The fight ended in a few breaths, and Qin Jia’s fight attracted the attention of many contenders. Few of them decided to avoid confronting him, some decided to wait till they are about to compete. Many competitors continued vying for the Flame Baby fruits.

Yao Xiong looked at Qin Jia and then at Lan Yue who was near the barrier giving some instructions. He turned his attention to the ripening Flame Baby fruits, found a ripened fruit, and let his team take action immediately. Although the Qi Transformation cultivators who had also eyed the same fruit panicked when they see his team in action, they steeled their nerves and competed with them.

Yao Xiong’s excellent team quickly picked the fruit and handed it to a True Qi realm cultivator. The peer in the opposite team took a step back without taking any action and lowered his head.

The True Qi realm cultivator played with the box as he sneered in disgust, observing him.

Streaks of lightning flashed not far away from Qin Jia. He turned to see Yao Xiong grabbing a box from a weakened and injured cultivator of Phoenix Jade Palace and tossing it to his team.

Qin Jia saw Yao Xiong flying towards him and became alert.

Yao Xiong used a skill, and a lighting net surrounded Qin Jia and his teammate. He ordered them, “Have your teammate hand me a Flame Baby fruit to set you free. Or try to escape from this lightning net by yourself.” His actions attracted the attention of all the cultivators present. The cultivators who were still competing eyed the Qi Transformation cultivators of Lan Yue’s team, who reached a fruit. They might get an additional Flame Baby fruit.

“What do you mean by this, senior brother Yao Xiong?” The trapped True Qi realm questioned in fury.

“Yao Xiong, what are you doing?” Lan Yue shouted loudly.

“This is a small punishment. Don’t make a fuss over it.” Yao Xiong laughed mockingly.

Qin Jia circulated the True Qi into his sword and used a skill, Triple fiery waves. He swung his sword according to the postures of the skill, and instantly three sword strikes overlapped. These sword energies slashed through the lightning net, resulting in its collapse.

“Heh, you are capable.” Yao Xiong sneered. Although he was angry, he had some speculations that this lightning net might not stop Qin Jia. He had observed him when he was free.

“If there are any disputes, let's fight.” Qin Jia pointed his sword at Yao Xiong, with drops of flames rotating rapidly around him. Their team had already assumed that Yao Xiong might target them and was prepared. It’s just Yao Xiong was silent until this moment, so they were caught off guard.

Yao Xiong sent a Lightning Fury Palm at Qin Jia, lightning condensed into a palm, and the thunderclaps deafened the ears of Qin Jia as he attempted to slice it with his sword.

The Fire Sword Energy tore the lightning palm in half.

Each half of the lightning palm struck Qin Jia on his shoulders. He was scarred by the lightning and bled from his wounds.

Meanwhile, the True Qi realm cultivator of Qin Jia’s team unleashed a barrage of Fire skills at Yao Xiong. Yao Xiong blocked most of them but was still burnt by him. Even though his Qi reserves were about to drain, he continued to launch the flames barrage on Yao Xiong.

-Hiss- Enduring the pain, Qin Jia raised his sword to struck at Yao Xiong with his skill, Ignition Petal Dance. The drops of flames rotating around Qin Jia changed into burning flower petals and pushed towards Yao Xiong.

A Lightning bird swirled around Yao Xiong and rushed towards the burning petals. The burning petals were burned down instantly upon touching the Lightning Bird. The Lightning Bird continued to smash towards Qin Jia.

When he saw the Lightning Bird, Qin Jia injected True Qi into his sword. He raised it to block the lightning bird, while covering himself with dense True Qi. He was scorched by the Lightning Bird as it passed through him.

“Argh” He screamed in pain as the remains of the Lightning Qi did additional damage to him.

Both of the True Qi realm cultivators from Lan Yue's team were in poor condition.

Yao Xiong stopped attacking as his enormous Qi reserve was about to exhaust after using the Lightning Bird skill.

Qin Jia sent a last attack towards those who were trying to grab the fruit from the Qi Transformation realm juniors, showing that he was still capable of fighting back.

Qin Jia took a healing pill and circulated his True Qi while he was staying alert to Yao Xiong’s attack.

“Let’s fight another time.” Yao Xiong remarked and turned around.
