It's been 3 months since the incident.
During those past months, the residents of Vermine Kingdom slowly rebuilt the things that they'd lost, including their trust in the royal family. Now that the demons are gone and the real prince is back, a new system was implemented to signify that a new dawn is rising. They took down the walls that have been separating the rich and the poor, literally. The prince made sure that the residents of the Vermine Kingdom will live a happy life free of discrimination and oppression. The prince promised everyone that he'll dedicate his entire life to serving the kingdom alongside Princess Raya and Keith.
As for the others, Stephany's gang and the witches stayed for the first month to help but immediately left afterward to resume the work they left behind. Of course, I didn't forget to say thanks to them so we threw a mini farewell party before they departed.
The girls, Komraad, and I also helped in rebuilding the kingdom. We still stayed at the orphanage because it was already like a home to us. Amalia and Miguel continued on dedicating their lives to managing it.
Now that everything's back to normal, a ceremony is going to be held to properly crown the prince as the king of the Vermine Kingdom and he invited us because he wanted to award us for saving their kingdom. We told him that he didn't have to do it but he insisted, for formality's sake so we had no choice but to agree.
It's the day of the coronation. Everyone went to watch the prince get crowned. After that, we were called on the stage to get recognized and awarded.
“Everyone, please let us welcome the saviors of our kingdom!” One of the attendants shouted.
Me, Komraad, and the girls came to the stage after getting introduced. Everyone was cheering us up. Even Amor and his daughter were also with the crowd.
“This is embarrassing! I'm not used to being the center of attention but looking at the girls, they seem to be enjoying it so I'll just go with the flow until it's over.”
The ceremony took longer than usual but we were finally free to go anywhere.
“I'm glad that was finally over!” I shouted.
“Ms. Ina, we're glad too, it was really hot out there,” Rein added.
Komraad on the other hand looked so excited.
“Look cat, it's real gold! I can buy so many foods with it!” He said while showing me the medal he received.
“Mr. Komraad, that's not for sale!” Fae reminded him.
“This dog never changes! Oh, he's also back on calling me cat again.”
“What do we do now Ms. Ina?” Astrid asked.
“Let's just go back to the orphanage, it's really hot right now so I don't feel like sightseeing,” I answered.
We rode our carriage and went back to the orphanage.
As soon as we arrived, we noticed something was wrong. We didn't see anyone around the house. We opened the door and were shocked because everyone was actually waiting for us inside to surprise us.
“Welcome back!” Everyone greeted.
Everyone was present. The orphans, Amalia, Miguel, and even the princess were there. Behind them was a feast they prepared for us to congratulate us on saving the Kingdom.
“G-guys, you didn't have to do this,” I said to them While feeling embarrassed.
“Ms. Ina, this is nothing compared to what you have done for us. At least let us repay you with something,” Princess Raya replied.
“Just shut up and party already!” Miguel interrupted.
“Hell yeah!” Komraad and Astrid immediately went for the food.
Keith, May, and the prince also arrived to celebrate with us.

“Sorry, we’re late.”
We ate and partied all night. Everyone was enjoying themselves to the fullest without having to worry about anything at all.
After a long day, the party came to an end. All the kids fell asleep and the others went back to the palace to resume their duties.
I helped Amalia and Miguel clean up and after that, I went to the balcony to sniff some fresh and maybe stare at the moon. I was deep in my thoughts again. A lot has happened since I came here and I'm thankful that everything worked out in the end.
While I was deep in my thoughts, Komraad suddenly appeared and sat right next to me.
[Deep inhale and exhale]
“Hey, cat. Isn't it nice to feel at peace once in a while?” Komraad asked.
“Yeah, it does feel nice. Recently all we ever did was fight. After that is more fighting. A change of pace is kind of what I need right now,” I answered.
We were both admiring the moon when I suddenly felt like asking him a silly question.
“Hey, Komraad. Aren't you gonna turn feral if you stare at the moon for too long?”
“I might turn feral if you keep asking dumb questions.”
*Tee-hee.*
“Anyway, where did that thought even come from?” He followed up.
“Nothing important. it's just something I've watched before. It's a really famous concept in my old life.”
“Old life? What do you mean by that? Wait... do you remember your past now?”
“Yeah, I remember everything now.”
“When did it start?”
