitting headache.
As he tried to grab the maggots crawling on top of his brain he felt a sudden connection with the maggots, but it was quite hard to keep the connection stable. His nose started to bleed, but the maggots on his brain finally stopped trying to bite through his brain. As Isaac noticed this peculiar interaction he was ecstatic. The boring life that plagued him was finally gone, he would see a new world with this power.
"The days of modernity is gone, I will take a new direction in life that his just been unlocked to me with this power." He shouted and pumped his fist in the air, he was almost tempted to kiss the corpse next to him, but held back due to his reluctance to kiss a dead body.
He climbed out from a manhole and looked at the sunlight that barely pierced through the gray sky and smiled. The pedestrians were quite scared by him, as he was just sticking his head out from a manhole and smiled straight into the sky like a madman.
