Chapter 7 - Awakening
“Your king’s speech is developing quite nicely, sir.”
“Hmph,” Jinn remained stoic.
“And might I say as well, sir, that your attitude has improved as well.”
“Oh?” That got Jinn to speak, “Please, enlighten me, Veda.”
“Sir, I have always known you as The Angel of Death. Silence was your language and action was your speech. But now, you are willing to take people as your servants?”
Jinn looked surprised for a quick second, “Was that it?” He said with indifference.
“?”
Even for a superintelligence like Veda, he couldn’t perceive the wisdom.
“Then maybe the nanomachines have changed me after all.”
Veda had always thought his Master was a person of the highest and most refined nature any human being can strive to become. Though, that statement will raise great concern amongst the people of Earth.
“If I had remained who I was before, then there was no need for us to take a gamble with the dark star that led us to this planet.”
With that, Veda came to understand what his Master had said. The super artificial intelligence nodded, "Will you unleash the Androids?"
"There's no need for that."
Perplexed, the super artificial intelligence posed a question.
"Would this not be the easiest and most efficient way possible?"
The hooded man held a smirk on his face, "Without a doubt."
"Then why all this preparation, sir?"
“There is still much for you to pick up on, Veda. Once Dario reaches Grandmaster Level, Glenn will join him and take the Western Continents.”
“I see now. What magnificent foresight, sir.” Veda praised Jinn’s ability to see far ahead in the future. Even then, the superintelligence of Veda doubted that such plans would go as expected.
First and foremost, the planet they are on is unmarked territory. It is something that a human from Earth has never experienced. However, Veda’s thinking was short-sighted. Even though Jinn and Veda were stranded on an alien planet, the superintelligent nanomachines underestimated Jinn’s adaptability.
You see, Jinn is an extraordinary human being. From the time when he was just four years old, he was already being taught how to become an elite killer. He is also an extraordinary human being fused with quantum nanomachines.
In addition, long before Jinn fused with Veda, Jinn had already exacted his revenge. By that time, Jinn was at the age of 19 years old. It was a heavenly feat as if the heavens were on Jinn’s side. With all that said, this does not begin to cover the true value of Jinn’s power.
From birth, Jinn was blessed by the Heavens twice. The first blessing is that Jinn can copy anything he sees with one hundred percent accuracy. The last blessing is martial prowess.
Anything having to do with combat, he would excel and dominate. Yet, being blessed by the Heavens twice comes at a price, Jinn would be limited to the age of 35. In other words, he would die at a relatively young age.
Being blessed twice is both a blessing and a curse that causes a tremendous burden on the body. Jinn, being the top talent that he is, would often cough out blood in dire and fatal situations which rarely occur. If Jinn had gone like that for decades, he wouldn’t even live to be 40 years old. Therefore, the only way to prolong his life would be to fuse quantum nanomachines into his body and improve upon his unidentified terminal illness.
-That is Veda’s shortsightedness.
With Jinn having fused with Veda, world domination would be child’s play. No enemy on Earth would dare make Jinn their enemy since he disintegrated the United States Pentagon with a beam of light that Jinn called the “God Beam.” The bright ray of light made the officials, senators, generals, officers, and agents, it didn’t matter, they thought that God’s ray of light was punishing them and casting them down to hellfire.
By then, the whole world understood to never mess with Jinn. The Americans and the entire world were humbled and terrified of Jinn’s power.
It was at that moment that they understood why Jinn was called “The Angel of Death.”
-And, that there is the answer.
Jinn having the ability to shoot the God Beam from outer space would make this new planet called Soa child’s play as well.
Anyhow, Jinn decided that he would live in this new world in secret. He doesn’t wish to be known in the slightest. Only a select few will be granted the privilege of being in his presence. Thus, by training Dario and taking the burden of Vicegerency, the Omen Tribe would be sufficient to expand the nation’s borders.
All that was needed was time.
Jinn would personally train Dario until he reaches the age of 17. By then, Dario is expected to reach the Transcendence Realm and become a Martial Master. Under his Master’s guidance, Dario will be at a level that would be called, “overwhelming.”
So far, Dario is in his early teens. It would be a substantial amount of time until he reaches 17 years old.
***
Some time has passed since Jinn made the declaration to his people. It seems that Jinn has fully accepted his fate as Vicegerent of the planet Soa. In essence, he would in turn make the Omen Tribe a thousand-fold more than what they are. As of right now, the Omen Tribe has territories in Hollow World and areas around Mount Tian. That piece of information is vital.
It means that the Omen Tribe has resources located in the desert and mountainous regions. To the people of this world, they thought that the Omen Tribe’s land could never help sustain themselves since living in a desert or mountains tends to not have an environment that is suitable for growing food. This indeed is a reasonable argument.
That posed no problem for Jinn who was born at a time when technology was advanced. At any rate, Jinn has trained Dario for six months and his growth was exemplary. The young man’s growth grew to astounding heights incomparable to the time before becoming Lord Disciple.
