I wake up. My body feels cold. I look around and I see water around me while I laid in the sand. I get up stretch my bones from the fatigue of my slumber. It feels like I ran a mile. On a lone island, I start making for camp. I gather the necessities for a fire and shelter. All I have on me are almond nuts I received from... From... From... Where did I get these nuts again? I don't remember anything from before I arrived here. All I remember is my father telling me to go, go to the West in search of what you seek. Did I find what I was looking for? Why? Why can't I remember anything?!
Samuel Gaia is alone on an island named Yume Island. He had believed that this island will be what he was waiting for all this time, and yet, nothing has happened. He survives until a few days left in the month of March. Samuel soon explores the rest of the island seeing as how the island is one of the bigger islands around Foolshope. He makes his way through the tropical wilderness seeing creatures that he has never seen with his own two eyes. The creatures look back at him suggesting that he is the one that would bring change in the world. The critters, at the sight of him, flee, not from fear but from the people that were watching him. Samuel quickly turns around and sees nothing.
"What? What the hell was that? Wait, what's this feeling? It feels... Familiar. I can't put it together." Samuel grabs his head with both of his hands. In the middle of the wilderness, Samuel weeps, alone, he's afraid of what happened, happening, and what is going to happen after he is done exploring. He will have nothing to do on the island except for survive. How long will it take for help to arrive? Do they know I'm even gone? Maybe they forgot too?
Samuel leaves from his current spot, across the wilderness once more. He approaches the last stretch of the island. He has been looking forward to this moment since the start of yesterday morning, he finally arrives only to see. The ocean.
"More water and sand huh? Should've guessed." He cried, Samuel whimpers as he grovels on the ground for hours until the morning. He cried himself to sleep. He wakes up with bags of sleep deprivation and tear marks. He looks up and sees two beach chair recliners and decides to rest their until the new day starts. He sees the sunrise again but only this time, something is in the distance, in the water. Standing in the water he sees a figure, Samuel who is still waking up rubs his eyes and feels sleepy for some reason. He starts blinking uncontrollably as the figure is heading his way at speed that picks up each time he blinks and then.
"Is this him?" One woman said. "Yes, he is the one." A man replied. "This is the guy that will help us out with our problem? Why is he so special to you huh?" Another man interrupts the two.
"This boy is special you will see soon enough." The man replied with confidence. "We'll see about that although, you gotta remember, you have to not only get our agreement but the rest of us as well, you got that? You can't just go and recruit an everyday human like this."
"He is not an everyday human!" Silence now and begin the spell!" The man in anger shouted.
The three people being a spell, from the palm of their hands you see a bright white light form. They gather around a sleeping Samuel Gaia, from the two side of the chair and his toes. He rises into the air and begins to disappear from head-to-toe. He smiles. A smile so big that he seems satisfied with this ending but, is it really the end? He is gone now. The man you once knew, now reborn into another.
"Thank you for your help. It means a lot to me." The man said to the group.
"I hope you're right about this." The woman replied with ambition and vanishes.
"Why are you still here?" The man asked.
"No reason, all I'm gonna say is good luck." The other person said jokingly and vanishes too.
The remaining person still standing looks up.
"I'm coming Samuel, hope I didn't make you wait long." The man laughs nervously and disappears.
I wake up. My body feels hot. I look around me and all I see is white. A room of pure white plastered over all of the walls, looking in every direction I don't see an exit or anything like an entrance either. I hear something from behind me and I behold a four shadows behind a full formed shadow all of them blocking their head as if they do not wish to be seen. The four shadows vanish and the full formed shadow takes place finally. A man appears wearing a black robe and begins to take it off revealing his true identity.
"Samuel Gaia, we have been awaiting your arrival." The man said wearing a black coat with multiple layers underneath, oddly stylish for someone who has no correlation with Samuel whatsoever.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Samuel asked with fear. The man scoffs at him and tosses a pair of dice. "What? What do you want me to do with this? Roll it?" Samuel questions the man.
"You wished for a change in your life, did you not. Mr. Gaia?" The man told him.
Samuel looks at the pair of dice and realizes that something inside of wants this to happen. He looks back at the man and breathes in and out and rolls the dice. He notices that in this room time is nothing and everything, here he can wait as long as he wants to see whether he should roll the dice or not.
The dice roll a few times over the white out floor, the man in the coat gasps at what the result was. All this time, he had hoped that Samuel would be the one to save them from their problem. The riddles he had solved from the Man in Black, all of which have led to this moment.