“When I came back to life.”
“Why only tell me now?”
“I just thought it wasn't the right time yet, but now that everything's okay, would you mind listening to my story?”
“As long as it's not boring.”
“Oh, I'll definitely tell you something that'll blow your mind!”
I told Komraad everything. I told him I'm from Earth and that I was a Mom who died in an accident and got reincarnated in this world as a cat.
“Other worlds exist? That's freaking awesome!” Komraad was more interested in the concept rather than the story itself. I can't blame him, there's really nothing interesting in my old life.
“So after that what happened next?” He followed up.
“That's it for my past. I thought death was the end but look where it took me now. I woke up in this world in a different body. I got to explore different places and got to meet different people. It was fun and scary at the same time but it was totally worth it!”
“My only regret was not being able to properly say goodbye to my daughter and not being there to see her grow up. Maybe that's the reason why I'm so attached to the girls. I see my daughter in them and I wanna atone by making it right this time.”
“I see. It was really fun going on a lot of adventures with you and the girls but now that I think about it, everything started because you have no recollection of your past. Now that you remember everything, does that mean our adventures are gonna end here?” He asked with a sad expression on his face.
“What are you talking about? This is only the beginning of our adventures. We still have lots of places to explore plus I promised the girls I'd be showing them the world and how beautiful it is.”
“Hell yeah! That’s what I’m talking about!”
Komraad and I had a blast talking and it was satisfying to finally be able to open up. We went to sleep after our long conversation.
Morning came. Komraad was still sleeping so I went ahead to the kitchen to drink some milk.
I was about to leave the kitchen when I saw the girls with Amalia through the window. They seem to be holding a piece of paper.
“Oh, I wonder what they're up to this early in the morning?”
I approached them to ask what they were doing.
“Hey, girls, what's with the paper?”
“Ms. Ina, it's something very important to us,” Rein answered.
“What is it?”
Amalia handed me the paper. I read everything that was written on it and was shocked in the end.
“Ina, It's an adoption paper. The girls want to be adopted by you,” Amalia explained.
“Ms. Ina, We didn't mean to eavesdrop but we heard your conversation with Mr. Komraad last night,” Astrid mentioned.
“After hearing your full story, the three of us decided in the end that we wanna make things official,” Rein added.
“Ms. Ina, the three of us have no family, not until you found us. We made up our minds, and we decided that we want you as our new Mom, that is if you want us to be your daughter,” Fae explained further.
The look in their eyes says it all.
I was speechless. I didn't even notice that tears had already started falling down my face.
“Are you girls sure you want me as your Mom? I always put you all in danger and I don't think I deserve to be your mom because of that.”
“It's you who we want, no matter what happens we'll stick with you until the very end," Fae answered. The others agreed.
It was an emotional ride but my decision has already been set ever since I read the paper. I want to be closer to these girls. I wanna be there for them when they need me the most, when they're at their lowest. I wanna see them smile and be happy all the time. I just want to be their mother.
I took the paper and signed below it. The girls have already signed it before they even gave it to me.
“It's official. You girls are now my daughter.”
The three of them rushed in to give me a hug.
“Can we finally call you Mom?” The girls asked.
“Yes, of course, you can.”
“Mom, we love you so much,” the girls said in unison.
“Aah… a happy ending, and I'll make sure it'll stay this way until the very end. No matter what hurdles life throws at us, we'll overcome it together.”
I can't wait to have more adventures with my newfound family.
[End of Season 1]
...
From far far away, a human kingdom was also facing the same demon problem as the Vermine Kingdom.
“Aah... What a sad way to go. I had a huge expectation for them, but the demon's that I assigned in the Vermine Kingdom had finally fallen. How do you assess the ones who ruined our plans, Saro?”
“It was a tough fight. They were really powerful, especially the cat. She'll be the biggest threat to us. Thank goodness I was able to get away with my teleportation or else it would've been the end for me.”
“I see... How about the chosen ones? Have they started making a move?”
“No, they still aren't aware of our plans.”
“Hmm... We are short on time. We must act as soon as possible, for our queen's immediate return. Notify the other demons residing in the other kingdoms. Tell them that our plan continues.”
“Understood.” Saro immediately teleported away.
[Laughing Menacingly]
“It's finally time to resurrect the Titans.”
