Damon and Leon found out that they were in the famous Class-S together. They were shocked beyond imagination. Out of all the students that wanted to get in Class-S, they were the ones chosen!
What caused me to be put in this class? Me of all people!
Leon, on the other hand, was shaking with joy. Damon swore that he could actually hear his heart jumping around.
“No way! We made it to Class-S Damon!”
Damon attempted to quiet Leon down, because they were getting many cold stares from the other students that had not been as fortunate as them. Suddenly, an announcement resonated throughout the Training Hall.
(Students who have been admitted to Class-S, please come to classroom 127 for your special briefing. We will be starting in 15 mins.)
“Guess we gotta run to classroom 127. I wonder what our classmates are gonna be like. I didn’t recognize any other names other than ours on the board.”
“Let’s worry about that later, we need to go now.” Damon said with a resolute tone.
The pair walked out of the Training Hall while many people stared at their backs. A familiar group was watching Damon carefully, as if they were stalkers. This group of guys immediately walked towards another familiar girl with purple hair once Damon and Leon had left the area.
“What should we do about that guy, leader?”
The biggest guy of the group addressed Rachel in a polite tone. He, a Middle Ranker dared not to offend the High Ranker he was talking to. Rachel looked at the leader of the group and gave him his orders.
“Don’t do anything now. I don't know what tricks he pulled to get into Class-S, but you can’t deal with him now. I'll take action because that lowly commoner is somehow in my class! A class that is supposed to be for nobles and the rich!.”
Rachel was talking spitefully, as if Damon was an insect that needed to be crushed. She hated commoners more than anything else, especially if he was ranked in the same class as her. A well respected noble!
“Gather information for me. Look into his background, and if he’s actually hiding his skills on purpose. There’s no other way to get into this academy, much less Class-S!”
“We will make sure to do that, Ma'am.”
The group of boys exited the hall and went to look into Damon’s background. Damon was obviously oblivious to this huge event concerning him. He was too busy trying to find classroom 127!

“Where are we! Do you have the map?”
Leon was currently having trouble leading Damon to the briefing room; they were lost.
“Hand me the campus layout paper! I’ll do the leading from now on.”
Damon snatched the paper away from Leon quite forcefully. It seemed that he was annoyed that they might be late for the very important meeting because of such a careless mistake! Damon finally spotted where the class was and started walking towards that direction, but they stopped abruptly. Standing in front of them was a person clad in black, seemingly one with the shadows. He looked like a man, but you couldn’t tell from their appearance.

Damon and Leon froze in their spots. The murderous vibe that the person was giving off was so strong that the two boys immediately got the thought to get as far away as possible. The man in black eyed Damon and then Leon. The vibe he had earlier changed and his clothes turned to that of a teacher! A pure white uniform with a tie.
“Hello students! Sorry for scaring you there, I was just monitoring the school grounds and I just came back.”
The man’s voice was deep, but soothing. It didn’t match the vibe from before, but Damon and Leon decided to just forget about it. Leave it in the back corner of their mind until they actually needed it.
“Yeah, we’re here for the briefing for Class-S students. Are you our teacher?” said Leon, while still wary of the man.
“As a matter of fact, I am your teacher! You can call just call me Dan. I don’t give out my name, because it’s a business thing.”
Dan smiled at Leon and told them to go in the class and wait for the meeting to start.
“I’ll be there in a minute, I just need to get something,” said Dan as he rushed off somewhere.
Damon and Leon walked in the room, silently agreeing to not talk about their encounter. They could hear many voices coming from the room, but not as many as they thought. Class-S was a special class, only for those that had exceptional abilities. Therefore, the class currently only had 10 students in it. An equal amount of boys and girls were present, sitting on chairs while talking in their respective groups.
Damon’s first impression of the classroom was that it was big. It was a 100m by 100m room with its own personal training centre along with an area designated for eating and learning. It looked like a classic university lecture hall, with the benches going upwards in rows starting from the front of the room. There was a huge blackboard at the front, and Class-S Meeting was written on it.
The 8 other students were sitting on the benches and chatting away, but once Damon and his friend entered, the class quieted down and stared at them. Damon could see 2 people he was familiar with. Siena and Rachel, sitting side by side giving Damon dirty looks. The other students went back to chatting with each other once they realized Damon and Leon weren’t anything special.
Damon walked into the room and took an empty seat. Leon sat beside him. They were at the front most set of benches where it was empty. There were only 10 students after all, so many seats were vacant.
Siena and Rachel started to stand up, while giving Damon piercing gazes. They looked like they were about to start a fight. They’re expressions and curled fists clearly indicated that, but before they could do or say anything, the classroom door opened.
“Hello class. I’ll be your teacher for this year. My name’s Dan, nice to meet you all!”
The man in black (now white) greeted Class-S with the same joyous tone he had before when he talked with Damon and Leon. Then, Dan proceeded to get everyone to introduce themselves. Rachel went first.
“Hi, my name’s Rachel! It’s a pleasure to be your classmate everyone!”
Rachel sounded like she was giving a rehearsed speech, all the sentences sounded like they were planned out to give out the perfect result she desired. She talked whithout a hint of negative emotions until she said a particular sentence.
“Except for that guy over there. He’s a lowly commoner that tried to rape me!”
Rachel pointed at Damon with disgust, while also adding disgust into her voice. She was trying to convince the class that he had done something wrong!
“W-what are you saying? I never did something like that! That’s a false claim!”
Damon raised his hands up in exasperation. He was confused and angry at the same time. He had been falsely accused by this noble girl, and now everyone was giving him suspicious looks!
“Stop lying! All I did was talk to you, and even then, you insulted me for being a commoner!” Damon retorted.
The class stared at Damon with cold expressions. The 5 girls and 3 boys started agreeing with Rachel.
“That sounds like something a commoner that doesn’t know his place would do.”
“Yeah, we should believe Rachel. After all, she’s part of the Hamlet family.”
“How dare a scumbag like him try to rape her! He should be expelled out of this school instantly!”
The students shouted out loud, insulting and accusing Damon of something he didn’t do.
Before Damon could yell out in a fit of rage, Dan interrupted them.
“Let’s leave whatever you’re talking about for later ok? We’ve got a meeting to get on with, so continue your arguments later.”
Dan calmed the class down, but Damon kept getting disgusted and horrified gazes from the other Class-S students. From this situation, it was clearly shown that the nobles that attended the school hated commoners. It was enough that they made it to Class-C, but one making it to Class-S? It was too much for them to handle. That’s why they criticized Damon even though there was no solid evidence to what Rachel had claimed she had experienced.
Siena was looking at him with pity for some reason. She was probably mad that Damon had beaten her in the Physical Combat test, so even she joined in on the argument. Still though, whenever Damon looked at her, she turned her eyes away as if she was shy. She also didn’t contribute much to the crowd when they were making fun of him.
Maybe Siena isn’t so bad after all? That time she challenged me in the test might just have been a misunderstanding right? After all, she didn’t even look at me until after she received some kind of signal back at the ring.
Damon shut away his negative feelings for now. He was used to doing it, so it wasn’t so hard, and concentrated on his train of thought.
I still don’t know if she’s completely innocent though. I will have to gather more information later. For now, let’s just listen to Dan.
Damon stopped thinking about finding at least one more ally in this class other than Leon. He would do that at a later date. Right now, he needed to concentrate on Dan, so he could understand how the school worked, and learn about other important information. Damon focused onto the figure standing at the front of the room,
“So this meeting will contain all the information you need in able for you to be a Class-S student at The Royal Academy. The school operates like this…”
The first meeting in the soon to be famous Class-S had begun.