"It's a 12". Samuel stated.
"A 12? You said? Oh my, oh dear, this is, this is incredible!" The man exclaims in happiness. He grabs Samuels hands and the dice from the ground and takes off him out of the white room. Along with him, as they walk out of the white room, the entire new realm that Samuel is in is shrouded in light.
"Where are we?" Samuel said as if he is seeing something that cannot be properly explained to a simple human.
"The land in which all spirits are created, stored, and sent to the people of Astrea. You see Samuel we wanted to let you roll that dice to see if you have what it takes to become one of us." The man explained to him.
"And? Do I?" Samuel implored. The man turns to Samuel with a wide grin. Both his and Samuels hands start glowing. Both of them start rising to the air and fly.
"Woah woah, what's happening? How are you doing this?" Samuel begins to freak out due to his fear of heights.
"This isn't me doing this Samuel." The man spelled it out to him, and let go of his hands. Samuel shouts and closes his eyes for fear. He opens them and sees that he is still airborne.
"What? How? How am I doing this?" Samuel is mystified. His hands begin to glow again and starts to release particles.
"Use it for what you have been doing Samuel. To help those in need." The man clarified for him
Samuel understands now these powers grant him the way to heal any spirit that is broken or in need of repair, whether from a heartbreak or from physical fatigue, anything that makes the spirit weak. He can fix them. He makes his way to the nearest city in this realm and begins to heal them all. A woman with a cold fever that she can't sweat out, a man with only one leg that can walk, people who are still unclear of what to do with their life.
"Everyone, even in this realm all have the same problem as us in the other world." Samuel wonders to himself. He arrives to a different part of the city, the part in which "the rich" live in. He notices that all of their spirits are complex with multiple layers to them, even the clothing they wear, the women with white stockings and dresses, the men with suits to their everyday job. these people have lives that far exceed the ones he had seen earlier that day.
He heals all of them from the inside revealing the true meaning to happiness to them. The entire time the shadow people have been watching him and unknowingly Samuel was being guided by the oddly stylish man. Samuel arrives to where the man was last seen talking to him.
"Hello? Mister? I never got your name!" Samuel shouts. He rubs his eyes due to the fatigue of his new found powers. After he rubs them he looks then onto the oddly stylish man in a room now shrouded in darkness. The man walks up.
"Samuel, you have performed admirably but now, it's time for the true test of strength. The Test of Endure. You see, I have a lot of powers, the same ones as you have right now however, you can awaken those powers to finally create and use your own spirit to your liking." The man elaborates.
"What's the test then?" Samuel asked.
"Here!" The man tosses the dice once more to Samuel. "Use it and you shall see."
Samuel looks at the dice for the last time. He rolls it.
"I believe I haven't told you my name did I? Oh no worries, My name is Michael and I am the Archangel."
Samuel looks up in awe, looks back down and sees he has rolled another twelve.
"I knew it." Michael mutters. "The stars have aligned!"
Samuel, somewhere in his body, notices a surge of energy coursing through his veins, he endures it and rises from the dark room. He realizes now that this is what he had been waiting for, all the hardships, all the questions he had answered, everything. He had found the solution. Samuel starts releasing this pent up energy across this realm. Rays of light travel across the skies. Even in Astrea, the people notice the aurora borealis in the sky, which is only supposed to appear in the most northern point of the world. The event lasts for quite a while until, abruptly, he is teleported to a conference hall in the city of Empyrean.
"Humans and other living beings, I present to you our newest addition to the Archangels, please welcome Samuel Gaia!" Michael announces to the people of Empyrean. The people applause from all over the hall and the entire realm. Samuel waves, he is in shock as to what has happened but is enduring it all. He is happy. All he can do right now is, smile. Michael looks over to the other four Archangels and to the crowd of Empyreans, he stops and squints his eyes.
"Is that?" He sees someone wearing all black in the crowd of Empyreans wearing robes of white. The Man in Black looks up while leaning against the wall, unable to see his face, he smiles and disappears out of sight. Michael reverts back to waving to the crowd.
"This, this is the end of my journey on Astrea, Father, Mother, I thank you for raising me. Please don't miss me. I will always be with you. Whenever and wherever, no matter what, I'll save them. I'll save everyone from the problem you all have been experiencing!" Samuel shouts into the crowd and to the rest of Empyrean.
