The weekend was over and the day had arrived. Miche knew from the memories of the body on how much Rold’s bullies would torment him at school. Rold was nothing but an outcast with books to fill his mind, and only one girl would talk to him, Jasmine. A black haired, green eyed girl that lived in a neighbourhood near the town square.
“Hurry up Rold. Get down here already.” His sister yelled.
“Coming Helga.”
Rold’s sister was definitely caring of him and Miche appreciated it a lot. He knew for sure that if she had any idea about the bullies, there wouldn’t be a single bone of them left. However, Miche didn’t like Rold’s reputation at school. It was worse than Miche’s during his old life in art school so he had to solve this problem himself and create a new and positive environment.
The bell rung loud in consecutive repetitive chimes and eventually, it came to a stop. It reminded Miche of his high school and elementary days which sort of awakened a heavy level of nostalgia. The day had been going well with the first two subjects of the day, Arithmetic and History. Sadly, Miche would definitely run into the bullies during break time, as they would usually hustle him for his money or homework, when suddenly, while the teacher was explaining the importance of the middle war from thousands of years ago, Miche had a wonderful idea.
“System. Can I implement my old strength and speed from my old body into this body?” He thought.
The green text box appeared in front of him and it read,
‘Would you like to transfer past body data into new body? Yes/No’
Miche immediately chose yes and felt an immense shock in his body. He began grinding his teeth, held onto the table with his left hand tightly and clenched onto his stomach with his right. His mouth began drooling as the shocks became more immense and he could feel multiple muscle spasms. The pain slowly subsided but a few kids in the class looked back at him like he was some kind of exotic animal.
“Rold, are you alright back there? You need to go to the nurses room?” The teacher asked.
“No. Honestly, I’m fine.” He said smiling.
The teacher turned back around after nodding and continued teaching the class.
“Gosh, I almost shit myself. The pain was way too high. The system should tell me when things get immense like that.” He thought anxiously.
The History class soon came to an end and the class made their way outside, slowly merging with other classes and being let out into the school grounds like a group of free sheep. Miche immediately started thinking of ways to avoid the gang of abusive boys. He remembered from Rold’s memories that they usually came out after stealing snacks off of some other victims inside, so all he had to do was hide in a nearby bush or in the bathrooms.
A sudden and reckless thought crossed his mind as he was considering routes to escape possible torture.
“Maybe, I don’t have to hide from them. After all, I’ve regained my strength.”
A few moments later from the side of the swing sets, Miche watched the boys come out of the building with many sweets and chocolates.

“D’you see how he almost wet himself?” A fat one laughed.
“Yeah, he looked like an absolute geek. Even more than that loser Rold.” The short one added on. He was furiously munching on a chocolate bar.
“Hm…you guys just enjoy whatever you want. I’m gonna get my homework off of Rold.”
Here he comes, the gang leader, Dylan. An absolute towering giant for his age. He was both lean and fat at the same time and had blond scruffy hair, which sort of annoyed Miche.
He noticed Miche at the swing set and came marching over.
“Aren’t you usually curled up reading or crying in the library at break?” He said mockingly.
Miche could hear the intent to provoke in his voice. Where did he get off doing what he wanted? Miche was determined to stand up to him and change Rold’s reputation for the better.
“Felt like getting some air today.” Miche walked over to him and looked right up at him while saying this.
Dylan narrowed his eyes and grabbed Miche’s head.
“Where’s my homework? You know it’s due for todays faith and magic class, right?” He asked in a dark tone.
“Do the work yourself. Piss brain!” Miche exclaimed.
Dylan was boiling red with fury. His whole career in bullying, he never experienced someone who would fight back and mock him so easily. Especially someone as weak willed as Rold.
He grabbed tightly onto Miche’s head and charged a heavy punch to the face with his other hand. All the other kids watched but didn’t really care as they expected Miche to just get knocked out onto the floor like usual.
“Stop it!” Jasmine screamed from the football pitch. She was too far away so she couldn’t help Miche as usual.
In a split second, Miche was pulling on Dylan’s hand from behind and had his foot on Dylan’s back in a sort of advanced judo technique. Many watched in awe, the bullies were stunned and Dylan was furious. Miche let go of him and stepped back a bit, knowing that Dylan was going to swing on him in a fit of rage. A crowd of kids begun to gather and teachers began rushing over to stop. Miche noticed this and knew he had to finish Dylan off quickly. Dylan began with a flurry of different attacks that Miche was easily able to dodge.
“Rold’s small and light body makes this guys punches look hella slow. Don’t worry Rold, I’ll get revenge for you.” He said to himself.
He grabbed one of Dylan’s fists and begun squeezing it with his regained strength from his past life. He could hear some crunching from the bone and immediately stopped as Dylan balled up on the floor in pain, tears dripping down his face. Most of the kids were horrified by this. They always saw Dylan as the top dog, so him being defeated by someone they all saw as weak and pathetic was unprecedented, and too much for their weak minds to comprehend. Some were clapping of course due to being tormented by Dylan and his gang for many years as well but others were just stunned. Jasmine looked at Miche in awe.
Sadly, the situation didn’t end well. Rold's parents were called in and were informed that he was in a fight with Dylan and that due to the damage on Dylan’s body, Miche would be suspended for a week and a half.
“I can’t believe you Rold. After all we’ve done for you.” His father said.
“Please take school seriously.” His mother said.
Miche could only look down at the floor. He promised Rold that he wouldn't stress his parents out, but did exactly that. Luckily, he wouldn't get pushed around in school any longer. That topic on wars in History was actually interesting too him.
While making his way upstairs, he caught a glimpse of his sister next to her room door. He thought that she would give him a speech as well but instead saw her holding a thumbs up. He smiled and went into his room.
"I do miss everyone back at home but maybe this world isn't so bad. If I go back, I'm sure to put everyone in danger with those assassins coming after me." he said to himself.
He slumped onto his bed and drifted off.