“Master,” said Dario.
Jinn nodded, permitting Dario to speak.
“This martial art of the ‘Heavenly Demon’ is an amazing power more than I should ever deserve.”
“Naturally, being my Disciple would lead you to become strong. No Disciple of mine will be weak. The time will come when you will learn what it means to have the burden of power upon your shoulders,” Jinn replied.
Jinn had trained Dario under many methods.
First of all, Dario would not inherit the fusing of quantum nanomachines. Jinn had other plans which he did not reveal to Dario. As of right now, Dario has yet to understand or even grasp the intentions of his Master. Consequently, Jinn found a way for Dario to reach astounding heights in this world.
“‘The Heavenly Demon Manual’ is the pinnacle of all martial arts. It is an art that pierces the Mystic Realm and beyond. Now, open your status screen and tell me your review.”
“Yes, Master.”
By the command of Lord Vicegerent, Dario pressed his dark elegant watch wrapped on his left wrist and a holographic screen popped into view.

Dario’s status screen merely shows a reflection of an individual’s physiology simplified into numerical values. The numbers themselves reflect the true and total value of the given attribute. With Veda’s superintelligent brainpower, he can compose millions of scientific formulas into one which can prove the status screen to be real.
“Before, my power did not even amount to this much. But thanks to the ‘Heavenly Demon Aura’ of increasing and refining one’s chi, I was able to raise my attributes to a level equal to a mid-tier Transcendence Realm Martial Master.”
“Very good. And, your conclusion?”
“I think now would be a good time to level up.”
Chuckle.
Jinn’s subtle chuckle led Dario to believe that he was close to the answer, but not completely, “I am deploying you to Hollow World. Veda will fill you in on the details.”
“Yes, Master.”
“The future of the Omen Tribe relies on how fast you can complete side missions, my Disciple.”
“I will take heed to your boundless wisdom, Master,” with that said, Dario stood from his kneeling position and set forth to do what was commanded.
On the status screen, Dario’s level does not reflect someone from the level 30s to have that many high attributes, in reality, Level 30 on the planet Soa is a low number. However, if Dario were to compare himself to anyone on Earth, then he would be equivalent to a high-level Special Forces combative. Yet, by Earth’s standards in comparison to Soa’s alien species is incomparable. Earth is a planet where humans have enough intelligence for free will. Soa has many species straight out of mythical lore. Ultimately, Jinn saw fit that his stats were sufficient and were now ready to go on missions.

Back then, Dario and the Omen Tribe were struggling to keep the monsters, beasts, dinosaurs, and demons at bay between Hollow World and the territories within Mount Tian. His village sat on a good patch of land suitable for crops. Nonetheless, the Omen Tribe is settled within the lands of demons and monsters.
The only reason why the monsters and demons weren’t able to wipe out the Omen Tribe was because of Elder Saru. However, Elder Saru is still one man. He had to sacrifice a considerable amount of chi during the Omen Campaign. The war took a toll on Elder Saru’s body and meridians. When the Omen Nation was on the verge of total destruction, they had the chance to save themselves by splitting off into sects and retreating into hidden lands not known by the enemy.
Elder Saru’s group was the last to retreat as they held essential individuals. But, they were ambushed at Hollow World when they were about to rendezvous and cultivate the lands of Mount Tian. The old man told the villagers and the remaining warriors to retreat and leave him to handle the incoming enemies. That was when Elder Saru was pushed beyond his limits at an extremely old age.
After facing off against many powerful enemies, Elder Saru, also known as Omen Sect’s 3rd Demonic Master “The Demonic Teacher of the Twin Moons,” Elder Shin Sarutobi remained victorious.
Still, he sacrificed one-third of his chi for him to defeat them all. Most importantly, he even sacrificed his Chaos Rings. A Legendary Technique of his that manifests twin rings the length of a greatsword through mana/chi. It was Elder Sarutobi’s favorite technique that gained him the recognition of being called the “Demonic Teacher.” Not only was he at a level where he could easily fend off monsters and demons single-handedly, but he would also have plenty of energy left over even in his old age. Truly, he did teach the enemies to not make enemies of the Omen Nation. Therefore, Dario was given a perfect opportunity to level up and complete other vital tasks.
“Veda,” Dario said.
“Yes, young master?”
“Master said you would brief me on the details?”
“Very good, young master,” the holographic butler bowed to the young disciple. “Please open mission objectives on your watch.”
What was shown were various tabs containing main missions and side missions.
*A notification screen pops up*
An automated voice is heard from Dario’s watch, “Mission briefing. You have been commanded by Lord Vicegerent to deploy to Hollow World and recruit special characters and the slaying of monsters and demons.”
“Do you understand what my liege had said to you about completing side missions first?” Veda asked.
“Not entirely.”
