Skills! Like stats they are a very important part of life, however, do not confuse Skills with other 'Skills'. Now, that may not make sense, so allow me an explanation. While a person may not have "Cooking Expertise" under their skill list, that does NOT mean they are not potentially an expert in cooking.
For this explanation I will refer to the former, SKILLS under the Skill list, by capitalizing them, while skills, not under the skills list, without capitalization.
Now, SKILLS separate themselves from skills by a number of points,
One! SKILLS are activated differently from skills, while skills can be done simply by performing the proper actions, Skills must be activated. Whether through conscious activation, muscle memory, or as reflex, they still must be activated.
Two! SKILLS can take you through the motion, while skills are performing the motion on your own. Thrusting a spear forward as one was trained is separate from using the 'Spear Thrust' SKILL.
Three! SKILLS are almost always highly, if not completely quantifiable and calculateable. Turning to 'Spear Thrust' VS 'thrusting a spear' again, 'Spear Thrust' always deals 1.25x the normal damage someone would do without it and has a bonus chance to penetrate certain defenses. On the other hand, 'thrusting a spear' is practically incalculable, and less quantifiable to the point of argument on where poking stops and thrusting begins.
Now with that, below is a table of SKILLS that have already been mentioned, with explanations as to what they do.
Brain Burn Deal 1.5x magic fire damage to an enemy, if this does deal damage, they can't use magic for 50 seconds.

Creates a forceful wind on impact. Varies by user. Continuous Mana Gain At the start of every turn, regen 15% max MP. Stubborn Soul Can only die by HP loss, effects that would otherwise kill, such as decapatation, instead deal large bonus damage. Learn by Example Learn a skill after it's been used three times within sight. Dice With Death Every Turn spent dead, there is a one in six chance to revive with Half Max HP and MP restored. Fire Breath Deal fire damage in a large cone from the mouth. No MP cost. Flight Fly using wings or other flight granting appendages. Disables if the method of flight is. No MP cost. Lesser Cleanse Clothes A weaker version of Cleanse Clothes. A utility based spell made by man, useful for smaller and more recent stains. Leaves a damp patch where the stain was. VERY Low MP cost. Lesser Dry
A spell that dries a small area. Compliments the Cleanse Clothes spells well. Low MP cost.