“It’s fine as long as you complete the easy side missions first. That would be a great place to start. Tell me, young master, how many mission objectives would you like to see on the vision interface?”
“Show them all.”
“Very wise, young master.”
*Side Mission Objectives*
[Reanimate the Eldar Lich, Deluc.]
[Ressurect the Undead Boss, Parsifal]
[Recruit the 3 powerful Peak Realm Experts referred by Elder Saru.]
[Great King Bear Pelt - 1/1]
[Cultivate 5 Arcane Circle Rings around your heart.]
[Cultivate Saihah (Dragon’s Breath) and develop a new breath.]
[Raise an Undead Legion of supremacy.]
[Recruit worthy talent for citizenship.]
Numerous side mission objectives popped into view.
It seems Dario has his work cut out for him.
The only thing the young master needs to figure out is which one would be done the fastest.
“Let’s make something out of the Great King’s Bear Pelt.”
“Ah. The beast-monster species that ruled a forest not too far from here? Pray tell, young master.”
“Right. You didn’t get a chance to hear how I attained Peak Realm at a young age. It was because of the Great King Bear.”
Dario went and told the story to Veda of this young desert boy’s terrifying encounter.
***
Before Jinn landed on the strange new planet, Soa, Dario was already a disciplined martial artist. His late father trained him through body reformation practices and basic arms mastery. From a young age, Dario has been raised to become skilled and competent. That was expected of him since he comes from a blessed lineage.
In the beginning, Dario’s father taught him a chi/force cultivation method primarily named “Qi of Asura.” This chi cultivation method is special in the fact that the more a practitioner uses it, the more the body evolves into a true martial body. Dario’s father knew the essential aspect of becoming not a good fighter, but a great one.
With a divine method of increasing one’s chi, the vessel could now learn and comprehend to wield weapons at an incredible rate. However, Dario’s father did not teach his son any special martial art, skills, techniques, or even arcane spells. It was because Dario’s father passed away not too long ago.
Yet, not all is lost. It was already planned by his late father that practicing the Qi of Asura would enable his son’s body to learn any martial arts or arcane spells. With all that said, Dario set out on the path of power and decided to slay the Great King Bear.
The young boy thought at the time it would help him. It was an amazing fight. To describe it in the game-like system, the Great King Bear’s stats and level would look like this when Dario fought against it.
Lord of Bloodwood Forest, Great King Bear Lvl: 20 Class: Peak Realm
Titles: Great King’s Solace (passive)
Great King’s Pride (passive)
HP: 3550
MP: 50
STR: 55
DEF: 54
VIT: 60
INT: 12
WIS: 4
SPR: 3
DEX: 35
SPD: 39
LCK: 2
Great King’s Solace - The more time spent alone, the faster accumulation of experience gathered. Great King’s Pride - Having been blessed with great strength and constitution, physical attributes will grow at double the race.
The massive black bear would be classified as a “Boss” type level. In terms of trying to find a way to attain power, slaying an opponent like that is extremely dangerous for species below level 30. The Great King Bear was strong enough to rule a small-sized forest by itself. Its true value can be deduced by the bear’s Titles. Those two alone could have enabled the bear to fight Elder Saru if it had enough time to grow.
With those two Titles, the bear was just a powerful beast. It held no talent in magic or intelligent thinking. All along, there was no opponent the bear could take down with brute strength, that is, until Dario. A skilled young fighter with dreams of attaining the Peak Realm.
Back then, Dario’s level was different.
Dario Lvl: 10 Class: 1st Rate Warrior Main Job - Warrior: Lvl 40
Titles: Noble Lineage (passive)
Qi of Asura Practitioner (passive)
HP: 1300
MP: 60
AP: 200
STR: 77
DEF: 75
VIT: 76
INT: 78
WIS: 81
SPR: 79
DEX: 55
SPD: 70
LCK: 12
Evasion rate: 0%
Critical chance: 0%
Noble Lineage - Being born from a bloodline of nobility grants all mana-based attributes to double in growth. Qi of Asura Practitioner - Having constantly trained in the unknown chi cultivation art, “Qi of Asura,” all physical attributes will grow at a tremendous rate.
His attributes were similar to lower-ranked Peak Realm experts. At the time, it was extremely inadvisable to even go close to the Lord of Bloodwood Forest. With just one swipe of its paw, it would have killed Dario.
It all came down to a clever strategy of how to deal with the bear. The only way for Dario to emerge as the winner of the fight is to not get hit by the bear at all. Therefore, the young warrior played hit-and-run tactics while escaping through the forest and hiding. When the kingly bear lost sight of Dario, that's when the 1st Rate Warrior would make his move. Dario knew it was foolish to face the Great King Bear in plain sight. As the young warrior was cutting the beast's health, the bear entered a berserk stage. It was at that moment that Dario pierced his sword deep into the Demonic Bear’s cranium. And just like that, Dario was victorious.
